The car not stopping and the tyres screeching not enough? 🙂

22 hours ago, rigomanu81 said:So..it seems there is not chance to find a decent pedal configuration wit no assistance help (ie. Abs or traction control). Is it possible? Is hw limitations or game limitations or both?
Cheers
The recommended pedal settings are 0. No assists.
If you don't reach 100% throttle when fully depressed or the throttle response is slow or a long way down the pedal, increase the saturation.
If you are finding you are heavy footed and / or the throttle is too sensitive increase the linearity (maybe technique, 0% throttle means off the pedal).
Same for the brake, not getting 100% or want more braking from less travel, increase saturation. (Bear in mind car setup Brake Pressure and / or balance can have the same effect if it's not pedal effort or travel you are chasing).
Brake too sensitive or too high on the pedal, increase linearity. (Same caveat).
Mods either improve pedal damping (stiffer springs, more effort required or more control) or muscle memory (load cell, effort beyond throw or travel), change the pedal angle or change the throw (range of movement).
That's all she wrote.
Mixing the two is up to you, but zero is the default.

Platform: PC
Wheel: T150 pro
Issue: Decided to make the move from a gamepad to a race wheel. While a lot of fun, right away one thing I'm struggling with is that I don't get any vibration under braking like I did on the triggers of the gamepad. There's absolutely no way to know when I'm at the braking limit. I was trying to figure out of it was my wheel, the settings or if it's just not available and I can't find a clear answer. It seems like the game just doesn't give that feedback to the wheel. Can I have confirmation on this?
Trigger rumble is not replicated on a wheel. #PadHacks 🙂

Use Geek Uninstaller to remove GHub then reinstall it. Could be a registry mess up.

sorry for answering late.
My motherboard is in rev 1.0.
But some news: I finally received my new graphic card (ordered more than 1 month ago!), and it seems to be ok!
The topic is, for now, solved! Thank you for ypur fast help guys, really appreciate.
CroustiZ.
What card did you get? There are a few R7/R9 issues with the game it would seem unless the card is high end.

It looks like your Terodo is disabled like mine and there is an IP4 external address. Can you disable IPv6 function in your router?

This is a GHub issue. Update GHub to the latest version to fix the issue.

QuoteWe’ve always been conscious that not everyone who plays the game is massively time rich, so taking part in an entire season, while also doing full race weekends, is very time-consuming. To give players more choice and flexibility in how they play their seasons they can choose to do a 22, 16 or 10-race season. The player will have the option to pick which tracks they want to race in each season and can edit that list in each subsequent season. It will also help new players who might struggle on circuits such as Baku and Monaco. Players can now pick a season based on their skill level and add tougher circuits as they improve.
Has he an idea about how long the lockdown will last?! We are time rich at the present, a lot of us....
Or you can put together the season that actually transpires! 🙂
Does he mean "street circuits are pants"? Or does he mean, "we know these circuits actually make players vomit" 😄

Would love to be able to do a new PC build that can play the latest AAA games at high graphics setting, has a SSD for the OS and games, HDD for everything else, and another HDD on a RAID 1 setting to mirror backup those 2 drives, if that's technically possible. Need to save for a new steering wheel now cos one of the shift paddles internal switch is broken. I drive AUTO now, instead of manual....bummer.
In any case, my issue with the game has more or less been resolved just with upgrading to Win 10, so if the moderators want to, they can go ahead and close this thread. Thanks to all who contributed to the solution.
Using W8.1 is a road of pain, so glad you decided to make the jump!

8 minutes ago, dembekPL said:@steviejay69 I tried I think all the things from the list. Have found similar one in polish forum yesterday. Unfortunately none of it worked. I would simply turn off teredo deinstall it and reinstall it, but I can't because I don't have it in devices manager.
The same goes in install window:
The same goes in install Nonetheless thank all for tying to help.
@dembekPL what happens at the command prompt? The tutorial gives something like this netsh interface Teredo show state
This is what mine gives (obviously I don't need Teredo as my ISP doesn't use IPv6).
If it is a setting in your router to disable IPv6, try it? I don't know who your ISP is and if they support IPv6 (only).
Tag me if you need a further reply, please. Thanks.

Replicated every time and added as a bug for the developers.
In terms of solutions, I'd expect to see it changed in 2020 👍

Also, i've been haveing this issue since like january so i don't really think its an issue with the drivers. Anyway i will revert to 442.74 and see if that works.
Thnks for the replays.
What I mean is GFN will 'optimise' your in-game settings. Pick what YOU want for high FPS or most eye candy. Actually 445.98 is now released and supposed to fix the issues, so please test that before reverting to 442.74 if required.
Please tag me for further replies.

All these problems are due to permissions, which would be already set up if ran from proper servers, but all codies have are game services running, so it's peer to peer, if you haven't got permission to connect to host, you can't.
It's a problem of lazy devs and cheapskate ceos
@pachedupdemon Never anything constructive to add. It is the easiest thing in the world to be critical. Maybe we should all give up?
@dembekPL are you using a VPN? If you are, this is known to affect connectivity as some services are not carried over a VPN link depending on the VPN tech.
However, if not here is a link to a guide to try to fix Teredo.
https://windowsreport.com/teredo-is-unable-to-qualify-fix/ (this is not a suggestion to download or install Restoro)
Basically IPv6 has been the future for some time and remains "the future". Obviously I have no idea of your router or ISP. Suffice to say in the UK my ISP does not support IPv6, so IPv4 is used.

Please fill out a bug report and post a dxdiag.

Update motherboard drivers before carrying out BIOS update. Reboot after installation.
Realtek HDA driver
MSI B350 GAMING PRO Beta BIOS (Update includes latest AGESA).
Our reporting test pool is small but if you DDU and reinstall 445.98?
You are overdriving the monitor at 70Hz (at 1920x1080 60Hz is the supported refresh rate). Use V-SYNC and 60Hz.

Have you checked out the troubleshooting? I hear they sell consoles. PC is a moving target, always the best potential and realisation but occasionally a PITA.

1 hour ago, KoraBGR said:Hello everyone,
Since a few days I've got the mentioned audio issue. I've tried multiple fixes I've found on the steam and codemasters forums, but no one fixes that issue, so I need some solution. The problem is present on my headphones (Logitech G533) and also on my Speakers that are plugged on the motherboard with 3.5 mm jack. The sound on other games it works fine without any problems on both devices.
Thank you in advance.
The G533 is another USB sound device, 7.1 audio has been known to cause issues. However, as this device is wireless, you may wish to try adjusting the audio settings in LGS
https://support.logi.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360025175894--FAQ-G533-Wireless-Gaming-Headset
Please try disabling the 7.1 surround.
If you post a dxdiag I could take a look at driver updates for audio.
There are also some reports of users having stutter when using different audio sample rates. Please try 16 and / or 24-bit 44100 / 48000Hz settings. (Control Panel|Sound|Playback|Properties|Advanced).
Also, the in-game advanced audio settings allow you to select different audio update rates. Please try them with respect to your game FPS (as well as the settings that shouldn't necessarily work well) IIRC the presets are Low / Medium (default) / High.

1 hour ago, pachedupdemon said:You got lucky, it's pot luck maybe something out of all the things you said would work
Like I said, step up. All the other suggestions generally either improve or optimise things anyway. And if you have a known issue, solving the actual issue may not yield results if the known issues are not fixed.

I am assuming you have done the updating of the DD1 controller because I don't see it in the dxdiag (correct me if I am wrong)?
The G35 is a USB connected headset with 7.1 surround. 7.1 surround has been known to cause issues with the game. Update the LGS and GHub, updating the headset where possible. If you can try it with 7.1 mode turned off that might be helpful. Unlike some other headsets the USB is not a dongle, the headset is wired directly to USB and cannot be used in (audio) jack mode.
If you could post your board make and model that would also be helpful.
The dxdiag shows there is a secondary display detected as a Microsoft Basic Render Driver. This is a little unusual, but it could be an issue. Make sure the Radeon VII is the selected GPU in the in-game settings (Game Options|Graphics Settings|Video Mode).
We don't have any major reported issues with Radeon VII but I cannot attest to any of the drivers as I use RX580 which is a different product line entirely. This would need feedback from other Radeon VII users.

7 minutes ago, Patatalo said:Yeah I have a G430 and when I plug in Jack it works well.
How can I disable it ?
Just use the headphones as you are with the jack plugs, the surround options only come from using the dongle. But they would be configuarble in GHub or Windows Sound.
-
@Patatalo there have been issues with the HyperXCloud II and Logitech G430 USB dongles and many bluetooth headsets and cheap CMI USB dongles. Best suggestion is to use those headsets without the dongle for this title. And if you do use them, apply any official firmware updates via the companion software.
One workaround is not to use surround sound with this title.
-
If you have updated the firmware on your wheelbase (and have the correct drivers on PC), I would check out the Fanatec forums.
Some games require 3rd party software for full compatibility. But it would help if you would post which wheel and base you are using and on what platform.

Is there even any possibillities to play F1 2010 these days?
Absolutely. It is available for X360 or PS3. On PC it's possible as long as you can get the GFWL download working AFAIK (someone asked this recently).
