11 hours ago, xTiMm_ said:I have the same problem with my G29.
Neither on PS3 nor PS4 mode working anymore in F1 2019 latest update on steam.
Did all steps mentioned above with regedit and tried with Ghub and LGS.I have some feedback on the wheel until the own control of the car kicks in in the game. No vibrations or feedback thereafter.
This is weird, the opposite problem that plagues the T300. No feedback unless you press the gas and pedal fully and turn the wheel to lock in the pitlane coming out of the garage. In no garage scenarios (like TT) if you hit a wall that can restore full function - or once you make a definite turn (often T1).
Anyway, this is made super hard as I don't have the G29 to test with (I used to have a G920).
Logitech's position is G-HUB is the software to use.
G-HUB and LGS may not co-exist well.
I correct my previous post in this thread. PS4 mode is to be used on PC (PS3 mode is for Thrustmaster wheels).
Here is a video which shows the steps to get G-HUB to recognise the G29. If users would like to try this and feed back it would be great.
So I would say, if you have LGS working fine, leave it.
If you get the pedal switch issue or no gas or no FFB, try this fix with G-HUB.
But it would appear that you either try with LGS OR G-HUB, not both.
Geek Uninstaller is here. Logitech Wheel Driver Cleaner is here. G-HUB is here. LGS is here. (Install the software, restart, then use Geek to uninstall, restart, reinstall.)

My graphic card is xfx amd radeon rx 5700 xt thicc ii ultra 8gb gddr6
Can someone help me? I attach the logfile.
Thank you in advance.
A proper bug report and a dxdiag is required please @Goaqi

It sounds very much like the crash is related to the career save.
Can you play non career modes? Is there any background to the crashes?
Have you changed anything in the computer?
Have you played the game and returned to it after a time (I.e. gap in playing?)

Basic troubleshooting, verify Steam files?
Creating a Steam backup of the game, uninstalling then reinstalling from backup creates the first run scenario. This often updates or repairs MS runtimes.

Check your Killer Control Center and make sure F1 and Steam are top two priority for network traffic and also set bandwidth limits in here. If you are on other equipment check if you have similar software interfering with game traffic. For me my internet connection was always fine, firewall not blocking anything etc. Seems to be the network adapter software.
If it's of any historical significance, the older Intel Pro-Set management suite was responsible for a lot of disconnects and I remember an Nvidia chipset driver that if you installed the LAN driver you could forget any kind of network including internet....
Killer equipment is making bold claims whereas for gaming, a reliable N connection would be fine...always wear a wire. 🙂

Thanks for your help with this
Can't spot anything meaningful. The BIOS of your motherboard is labelled as PC Specialist, however I'm unable to find your configuration.
The audio driver is quite old. However, without the mainboard support I can't make suggestions.

@trussell20 Can you remove the Bose headphones whilst troubleshooting?
DDU your drivers and reinstall 445.98. Reboot and delete the hardware_settings_config.xml before launching.

There is no timescale that is definite. It won't be for at least a week....allegedly. Probably two weeks.

I play using direct x 12 and the error message displayed is in the Ego Dumper.
I have also disabled the in-game overlay and delete sound configuration file, both have not fixed the issue.
I have a Nvidia geforce rtx 2070 super GPU.
Thanks

There have been IRL Advertising mods available on Race Department (site login required).
Most of the recent games have had versions.

Exactly the kind of applicant they don't need. Causing busy people more work. It's not rocket science.

The upshift works just fine but every few clicks of the left paddle shifter, one click isn't registered which can result in me not being able to properly take a corner.
As mentioned before I'm using a brand new G29. I have also tried the wheel on two other games, Gran Turismo Sport and Dirt Rally 2.0 to be specific. In these two games the left paddle shifter works perfectly so it isn't something to do with the wheel. I have played career mode and time trial mode and the issue is present in both. I couldn't find any similar issues in pre-existing posts, so I made this one.
Edit: I just tested a formula 1 car and the problem isn't present there at all so it is just a formula 2 thing, don't know if this is intended.
@Jwoos Check the Driving Force shifter is in Neutral. Disconnect any other controllers to troubleshoot.

We would have less issues (or at least the same ones) if people just did this.

3. Game-mode-very high/high
4. whenever i play the game, cpu usage is 100%, which I dont think is normal. gpu and ram usage is 60 and 50 respectively. this occurs all the time when i play the game. i aam using xbox one controller.1.11 BIOS
Update to VGA driver 442.74
Use Geek Uninstaller to remove Acer User Experience Improvement Program.
Delete hardware_settings_config.xml before launching game after doing these updates.
Try testing without the Bluetooth keyboard and mouse if still no joy.

Delete the hardware_settings_config.xml before starting the game.
Also remove any other controllers like gamepads.

So, I think adding a little deadzone to the brake is the answer.

Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to work. I have tried recalibrating my controller in the Control Panel three or four times, but it's still not working. When I go to the in-game callibration settings, the brakes are shown to be on 0% unless the trigger in activated. I wonder if the brakes can be causing the problem even though the callibration screen shows it's on 0%.
What happens when you disconnect the controller and play with the keyboard?
If this resolves the issue, try a deadzone on the brake.

Even if you explain what you did in the profile then alter the thread title to solved, that helps others.

28 minutes ago, tronced said:Hello! I have purchased F1 2019 for Windows 10 very recently through Steam. I am using an Xbox 360 controller, as I don't have a wheel at the moment. Everything works perfectly, the game is absolutely amazing, but the DRS won't enable at any point. This means neither in time trial, GP mode or Career mode.
When I reach a DRS zone, the game beeps, but when I press the button it just won't work. I know this isn't a problem with the controller, as I tried using different buttons and they all work fine. When I use the same controller on F1 2013 for the Xbox 360 the DRS enables and disables properly.
I found some posts in this forum talking about changing the values in braking saturation, deadzone and linearity. Unfortunately, this doesn't work for me either.
If anyone has an idea of what could be going on it would be very much appreciated. If there's some more info I could provide please let me know.
Thank you!
It is a problem with the controller. The brake closes the DRS. Because your brake trigger is registering when you don't press it, the DRS won't open (or it does, but then shuts immediately).
Recalibrate your controller in Windows Control Panel. If you try remap, be sure to leave the trigger for a second, hold it for a second then let the trigger go immediately.
To prove it, disconnect the controller and use the keyboard controls. DRS will work.

F1 2020 BETA - Process Closed
in General Discussion
Posted
As far as I recall it was invited participants with F1 2016 because it was the first one. Don't recall it being public. YTers and influencers went to Birmingham as I remember (as well as being given codes).
F1 2016 was great out of the box compared to F1 2015 (not hard). But then....patches. Game ruined.
F1 2017 was the first public one (beta). It was very disorganised and the beta was very buggy. Esports was the mid-cycle save.
F1 2018 was a change to the method, bit more organised but not sure the game really changed a lot. DX12 was a beta branch.
F1 2019 was no real shift in methodology. Quite enjoyable and modes were changed quite a bit more. Pity the game was bugged from the get go, CM have been on the back foot quite a bit with this release. Actually thought the beta was the best of the ones I participated in in terms of the game itself, just the release was in no way related to the feel. I think they tried to cram in too much untested content ("The Scenario", F2, leagues, etc.).
I'm optimistic of better with F1 2020. Although, you could say "hope springs eternal". That is of course, assuming I'm successful in applying.
