@PloowzI see you have updated the driver but I'm not really FOR or PRO GeForce 'optimisation' - I have been able to elicit higher frame rates with self-selected settings. 445.87 has issues with F1 2019, the 445.98 are recommended (hotfix).
Well, the audio drivers are unsigned, so that's at your own risk. There is apparent 'garbage' under the Realtek driver entry in the dxdiag.
Thank you for the motherboard info.
I can't find a 0505 BIOS listed (concerns me slightly, but could just be reporting a generic AMI Aptio V) - 2301 is the latest.
Do you run with V-SYNC enabled or not? Often I see machines crash because of high framerates in menus and the like. Frame capping and / or V-SYNC seems to help.

Note to all PS4 players - don't rest the game!
They were doing this in (let's call it pre-season if you get my drift) then posting error reports. Fuggeddaboudit. 🙂

I'm scared to change from V432.00 to another...still working good here !

Even the Nvidia release notes say the F1 2019 CTD is fixed on 445.98. Other users have reported success here.
It must be something to do with the computer setup or the in-game settings.
Old drivers will be overwritten, that's why staying ahead of WU/Inbox is better - plus they aren't always full drivers, just basic 'do no harm' display drivers, not always fully D3D capable.

I tried everything, I checked but drivers, my windows update, nvidia, direct X, I optimized the game with nvidia, I tried without optimizing it, I deleted my friends from my list d friend steam, I deleted the family mode, I did EVERYTHING so who can help me? This message did not go to steviejay69 because he is trying to help me. and I thank him
There are unsigned audio device entries in there (Virtual Audio Cable), Java and a ScpService.exe which I cannot determine what belongs to. If these are related I suggest you remove them.
There are appcrashes with GTA V and Rocket League so it's not just F1.
I can't fully ID your motherboard so if you post the name and the Nvidia driver is quite old (not updated) - current is 445.87 (445.98 hotfix for F1) you are on 441.12 these are not current.

Yes you need Logitech drivers on the laptop.
You have two choices. LGS or GHub. GHub is Logitech's official controller driver.
Reportedly they don't co exist well, but I no longer have a Logitech wheel to offer anything more conclusive.
If you search the forum you will see I have given this response before.

Maybe they can be enabled in the hardware_settings_config.xml but if CM removed the code that does it, no amount of adjusting will bring it back.
Never really ran the game in Ultra so would only get a bastardised HWSC anyway.
Troubleshooting will tell you where that file is. No guarantees.

Just now, ThaZ900 said:Yes i understand, but if the V432.00 version keeps working well (must check it in other games) then i stay with this one....i hope you understand 😉
It's up to you, but I can assure you the 445.98 driver is working well.

3 minutes ago, ThaZ900 said:I did this, and after windows rebooted the Nivia V432.00 installs itselves. And now the weird thing....no more issues. OK it was 1 race online but it seems good till now !!
You should use a more up to date driver actually. The Windows inbox drivers may be overwritten unexpectedly. And the DDU process explicitly asks you to disconnect from the internet! There is a checkbox in the settings to prompt you for Safe Mode as well.
445.98 is the latest hotfix (based on the 445.87 GRD) but it does fix F1 2019.
I am glad you got sorted but please follow my recommendation.

I'm also going to recommend what I am calling the "RDR2 fix" in that capping framerates or using V-SYNC is helpful, but these must be matched against your monitor's capability and the in-game preset you use.

When something fails suddenly I've 70FPS at 30% GPU load and then also 3sec. freezes in game when im on track (in specmode its always OK). Using an ASUS GTX1080Ti ROG Strix. I spend several days for a solution....nothing helps till now. CPU = i8700K
Can you also take the above steps and post a dxdiag please?

@massa88 you use the Logitech F310? Can you provide any tips?
I will look at the dxdiag.
Please update the Nvidia driver to hotfix 445.98
Remove the ASMedia driver and let the W10 inbox driver install. Try different USB ports (avoid the Red USB ports or any expansion front panel connector connected to F_USB30_1)
GHub would seem to be the latest working controller software for the G512 and G403.
LGS 5.10 is the latest for the F310.
Try uninstalling LGS with Geek Uninstaller. GHub is reported to not co-exist well with LGS 8.xx.xxx or 9.xx.xxx, not sure of it's effect on 5.10.127 - certainly you could have two versions of LGS co-exist peacefully (I used 8.xx and 5.xx together).

I've just recently bought the game and for some reason my car won't accelereate, or it would be working for a while then stop and start working again and it keeps doing that. It doesn't matter if I use keyboard or controller, I'll still get the problem.
Please post a full report as per the forum heading.

Then you should have no issues running the game in Ultra High preset. Use the recommended Nvidia releases at the top of the forum.
Delete the hardware_settings_config.xml before launching the game.
Use DDU if a simple reinstall or upgrade does not have the desired effect.
Post a dxdiag ONLY IF those steps do NOT work.

Thank you, but you will receive more support if you translate your answers, this is an English language forum. There is a mix of French and English (try turning off the 'Always Translate' option in Google Chrome. Don't apologise for poor English, just translate it. We will understand it.
You have uninstalled and redownloaded the game but still the same problem. You have the game working on your brother's PC.
I suggest you check for connectivity issues first then upload a dxdiag. It is more than likely an issue with your PC.
What is "family mode"? Multiplayer? Please use the template

so i am running on stock sparco rim and my Thrustmaster CP doesnt have advanced mode.
also i am nooob and this may be a dumb question. i will delete all my ingame controller profiles, but how do i delete the hardware_settings_config.xml file?
thanks for the time!
The location is mentioned in the pinned troubleshooting tips thread, but
C:\Users\<Your username>\Documents\My Games\F1 2019\hardware
due to other posts in the thread we assume this still does not work and we are awaiting a response from Thrustmaster but have as yet had none other than a stock response that they will investigate and update us when they have.
Might also be an idea to delete the actionmaps and verify the files with Steam once more to make sure they are 'fresh'.
Where did you get to with Codemasters support?

I have this really big issue that makes the game impossible to play :
When I center my wheel, the games detects it as full left lock (even more) and i need to full right lock on my wheel to get the in-game steering straight
I tried desinstalling and reinstalling the game and I deleted all my custom controls profiles
Any ideas on how to fix it ?
Post a bug report please. You see the obvious error with this post!

I have validated the files of the game through steam about 10 times with no improvement, ive downloaded the Nvidia hotfix 445.98 with no change, ive done a reinstall of the full game. Steam overlay disabled, also disabled Shadowplay overlay, nothing seems to be fixing the issue. Nothing different happened in the lead up to the problem, the crash happens in both single player and multiplayer.
Im using a Logitech G29 with the pedals that come standard. RTX 2060, 16GB RAM, Intel I7 8700k @3.7GHz.
I have searched the forums for this issue extensively to only find one post in september 2019 which had no replies
Post a dxdiag please, sounds interesting. To save me looking, can you link the post you found in Sep 19?

On 5/20/2020 at 3:05 PM, Kompjutaguy said:I would suggest deleting your graphics setting in the documents folder and then launch the game again and see if that will help.
If that doesn't help, try turning off Steam overlay and Vsync should be set to off.
Really no need to turn off the Steam overlay. That was a specific build of Nvidia driver and an issue with Steam, both of which are long outdated.
hardware_settings_config.xml is the file @Kompjutaguy is referring to. Delete, then launch the game.

@AlexTT you've shot yourself in the foot right there my friend. Really you need some time away. Say a game cycle, don't buy 2020, don't visit the forum.
Or as long as it takes. And I think you owe an apology to be honest.

Thanks in advance,
Crazy answer but I believe DPad input (generically) is up/down navigate MFD items, MFD button cycles MFD pages (repeated press) and left / right to change MFD setting?
But, you are on an unsupported wheel, you might have to edit the controller schema.

This tends to result in difficulty recovering the car after the game comes back. I'm sure there's not a huge amount of interest in this game at this point but I'm wondering if anyone knows what's going on? I've got an i72700k with an Nvidia GTX 970 and that should be more than enough horsepower for the game. Color me confused. Poor optimization? Issues with modern hardware?
Nvidia spaghetti probably. Or at least, you answered your own question.
Reversing the vehicle reflection downgrade F1 2019
in Technical Assistance

It's nothing to do with resolution. The hardware_settings_config.xml sets the parameters for the game engine (a bit like an .ini file).
BUT if the actual game code has the reflections muted then no amount of instructing the engine to do differently will work.
You can add the lines from F1 2018 if you like. It won't change the line above.
Do let me know if you have any luck though 🙂
