No issues so far but it's hard to tell as the issue I had was totally random, and no only I had problem like that at dx12.
Anyway, less then a month for 2k20 and will see if DX12 will get any improvement in performance.
*another thing to mention is why at DX12 HDR looks better than on DX11?
Oh and most of the time, everytime I quit game at DX12, it crashes.
The fix for the crash on exit for me was to cap the framerate to that of the desktop or in-game refresh.
So, as on one build I run at 100Hz desktop, 99Hz in-game refresh and framecap at 99FPS (V-SYNC OFF).
I noticed the in-game refresh was not being respected by the game so I just enabled the framecap in-game. No more crashing on exit.

Can you try using the in-game framelimiter to 60FPS? Thanks.

@EXPERTYOYO973 @massa88 I have something for you to try to solve the crashing on exit.
If VSYNC is set to OFF and the framelimiter is OFF then the game crashes on exit (FPS/refresh not obeyed). I turned on the framelimiter. My game does not crash on exit.
For full replication of my setting I am playing;
Quote1920x1080 Fullscreen (Windowed) - graphical preset MEDIUM
Desktop refresh is set to 100Hz
In-game refresh is set to 99Hz
V-SYNC is OFF
Framelimiter set to 99FPS.
It's probably quicker if you set the framelimiter to match your desktop refresh or that of the in-game refresh and tell me what works.
e.g. your desktop is set to 60Hz, try the framelimiter at 60FPS.
Let me know.

Disable Steam Overlay is not a fix - it was an old issue with early builds of the game and specific Nvidia drivers.
DX11 is not a fix either, it's highly likely that whatever doesn't work or causes a crash in DX12 will be the same in DX11.
Anyway, I suggest you post your crashdump and dxdiag here too.

Just want to make it clear, I don't play golf.

I've found it makes no difference to me. I usually set as default driver install and don't change any options unless they have benefit. Looking on YT and wondering what kind of received wisdom was circulating I found tuts and on forums that lots were recommending Prefer Max Perf although there was no conclusive evidence to say it benefitted all or that Nvidia condoned or recommended anything. I've even seen it in one game manual that the setting was recommended (an expensive golf simulator).

i was playing last race in our league just fine with 2004 update
i also do few more races and game have not crashed yethope that helps a bit
Well, I loaded the 2004 build last night and updated to 19041.329 and still had the crash. So, I DDUed and installed 446.14 and still had the crash.
It is on exit of the game, every time. It does play fine, just get the EGO dumper on exit. Can you post your dxdiag @massa88 because I know you use the same card as me.
2004 was a clean install, not an upgrade. I never upgrade.

6 hours ago, MassiveNoogies said:I think a friend of mine may have solved the problem. Apparently the Open Wheel Add On is not listed as a supported wheel from Codemasters for F1 2019 (which they neglected to mention in their response to my issue). So I'm going to send it back, get the F1 wheel that IS supported and report back. Thank you again for all the help!
The Open Wheel is supported on TX with your firmware and on XBox. There is an XBox mapping on the Thrustmaster tech support site and the TX is a supported wheelbase.
Because the Open Wheel is not on the Codemasters list does not mean it has no support.

What setting do you have in the Nvidia driver?
Do you use Prefer maximum performance?

30 minutes ago, Erumasta said:So today I tried to test F1 without stream, rtx voice, vcam etc, just F1 in DX12 at 4k with HDR on, but capped frames to 60 (with scanline sync) to reduce tearing.
Before(during stream(, Mem usage was sometimes over 10GB, while today max was around 7GB at maxed settings in game but at the end of the "long" (around 3hours) session I've noticed again this weird fps stuttering, fps was at around 50-60.
Definitely there is something with DX12, as on DX11 it works much better, except that game may crash/freeze from time to time.
Can you DDU and reinstall your drivers?
Also, can you name your motherboard please?

I have feeling these two threads of yours will be merged.

My wheel came with the T3PA pedal set.
I need to see video of what you are describing and asking, please. You do realise that when the drivers are correctly installed the properties take you into the Thrustmaster CP? If you are getting Windows Controller properties you do not have the driver working.

5 hours ago, MassiveNoogies said:Either that or possibly even the wheel, I dunno. I don't know how much data gets transferred between the two to determine which one is at fault, but I can't imagine it being anything other than those two things that's causing this problem.
When it comes to the mode changes to alter the DOR, there is definitely something that happens, but the lowest setting (270º, which I believe is the default setting when the servo is turned on) just doesn't cut it and of course 900º is just hilariously bad. Overall, the front end is numb and steering input is pretty unresponsive, which of course leads to a lot of understeer. And no matter what the maximum wheel rotation is set to or what mode the DOR is in, I am still able to turn the wheel 450º either direction. The wheel will stop where it should, but it takes very little force to continue rotation. It's amazing that I haven't read about this problem anywhere else... Don't know if the next step for me is to exchange the servo or the wheel but the servo would be my first guess.
Please post a dxdiag and describe how you connect the wheelbase to the computer (which USB port, what else is plugged in, etc.)

@DrDraken I was meaning the global everyone, not all of the individuals who have the issues.
I’d love to be funded enough to try to replicate any of the issues people are having especially lately with these Logitech wheels.
For my sins I’m rewarding myself with more Fanatec although in some quarters you’d think it’s no reward 😃

Ok delete all your custom controller profiles in-game and exit. Verify your Steam game files. Delete the hardware_settings_config.xml and relaunch F1 2019.
-
Have you installed the latest driver and firmware updates?
The wheel inputs for F1 are quite harsh on a round rim. Smaller F1 style rims are much more appropriate. But you might be able to compensate by lowering the DOR to 330, 300 or even 270 to get the feel you are looking for. But at any rotation under or over 360 the wheel animations will not match your input.
You can turn the wheel animation off if it helps.

There was a recent Steam update that said it would adjust some things with regard to deadzones on controllers. But I think you should be able to figure this out on your Logitech software.
If the brake is registering without input, then the potentiometer is dirty. The best solution is to open the pedals and remove the dirt or dust.
Don't remove the grease unless you need to, but regrease if you do.
When you have done this there will be no need for deadzones unless you have a preference for one.

Disabling the Steam Overlay is not a fix. It is a troubleshooting test. But it applied to an old build of the game with a specific Nvidia driver.
Can you edit your first post? Posting the EGO dumper text is not useful, but the crashdump will be, so upload the zip file instead.
