Windows 2004 is the problem. You need to build with 1909, sorry.

hi I have F1 2013 and I play on the lowest settings and lags for me. i have a laptop lenovo ideapad 110 with a graphics card Intel HD Graphics 400 1.6 GHz what should i do.

Intel HD Graphics 4000 from that era are not sufficient for powering the game. Also the system RAM is used (8GB max in Ideapad) and the CPU is only 1.6GHz mobile that makes it like a Pentium.

    I struggled with F1 2012 on a G2120 which was a 3.1GHz desktop CPU.

    Hi Loyd.

I think it has to do with the new win 10 version. I've tried different drivers but the error is only present on win 10 2004. I think you just have to wait for a patch. I have the same issue.

450.99 exhibits the same behaviour on 2004. 446.14 works on 1909 so yes I do believe it could be 2004 that is the issue.

Also, it is not just F1 2019 that does this (see my signature), so that further points the finger of blame at Microsoft.

  5. How do you connect to the screen? The Nvidia support articles say that you need to use HDMI 2.0b or DP 1.4 for RTX2070 for HDR.

They also recommend titles run in fullscreen exclusive mode.

There are reports that HDR is broken in some Nvidia drivers from a quick scan of forum posts (not sure how widely affected and on going).

Also I don't have an HDR screen, so I can't test any suggestions.

Hello. I have a question about using the Thrustmaster TMX wheel with F1 2019. Do I just need to set the wheel angle of rotation in-game, for the hardware or for both? I'm not sure what default wheel angle of rotation the TMX is, but I can set it using the directional pad plus the mode button. I just noticed that I could set the angle in-game too. So I'm just trying to figure out how to setup the wheel the best for either 270 or 360 degree.

    Platform?

  7. The QSG has the mappings for each platform, not sure if this is something you haven't seen or might find useful.

Try deleting any custom profiles in game and then check the default map for correct operation.

As I haven't any experience of a wheelbase or wheel in the Fanatec software, not sure how much I can offer, plus the wheel would be in PC mode for the diagnostic. But you could use the PC to check for correct control operation? (I only have pedals at present).

I would imagine that in-game the Fanatec shows up as one controller - try disconnecting other devices like pads (or the recently added AFAIK keyboard support).

    • Thanks 1

  8. Well, I would use the 334 driver from the v2 page. Beta....only go there if you have unresolved issues with the last issued driver.

Not sure if you can revert firmware suggested by a beta driver. If you can wait, I will have this base by the end of the month.

Stupid question: On console you MUST plug the pedals into the wheelbase. Not directly to USB.

If you check the wheel mode the indicator is GREEN?

Hello As agreed, I will keep you informed:
I still have concerns, (the screen freezes, with mandatory restart of F1 2019) in Monaco about every 10/15 Mins the graphics card update (new adrenaline version 20.5.1)
    is done

For EC Firmware I have a message that tells me that "the system does not need firmware"?

For the BIOS it is strange because yesterday I had the F32 installed (impossible to install the F51, a message tells
me that this version is reserved for 32 Bits) while I am in 64, but when I look today I have F8 UEFI ??
and I can't deliver the F32 version ... HELP ME PLEASE

    Thanks

    Cordially

    DxDiag.txt

You cannot be following the standard operating procedure for updating UEFI.

FAT32 formatted USB stick. Copy only the (extracted) X470AG7W.F31 file to the root of the drive. Use QFLASH utility to update, see manual Chapter 2. DO NOT USE @BIOS

FWUpdate will not work on F8. DO THE STEPS IN ORDER

Repeat for F51d. No need to do FWUpdate again.

Uninstall LGS with Geek. Reboot. Install G-Hub, plugging in the wheel after installation.

Check working in G-Hub. Delete hardware_settings_config.xml, launch F1 2019, confirm working in-game settings. Delete any custom profiles and remap from base schema (if required).

Try this and then post a dxdiag with the wheel plugged in.

I have previosusly updated the firmware and installed icue software, same issue.

It works fine in other games so there is something odd about F1. With a sim rig it's good to use a wireless keyboard with trackpad & so is a common problem for F1 players.

Ofcourse if codies put in a proper mouse driver for the pc version (like most other sims) that'd help!

Okay. Please uninstall iCue with Geek Uninstaller and retest.

iCue has been the issue previously for others.

    Hello everyone,

maybe someone can help me. I'm playing F1 2019 with the Fanatec Clupsport Steering Wheel Formula V2 on Xbox, so I have a little problem with that.

I can't use these buttons: LT, RT, LSB, RSB

Although I have pedals, the LT and RT button are set on the steering wheel as brake and gas.

The LSB and RSB button on the steering wheel are also set as upshifting and downshifting.

So far I have not found any solutions to the problem on the Internet and here in the forum.

Wheelbase? I see you are on XB1.

You need to connect to a PC and update stuff. The more info you can give, the more people will be able to help.

Yes. And windows show the clutch axis.
But if i press it in F1... it show as Button 1.

    Strange, i think f1 2019 doesn't accept more than the predefined axis. which is brake (rotation-z), accelerator(y-), wheel(X +/-).

the clutch in windows is another axis. ( perphaps z- or anything like that ) And f1 doesnt understand it. other games do 😕

Do you have either of the LGS 8.xx or 9.xx or GHub installed?

Did or have you ever had any other controller for use with the game (that you've used)?

Do you have Project CARS installed?

If you post a dxdiag that would be helpful.

the last two days i've done a clean install of windows and all programs. now i want to play the game and the same issue is still there. egodumper crash when i start the game, sometimes i can play some minutes but than it is still crashing.

i hate this gpu driver ....

To make it clear, I was using 450.99 with F1 2019 and Ego Dumper crashes were on EVERY exit of the game. Didn't try 446.14 on 2004, but it's stable on 1909. However, I don't get crashes with 445.87 either and plenty do.

I was wondering why even if I bought the delux edtion on steam, on my library it says it's relased on 10th,  I gives me anxiety cuz delux editon is relased on 7th, and I'm curious if my game will unlock on 7th

Early access is part of the 'limited edition' pizzazz. Was the same for Legends Edition, they got the Day 1 bugs first! 😉

Yes, it will unlock on the 7th. Your preload will update with the 0-day patch.

I'm running it on xbox one but updating it on laptop. Xbox one x only has 3.0 USB ports I believe

It's certainly critical for the firmware updates that USB 2.0 is used (or USB 1.1) using the device in 'play' mode there may be 'bursty' data transfer rates that may have an effect but the wheel should be utilising driver APIs that are designed with current hardware specs in mind, The older DirectInput isn't really used too much, that was around the USB early spec. Now we are using XInput API that is a lot more sophisticated and can deal with different input types.

That's the update i did v55. But after I did it the bottom part(firmware) stayed in boot 9 mode. I tried taking the f1 wheel of and put on my Ferrari edition wheel on but it still says the same thing. Normally thrustmasters are really good getting back to you, but with all this virus stuff they cant answer phones or emails. I will try the 2.0 port though later. I didnt know there were different types 🤣

OK make sure also you leave the wheel connected until the PC is at least restarting.

    For the want of circulating 'good to know' knowledge to the broader community;

    • All the wheels currently available do USB 1.1 data rates.
    • USB 3.0 is *usually* highlighted with a blue (sometimes red - Mobo makers....whatcha gonna do.... :classic_rolleyes:) port key.
    • I would AVOID USB 3.x, USB-C (with or without adapters), USB hubs (passive or powered), USB 'Always On' (charging ports - usually indicated with a DC style symbol (solid line above broken line, sometimes coloured yellow port key)), front panel ports on header cables from the motherboard (often have poor soldering, questionable cable routing, sometimes flimsy in certain cheaper cases) and 3rd Party controller USB driven ports (often add-ons to boards that don't have Native USB 3.0) you may need to refer to your motherboard manual for assistance.
    • If your PC has only USB 3.0 ports (can be signified as all port keys being black) then I suggest you again refer to the motherboard manual for a way of altering the operating mode - XHCI is the newest mode, EHCI the older more compatible type and try switching the mode to EHCI - this of course means the max data rate of the ports will then be USB 2.0 but only really fast storage like External HDDs, USB flash drives and some SD card controllers will be affected. Most of these are transitioning to PCI-E lanes anyway with newer chipsets.

Hi guys sorry to post this here but I really need help and as this is the most used forum at the moment I thought I would give it a try. I updated my tx thrustmaster a couple of days ago. It has now stuck in (boot 9) mode. Which basically puts it into limp mode. There is little to no feedback and the wheel just doesn't feel right. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this problem or knows how to fix it?

Use a USB 2.0 port on the PC. USB 3.0 ports are EXTREMELY DIFFERENT (XHCI vs EHCI)!

The latest Thrustmaster driver is here and the FW utility is in the same program group.

If you are still experiencing problems, it may be worth removing the F1 Rim and reconnecting the TX Rim (with the power off). Firmware v55 is the target.

Here's the post from the Thrustmaster TS page https://support.thrustmaster.com/en/kb/4596-en/
