I agree. When you see teams changing wings the tyre change is a free bonus.
What had been asked for previously was a tyre or wing change without coming into the garage in practice and qualifying.

And if this should be removed to the technical section? Sorry, didn't the read the complete post. Will move it to the technical section. @steviejay69, any suggestions on this topic (Didn't search the forum yet)
I do PC support not XB1 😇
Not even sure if the game saves are in a proprietary format.
When I had a X360 things were different.
PC file systems are identical, just save locations may be different.
There’s enough to keep me occupied on the PC side of things without filling my head with console information that’s largely irrelevant and of no real use to me personally, sorry.
I wish the affected users luck and hopefully success.

Driver is here.
You could do to fill out a proper tech support request.
You should use W10 with an administrator account. Restart the PC after driver installation. Check for operation within the LGS software.
Delete the hardware_settings_config.xml before launching the game.

all getting sick of this damn steering wheel now..
my problem is doesn’t matter how I set the wheel up I’m struggling going round corners I can hit the corner same speed and sometimes I have to turn the steering wheel a lot more to get round the corner other times I don’t need to turn it as much.
example on f1 2019 azerbaijan track a corner suggest gear is 2nd which I’m in and doesn’t matter what speed or angle or if I corner cut I hit the wall. The only way I can get round the corner is to crawl round it which means losing loads of speed and losing loads of time. Is it the steering wheel, me or combination of both.
was thinking in buying another wheel ie Thrustmaster or Fanatec setup or will I have the same problem ..
cheers for any feed back or advice
You need to set the degrees of rotation (DOR) to 360 in the Logitech G-Hub.
If you are on XB1 I'm not sure what the process is, but this is where it's helpful if you read the posting guidelines and follow them. Thanks.

also dx11 or dx12 i have same lagnow i also have lag when people join in lobby
before that was only if i was host of lobbyIf it's any consolation, I have observed the lag when people leave and join, hosting or not. This would seem to be a symptom of 1.22.

It's possible your default sound source changed (either sound or communications) during a driver or Windows update.
Check/set the device in-game after updates.

Try the High preset and cap frames. Post your dxdiag and the hardware_settings_config.xml

It would be sweet if we were able to use the multiplayer spec cars in offline play. Especially if you live in North America, it can be difficult to find people online to practice with after work as the community is smaller and having access to the cars offline would help a lot of us out.
In addition, it would be sweet if you could add a practice mode with the gp/multiplayer cars to go in and lap/work on setups. Give us unlimited tires in that mode, and let us lap on our own. TimeTrial is okay, but the cars handle differently and the setup goals are different.
Thanks!
Fluffy.AFAIK you can use the multiplayer cars in a practice session, just use the Unranked option. Unfortunately the game will not progress to Qualifying or Race unless there is at least another human player (or it's not Multiplayer).
Grand Prix mode would be that if the equal performance were enabled but all the sessions are F1 2019 performance as it's (probably) just a mode based on the career race at that track without any car development.

You need to game the game, I feel. Setups aren't very realistic or quantifiable. But whatever gives you confidence or you have confidence in (whether you can feel what is going on or not). It might mean your controls are not very realistic. The in-game options might not necessarily the ones that look the best that give the best feel or speed. This might apply to controls as well.
You need to exploit the track limits and be prepared to not look very smooth (whether this is the effect of spectator cams I'm not entirely sure). The use of the gears is quite important in knowing when to hold a gear, when to downshift, how to use the downshift to help rotate the car and how to use short-shifting to balance traction vs wheelspin.
I'm generally in the same bracket as you 2-3 seconds off the very best when at my very best. The best are consistent, know how to micro-manage the ERS in races and best use of fuel load and mix usage.
Me - I try to be smooth, like the game to look nice, I pray for feel and don't like to mess with the controls too much. Perhaps that's why I'm slower.

14 minutes ago, psychomb said:Well, first of all I definitely activated it on PS4 in the 7 days free trial (since last wednesday I played it and it was 18 march) but there's no sign of 30 days license.
Now it's just a trial.
Second, F1 send email on friday. So why would it be needed to activate the license between 10-19 march?
Anyway, what F1.com wrote is not true, and that's what I was asking.
Codemasters could give us some F1 2019 anyway...
I'm not saying what you did or didn't do. All I was stating is what info I could find on the Steam.db
I wasn't privvy to the email, so can't speak for that. If you can forward a draft to yourself, edit out your email address and save to .eml format and upload here then I'd be interested to take a look.
Nobody has to give you anything, the person giving away the content has to decide whether they think they want to or not.

20 hours ago, Brummi10 said:I ran at higher settings up unil three weeks ago, running at around 120 FPS. In the full multiplayer lobby it went even lower than 90 I'm pretty sure, sadly I did not check FPS back then because I did not know about the issue until then. I checked after the race what FPS I usually have and that then showed 120. Also I am pretty damn sure that in that race it was even lower then 90 FPS because it looked and felt terrible. That is why I went for low graphics settings, I hoped it would help.
When it is at 90FPS and looks terrible it is a problem with fullscreen, focus, overlays, etc. Pause the game and ALT-TAB out then in, see if that cures it.

20 hours ago, Brandtair said:I thought it may be a steam problem but reinstalling the game gave me the exact same result what makes me think a file is missing in the supplies program. The error i get to see after freshly installing the game and after the last update is the following. In Dutch it says: A error has occured during updating F1 2019 (locked content file) : "Path on the computer to the program".
Does anybody have experience with this and/or has the solution?
My suggestion is that you should have the Steam files stored to C:\ and that should be your system disc.
It is also possible, but not detectable from your screenshot that if the D:\ drive is (or mis-detected as) removable that this might be the issue.

@UglyDressedGuy and @anwope76 a direct message to Codemasters customer service will get a better response than posting here.
Please be prepared to share your keys and where you purchased them. You may need to try to find redress at those stores too.
FYI the game version 1.08 and 1.8.0 are interchangeable. PC is also 1.8.0 but I think the 1.08 might be the XBox layout?
It's patch level 8 either way.

I don't think it exists, the weight limits are increased for the additional tech, so it is almost impossible to reduce the weight below the minimum limit and have significant ballast.
Probably decisions on where to locate, mount and fundamental design principles are all that can be used to find a good car balance, that they have to work with across the various tracks.

Also looking at your manual, the G29 should be plugged into the USB 2.0 ports on the rear panel (either above the PS/2 port or above the IEE1394 & e-SATA ports). Front panel USB are OK if connected to the F_USB1 - F_USB_4 ports.
The different connector F_USB30 is controlled by the Etron Chip and the ports under the LAN port on the rear panel are as well (so only use them for simple devices like mice or keyboards if ports are short).
As far as SATA connections go, the HDD should connect to SATA3_0 (or SATA3_1) and the DVD-RW to SATA2_2 (or SATA2_3 or SATA2_4). Avoid using the GSATA3_5 and GSATA3_6 ports as they are controlled by the Marvell chip.
As referenced by the manual section 2_6 you can then disable these resources if not used. You can (should) set the Z68 native SATA mode to AHCI.

I'll play with Very Low in 1280x720sorry if i posted in the wrong place
No. It might work, but the frame rates will be horrible and you run the risk of swapping RAM to disk.
I couldn't even run F1 2012 very well on a G2120 but the test rig didn't have a discrete GPU.

Crossplatform matchmaking is not yet available.
It's on the alternative reality wishlist for when they fix the game first.
tl/dr - No, sorry.

Looking at SteamDB the free period ended 19 March 2020 (running from 10 March) so I'd guess if it wasn't activated in this timeframe it's not 30 days licence.

180FPS is low for that combo, especially on Low settings.
Why not run it at the recommended settings? You can run the high preset comfortably.

Basically: A bug is found -> Solution is found -> If it's not both minor and at the end of support -> Fixed. Sadly this is not how it works as many issues, especially multiplayer ones, are a huge pain to solve. Though with the addition of EGO Dumper etc. should help with crashes at least.
I'm not Codies, but I'd be great if you could help with the bug reporting by checking out the Technical Assistance forums 🙂
I realise you have some kind of role here but trying to defend the indefensible, you should really just shut up. And I missed a word out somewhere.

I think Ant Davidson had the best experience. Check his Twitter.
A split lobby and the other times phoned in by AI. It looks like he had more fun than the rest of them.
I hope there is some kind of mitigation for the shovelfull-show that was served up. Like an actual patch that fixes bugs without creating more.
I was embarrassed for the hosts having to talk ad-lib for 25 minutes while the not even half the not BAH GP was served. If it was Masterchef the judges would have walked out and the hosts would have hyperventilated from too much talking.
And even I couldn't stop laughing at all the cover-up bulldung they then had to come up with not to call the game out for what it is.
I'd say you were taking LIBERTYs but truth be told they weren't watching because you paid the cheques in on time.
Bravo!

Won’t change understeer just how you feel it.
Been racing with it off for a bit compared to having it on.
Would say having it on you knew why you were losing time!
