    Don't think it is being the solution, it's part of the problem.

    This seems like a classic multimonitor issue. It's about time whether it's designated as a Windows display issue, a Citrix issue or a Codemasters issue.

    If you take the second step and uninstall Citrix but leave the 2nd monitor connected, delete the hardware_settings_config.xml and try the game again, what happens?

    Also, on the primary display I take it 60Hz is the recommended refresh with it being 4K?

    There are a lot of USB issues that relate to device persistence. USBDeView is useful for clearing junk from the registry on PC too. With consoles and PCs coming ever closer, this would not surprise me if it's true. There is a specific troubleshooting step with XBox that actually doing a hard restart of the console helps. PS4 also suspends. Sometimes turning it off and on a gain cures a multitude of ills.

    Were you the host? No
    Did this issue happens for everyone in the session, just some people or just yourself? What did they see? Happened for myself and @TeenierNeilb69 although he said his was less noticeable as he caps the framerate to 60fps
    We need to be able to make your problem happen internally so we can fix the issue. Can you make the problem happen again? Yes, playing multiplayer
    How do you make the problem happen? Wait for a player to join mid-session (or leave)
    Can you add a report code. How to find this is in Main Menu > Game Options > Settings > 16 digit code in the bottom left of the screen. Please make sure that this is the code from the session you had the issue in. Adding report codes from as many users in your session as possible would be really helpful here.

    Video of the issue, including timestamps. Did you stream the session? No not livestreaming, just recording with AMD ReLive!

    Firstly tried restarting the game after the update, then rebooted the PC. We tried ranked and unranked but the glitches were persistent and the only change is the 1.13 patch @BarryBL

    You need to complete a bug report as outlined at the head of this section. But you should be aware that the wheel isn't on the official supported list as it is basically an emulated XB1 controller (where it is supported *as such*).

    VPNs don't work, and they are unsupported if you're connecting from China as you're illegally circumventing the law in your territory.

    Not to mention sync issues when the consoles don't guarantee to output a constant 60fps, never mind at the same time. Watching with interest....

    I think you need to revise what's possible. It won't be two player split screen mode with two systems and with two systems you'll need two screens.

    I've no idea what you mean by a multi-viewer 2x1 HDMI solution, you could save a lot of time by asking what is possible.

    Play 2 player mode with two pads? (Not even sure that's trouble-free).

    2 systems with 2 screens can play in LAN mode (Never tried it like probably 99% of players).

    The video was with Auto ERS, try both to see if that is a cause for the difference. Also the 5 lap setting does use fuel differently to the other distances.

    When you are on the pit limiter it makes sense to change the fuel mix to Lean as it makes no difference to the speed of the car.

     I did follow your advice and removed Avast but that didn't change anything so I delved deeper into Google and found a thread relating to the exact same issue in an Elite Dangerous forum. There, the issue was solved by writing a new Network 'Outbound' rule in Defender, blocking dasHost. I tried this and it seems to have worked, having just completed 2 hours plus game time without any issues. Whether the rule creates issues elsewhere on my Network I'll just have to wait and see and, to be honest, I have recently remembered that at about the time I installed all the Quest and VR software, I also installed a new printer on my network so that could have also been a contributing factor.

    Kudos for the humour. I'll take the free trial 🙂

    Audio driver DCH please remove the HDA driver before updating to this UAD variant.

    LAN driver

    DDU safe mode and reinstall the driver without internet

    Delete the hardware_settings_config.xml make sure you use TAA not checkerboard (***?) consider a framerate cap

    You might want to uninstall One Drive if you don't use / need.

    Disconnect the Elgato stuff until you have troubleshooted the game.

    Update the Logitech receiver with SetPoint then uninstall it. If you can troubleshoot with a standard wired keyboard and / or mouse please do.

    If customers of Codemasters just keep eating the **** they shovel infront of you without complaining or raising a point, I feel that term fits perfectly. And even so next year with 2K is taking reigns with their monetization system.

    The circuit gets the Grade 1 certification (actually from the country's own host motorsport body) and the FIA accept their grading as meeting Grade 1 standards.

    The layouts have to meet the specification of a Grand Prix circuit, i.e. minimum length of 3.5km / lap, so some variants are OK (Bahrain)

    CoTA has a 3.7km 'National' layout but it's not certified and it's nothing like the CoTA Short in the F1 games. Neither is Silverstone Short an 'official' configuration (it's recognised as International / Southern, most alternate layouts are the National) and Suzuka Short is Suzuka East and it's too short for F1.
