  1. Windows may well be the issue.

if hardware is updated and checks out with diagnostics then software is the only resolution.

it is often faster to image your current setup and then reinstall Windows to see. But if the problem persists then it is likely to be an individual issue.

Otherwise the forum would be lit with identical reports.

@steviejay69  Actually it makes no difference - in either the PS3 or PS4 position G HUB will still detect the wheel and switch it to PC mode.

@mjg1301I could do with a full list of games that you've tried the wheel with please.  Also, is the wheel present and working when you test it in the Game Controllers app in Windows (joy.cpl from the run window)?

@LogiUK is that different to with LGS? Asking for a friend 🙂

    Update:

I just found this fix for the Ego Dumper...

    "Image Sharpening – Off
    Low Latency Mode – Off
Power Management – Prefer Maximum Performance
Texture filtering – Quality – Performance
    Threaded Optimization – On

Apply these changes and F1 2020 will stop crashing with Ego Dumper crash."

I changed the settings and hope that there will be no more crashes..
the funny thing is that it only crashs while watching the replay of the race.. and after I have to do the whole race again which isnt that funny on 50% 😄

You are far better posting a dxdiag than the egodumper log which is almost useless (unless requested by CM specifically).

We have no idea of the hardware, drivers or Windows version from any of this.

    Don't watch the replays.... 😄

@steviejay69, sorry not to see answered sooner, I was so happy that the game works that I forgot to post you a message

thank you for taking the time to help me, finally I did not change anything and I start the game in direct x12 and all is well

This is possibly due to Windows updates if the game has not changed at all. Or Steam redistributables.

Honestly, the whole thing is a crapshoot.

  5. Yes, framecapping is an accepted solution. But your dxdiag shows you run a 1080 screen.

So quite why you are running the game in 720 is baffling, this I flagged in beta when running the game in a different refresh to the default desktop refresh.

The RX590 is capable of hitting up to 165Hz in Medium preset, which isn't a million miles off what you are aimed at.

But if it will run High or Ultra at 100/120/144 (whatever the screen will support, looks like 144 native and 165 is OC) - you should try HIgh at 1080 no need to framecap just turn on freesync.
