but the difference is, i can play the game before, after i shut down the PC last night and then turn it on again in this morning, start from steam and then files f1 2019 dx12 (if i not wrong) is gone..
tried validate games from steam many times has no effect it still gone.

my pc specs, just in case
    i5 8600k
    nvidia 1070ti version 445.75

    2x8gb RAM

If you HAVE launched the game before, try deleting the hardware_settings_config.xml. Also check you have not enabled 'Protected Folder Access' in Windows Security.

Yup, already using Logitech Gaming software 5.10.

Clean install of Win 10? How do I do that? Rerun the "MediaCreationTool1909" again?

Yeah but you create the bootable media on a USB then boot from it from the Advanced Restart menu.

    Back **** up first.

I ran another dxdiag after disabling the bluetooth adapter and this is what I got.

    DxDiag2.txt

OK. You are still running 445.75 which we have flagged as being problematic.

Logitech Gaming software 5.10 is the latest for your wheel. Switching between wheel and keyboard will leave the buttons relabelled and/or possibly missing mappings. Not sure if MOMO is on the official support list (you should check).

There are a couple of crashes due to tools linked to cracked games. A clean installation of Windows 10 now you have the digital licence might solve a hatful of minor and major issues.

Ok so i enabled vsync. I unpluged the Tv and it was still crashing. I tried dx 11 also crash. Then i noticed something weird. When online, even though I had my audio set on my speakers when other people spoke I heard them in my headphones. So i unplugged my usb g430 logitech headphones and now i played for like 5 hours without a crash. Could it be that my headphones were causing the problem? I had some usb problems with them before. They were appearing and disappearing like they can't connect before and they also randomly stopped working in csgo sometimes.

Anyhow after 20+ in game hours with crashes and frustration I think I can finally play.

Thanks for all the help. You are doing gods work here, helping nubs like me.

Yes the Logitech USB sound device cause issues for some, just as some Bluetooth headsets cause issues for others.

Nothing unfortunately is definitive; due to the lack of a combination of numbers with similar or identical hardware and a lack of complete or collated feedback.

    Hi @BarryBL

Like we said the issue is a connectivity issue. I found the fix, but is a very strange this problem because i don't change my network configuration from years, but I think the issue comes with anyone of the patchs of F1 2019 or with a patch of Windows 10.

The first I tested is installing the F1 2019 in my laptop only to test if game enters on lobby and with the laptop I entered on lobby without problems. This behaviour discard a problem with the router or the network of ISP, the problem is with te desktop PC.

After test on laptop I centered on desktop PC and the network configuration (Parameters, Firewall). Disabling Firewall i get the same error. For my job I have multiple networks in the same net, for this I have multiple IP configurations. My first static configuration is the IPv4 Configuration for internet network. In addicional IPv4 IPs I have different subnets for access to all my devices on different networks. For test I delete all IPs additional and I configure only the static configuration for internet network, and after that I can enter on Lobby. The strange behaviour is I don't change my network configuration from 2018 at least, for that I think the problem comes from a patch, but I don't know it if from F1 2019 or Windows10.

I only describe all the process for anyone that have the same behaviour for fix it.

If you need more data for your technical department Is a pleasure for me to help you.

    Best Regards.

Yes you better give more detail as that isn't an explanation of either what you had or what you changed.

For reference I reverted to 441.12 driver (oldest I could get on NVidia.com) and tested with Highest graphics presets back on, only to have it crash again. So its not the driver (wondering if I should excuse the pun here:) ).

Have tried two other things, without a crash so far, but I have not had much time to play the game so can't be sure. Will reply with what worked (or didn't) once I know better - probably this weekend.

    I definitely recommend 442.74

So I managed to upgrade my Windows to Win 10 and the game did launch, but I encountered new issues with it.

During gameplay, most of the time it would be fine except sometimes the "labels" indicating which keyboard character to press to select items would be missing. For eg, F5 and F6 to move between tabs, "Enter" to advance etc......the F5 and F6 or "Enter" would be missing from the screen. Doesn't happen all the time, but it does occur quite frequently.

But the more regularly issue happens when I go to replay the highlights. The highlights run fine, I can scroll between drivers and views, but when it reaches the end, I can't use "Esc" to exit the replay and go back to the session advance screen. The game doesn't appear to have hung but none of the keys work. I have exit the game entirely using Task Manager and then restart the game.

I do notice a "Report Code" at the bottom left corner, and it says "RKMG-SMPK-AEBH-SDEE".

What is the 'Realtek Bluetooth A/V Remote Control Target Device' in your dxdiag?

Generally if you press keyboard the game keeps the keys labelled. If you use another input device, they switch.

    Hi Barrybl,

Thanks for your fast answer, yes  the car have 8th but i haven't never pass 8th gear , i forced to pass 7th but always i stay at 6th on straight line before curve.

    Have you calibrated your pedals?

Depending on the pedalset there will be software/drivers to install. These may give a control panel where you can update the wheel or set the rotation.

Simpler pedalsets calibrate in the Windows 'Devices and Printers' CP applet.

In-game it's always wise to fully press and release the pedals before assuming control (i.e. in the pitlane or before the countdown to a TT lap).

I checked Google and found many articles on mapping but noting says how to actually do it. Is it thru editing a config file or maybe on the MFD screen?

Editing the actual actionmap file that your controller uses. It's more complicated to explain here when it's been explained well enough elsewhere.

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\F1 2019\actionmaps

Hi, I’m new to F1 2019 and I’m having a hard time understanding how to set up lobbies. It’s kind of user unfriendly to figure out.

I created an unmarked lobby and I am a Spectator.

    3 lap race, no qualifying.

Very few people are showing up, like 1 per 5 minutes, and they log out again.

My “Status” column in the lobby, the row with my name, the 5 bars of the signal strength are flashing white and black.

Does it mean I have no signal? But if so, my pc is connected to the internet.

Or what does that flashing mean?

My pc is an Esports competition PC, including a half gig 500mb up / 500mb down internet connection. The internet is superfast.

What am I doing wrong here, why is no one showing up to my Unranked lobby?

I live in the heart of western Europe and it’s noon on a wednesday.

Nobody will race anyone spectating. Post a picture of the 'flashing', it's most likely you have some kind of NAT error (the reasons can be misconfigured routers, VPNs or ISP restrictions).

i came here by the green banner and will try my luck again to seek for someone who could maybe lead me to and help me solve the problem, that even after several reinstalls and driver set backs, it still doesnt even start...

If the game has NEVER started, try something like this....

If this does work please post a dxdiag (with your monitor type) and we will see if there is a common cause, might be connection.

Yes, it is odd. I can set the brake as the throttle and the clutch as the brake and it works! When I try to use the regular gas pedal it is picked up but does not work. Another 20 bucks wasted...

You need to Google "F1 2019 action maps" and edit yours. The wheel is not officially supported, but you may get some joy here.

I'm not going to mess around in the bios for this game to work. Well maybe not yet.

The other display is just my Tv conected. I'm not using it like a dual display and I heard v-sync lowers the fps. I'll try it with vsync on and tweak some settings to lower and see what happens.

With the old nvidia drivers I can sometimes even finish a race but that feeling that you know the crash is coming is terrible. Thanks for all the help but i'm starting to think its unsolvable. Is codemasters still updating this game? Maybe there is hope.

Updating the BIOS will give improvements all-round, not just in this game. It's almost a "no-lose" game.

Try disconnecting the other display if you do not use it. Modern cards can 'sense' the connection, even if the display is turned off or not selected as primary. You can always reconnect it for infrequent use.

Running with V-SYNC off just makes the card produce as many frames as it can. But, with timing an issue it is sometimes better to match the effort to the frequency the display can be updated. The benefit is the card is not making frames it can't display. There may only be an older frame in the buffer and work on another may be aborted and the work on another then be executed too late. The disadvantage is either the card sends too many frames and the display cannot sync (blanking), the visuals stutter (frames ready too early / too late) and the advantage is the card can run within a defined power state rather than being run at maximum. This can prevent borderline issues with power draw or temperature / cooling. Also efficiency is improved as the card will probably run with less average power draw, good for economy and good for longevity. Heat ages and eventually kills.

    Good Morning,
It is not possible to do the manual start correctly.
The shift lever is working correctly, I even did the test to configure it for another key and the problem is the same.
And it only shifts to first gear after the lights go out. There are also difficulties in getting out of the pits.
    This on G29 and Ps4

Just to be clear, on a manual clutch start the game has to be configured for manual start.

The procedure is to hold the clutch when prompted by the game and first gear is selected by the game when the throttle is deployed and the paddle is held.

The default mapping for the clutch is the right paddle which is double-mapped to upshift function as well.

Have you tried deleting all custom control schema profiles? After you do that, if you restart the console fully and try again.

At what point do you connect the G29 to the PS4? Have you tried another USB port?

I don't know what exactly to do with the bios. Do I just run the exe? I'm afraid i'll mess something up

File management is set to automatic, i re-installed windows.
    I downgraded the drivers.

It seemed to be working once I downgraded the drivers. It was good for a while but I started getting them again.

I don't know. Here's the new dxdiag if maybe you can spot something 😕

    DxDiag.txt

Thank you for asking about the BIOS, the only stupid questions are the ones that don't get asked. 🙂 It's a DOS-mode .exe is SPIFLASH.EXE so it won't work in Windows (you would need to create a DOS boot-disk).

Once you've extracted the .zip you only need the 78LTUB36.F2 file which you copy to the root of a FAT32 USB stick.

Use the DEL key on startup to enter the BIOS - from there use the Q-Flash utility to update the BIOS (I have checked the manual however, and can see no reference to Q-Flash but) it is usually invoked with the F8 key from the first BIOS screen (not on boot). From there you should be able to save a copy of the old BIOS (I normally save as OLDBIOS.BIN) then you can browse to the update file mentioned above and update to F2.

As for the game, use DX12. Turn V-SYNC ON and set to 60Hz. Both your displays are 60Hz, running with V-SYNC OFF has no benefit.

I use an ECCI wheel and pedals and works fine with iRacing and other racing games. I just purchased F1 2019 and tried to run and no throttle nor brake. I went to calibrate and when ready for the accel spot it recognizes the input but does not work in game. Same with brake.

Are you saving the profile when exiting the control schema? Is the wheel selected (with the tick in the controls main screen)?
