I am on version 1.22. I have reinstalled the game but it did not work.
Also I tried switching from manual to automatic and the car just stays in first gear.
Filling in a bug report helps us with platform. But, I suggest updating the firmware in the T150 Pro.

I'm thinking if my graphics card is starting to die. Except F1 games, all games are running but occasionally some artifacts appears. How can I test if it is a hardware problem?
Use Furmark.
I can't really tell from your dxdiag what make and model your R7 370 4GB is.
Hopefully, this is close enough
I used Arctic Cooling MX4 on my RX580. The TIM was like a pad often found on laptop GPU/CPUs that is totally useless once it's been heated a few times. MX4 is grease, and it doesn't become less effective, doesn't dry out and doesn't go off and make a mechanical bond to the chip (can cause difficulty or damage when revisiting, not that I've needed to revisit MX4 (or MX2 for that matter).

It's no coincidence that DLSS 2.0 support was added to 445.75 and higher. This probably caused the issue with F1 2019.
But yeah DLSS has to be implemented / enabled by Codemasters; before anyone starts, it's not a bug. It's an unsupported feature (like VR).

it would appear that buttons 10, 3 and MODE should be the key combo. Hold 10 & 3 with two fingers of one hand then press the MODE with the other hand.
If this does not work I would check the firmware was updated to v55 and use the default wheel rather than the Open Wheel rim.
It may just be that because the Open Wheel came out after the TX base that the update lacks this function. If you really can't achieve it, drop TM a tech support email, they may be able to check or fix it for the next TX firmware.

Lets hope nvidia and/or codies are on top of this by the time the next game rolls out, the number one feature should be "a whole year of rock solid stability!"
CM owes STEVIEJAY69 all the beer 🍺
I would only drink it. 🙂
I think it's an Nvidia fix required.
Here it is pinned as a Known Issue on the 445.87 feedback thread.

@NickVanAelst the solution is pinned to the top of the forum. Please also read the instructions about posting *genuine* bug reports.
It would be more effective use of my time not to have to tell people this!

@Pikok can you complete the same information as in this post? (I have asked for the threads to be merged with @Fusobhz
Also TTRS_2020_1 with firmware v5

The problem persist
Download USBDeView, unzip and right-click 'Run as Administrator'. From the Options menu, untick the 'Show Disconnected Devices' checkmark. Click any item in the (smaller) list of devices, then hit [CTRL] & [A], all the devices in the list turn blue. From the File menu, pick 'Save Selected Items', save the resulting text file (as e.g. 'myusbdeview.txt') then post it here.
Thanks.

Uninstall it and then refresh / reload the page. Clear the browser cache if it does the same.

Can you remove InputMapper 1.6 please?
Also try the HyperX Cloud II unplugged. Use system audio.

Fortunately, it's an out of the box system by Acer
Update GPU driver to 442.74
Run the Intel Driver and Support Assistant install any updates it prompts for.

Can't see the OSW on the supported devices list.

Okay, so that's another vote for MS being right. No issues (at least, it's not the problem).
Post a dxdiag and I'll see if there's any obvious updates you could try.
-
3 minutes ago, iasonstv said:Okay, I will try that. Is there any particular reason behind that?
Some are saying it causes instability and loss of internet, etc.
You can uninstall it and easily re-install if there is no change. Microsoft are not aware of issues but it seems fairly random. It did not install cleanly for me (on the gaming PC) and although I can find no problem with Windows, F1 was a bit broken immediately after but reloading my graphics driver and toggling some settings got things happier.
I'd removed the facilty to go back, so if you go back and report I'll understand if there is real substance in the claims.

You should try W10 18363.720, uninstall any newer updates, e.g. KB4549951

The 445.87 is not recommended for F1 2019. 442.74 is okay.
Check the Default Device and Default Communications device is set as the G430 in Windows 10.
Go to the advanced audio and set the Logitech G430 as the default output device in-game.

In a simple game (in which the drawing and physics are on a different core for instance) the game/physics side could be running at 25% the speed thanks to the CPU not being quick enough, while the drawing side is completely fine.
Yes but when this is happening on CPUs that exceed the minimum and even the recommended spec then there's something rotten in Denmark (or Finland for that matter 🙂 )
Do you not think that at this point there is something amiss in the game engine? Because I can think of no other explanation.

However, I did get RKO'd (not naming names 😄) and did leave the lobby. If anyone can confirm maybe if they ran into any FPS drops form our (albeit) small sample size, it would be useful here.
@UP100 @1512marcel @steviejay69 @massa88 anything? I can ask in the thread too.
This does happen in Unranked, but so far our Championship lobbies have been League which seems entirely less stable. Maybe we will have more on Friday, but it's not every time. It's completely random and frustrating but often enough that it simply can't be ignored.
If we took a quick poll before the race on Friday if people can post a Speedtest to London (including you @BarryBL) and indicate whether they are playing wired or wireless that would help to quantify things.
Edit: most users complain if they are at over 60FPS. The game seems to keep the FPS rate but it runs much lower and stutters. ALT-TAB seems to have an effect but you really need to pit to do it safely. I guess if you are a long way away from others on track the AI can do a job while you return.

I do beg your pardon, I hadn't watched the actual video as I've encountered stacking before, but that was more than lacklustre! Love the last guy from the pit crew sloping off as the car stops 🙂
-
The other thing I noticed was the distance. This is 0m distance, the car is 4m long so does the limit only apply when the whole car is in the lane? I don't think you win races by having the whole of the car over the finish line (another potential anonmaly in the F1 rules?) 43.1 says AT THE LINE, says nothing about crossing it entirely and I've only ever seen photo finishes use noses in horse racing (F1 has had a 0.010s win - 1971 Italy, but no photos were used. Many races were under 1 second margin).
-
2 minutes ago, Bicarda said:@BarryBL was this bug report not to your liking? 😞
It is more of a suggestion than a bug report. But I agree something needs to improve in the pit logic, especially unsafe release should apply and cars shouldn't bang and glitch into each other.
-
Should really be if you hit the retire button before reaching the stop the car should drive into the garage (can be cutscene) or be animated like a practice or qualifying pitstop to return the car to it's jacks in the garage.
If you hit the button after the stop has begun the car should pull off the live lane and stop past the last garage and you get the usual on-track retirement cutscene.

6 minutes ago, EyTschej said:Thanks for your reply. However, as I thought I had explained in my post, the issue was not with my microphone, but with the PTT mode/key. It appears that the "speech indicator" in the top-right of the screen only appears in this game when you press the PTT key AND actually say something at the same time. So that's already the solution to this issue, just wanted to let everyone know who also ran into this supposed issue. Usually, when you have PTT and a speech indicator, the indicator lights up as soon as you hit the PTT key, or at least that's what I'm used to from other games/tools - and that caused my confusion. Sorry about that.
Just one thing though: Why does this game not include a microphone test so we can configure the volume levels of both voice-chat input and output?!? Some players can barely be heard and I have no idea if other players can hear me, because no-one responded to me so far. 😉
Some players have the lobby muted but not their own mic. Sometimes this is purely through ignorance, can be webcams or just updating drivers can change the default source.
Steam voice chat leaves a lot to be desired. I would prefer if the game had an option to turn the bandwidth off entirely, because you can use a dedicated chat server instead. Those who stay muted and deaf anyway could use the bandwidth for their connection to the other players (slight or negligible though it may be).
As far as in-game goes I have the PTT enabled and no key mapped. I always mute the lobby as soon as I join a MP session.
Anyway, maybe the speech indicator is only registering because otherwise those on open mic would be showing all the time, making it harder to distinguish who is actually speaking.
TS-XW with F1 wheel

@Fusobhz the other user reported deleting any custom control schemes in-game.
Disconnect the wheel, go into the in-game, remove any custom control schemas.
Exit the game, delete the hardware_settings_config.xml, reattach the wheel. Check for 100% operation and wheel rotation / DOR in Thrustmaster CP.
Launch the game, hopefully the wheel is redetected and if you try it before saving custom mappings.
Once you have verified all the buttons work and the steering is normal, only then try the custom mappings.
Please complete the steps in the post above, it will be useful to me for clarification going forward, it is all I ask in thanks.
