If I were to predict a line up, I would go for something like this:
Presenter: Suzi Perry.
Pundits: David Coulthard, Susie Wolff and a non-racing driver, but not Eddie Jordan. Maybe Mark Hughes? At least I hope so, he'd be very insightful.
Commentators: Jack Nicholls and David Coulthard.
Pit Reporter: Someone we haven't heard of.
C4 (as far as I'm aware) seem to like to want to attract a younger audience, and getting someone like Jack Nicholls (who I think is 25) as lead commentator would certainly be a good move. I've said it before, but the man is pure quality, he'd be such a good addition to F1 TV coverage in the UK.
I reckon C4 are gonna do some sort of weekly magazine show as well, perhaps on a Tuesday evening for 30 minutes or something, similar to the midweek report that Sky F1 currently do. -

Channel 4 announce their F1 plans already. -
Channel 4 to show Formula 1 for the next 3 years! 10 live races, and they will all be without any ad breaks. http://www.channel4.com/info/press/news/channel-4-becomes-terrestrial-home-of-formula-1?hootPostID=dde274dfb372ab4d0ede906f68a35e34 -
So I went to see Star Wars last night, I won't give away anything for those who haven't seen it yet, but even for me as a relative non-Star Wars fan, it was bloody good. CGI is superb.

Well I know ITV were a bit crap at times but at least it's still on free-to-air in the UK. ITV have actually got a fantastic motorsport presence now with Formula 1, MotoGP, Formula E, World Rally Championship, BTCC, Isle of Man TT, etc.
To be honest, I actually think ITV won't put ad breaks in their live races, and if they did I think they'd only do it if there was a Safety Car period. They don't put adverts in the Formula E races and they last 45 minutes, and that's on ITV 4. -
Well to be fair to Lewis, he missed the Autosport Awards because he was invited to an event in the US by the President. I know this because I saw it on his Snapchat at the time, but it would be a great shame if he couldn't make the SPOTY. He's surely favourite again to win. -
I thought that chair was on the perfect balancing point for a few seconds! Then realized the little wall behind where it's resting haha
But nice balls.
And @Mexicola, funny you post that, I read that yesterday as it happens! He makes it sound like the most immersive thing you'll ever get to do. -
Oh wow that's cool! How did that come about then? -
I loved the 2011 HRT livery, one of the best from my recent memory, just a shame they had no sponsors.
I hope Haas just surprise everyone and go for orange or something. -
Good job Prawn! And Willyams too, complete with a cheeky sneaky phallic shape on the trophy!
I'm glad I can take away the award for biggest winning margin at Austria, that was very cool at the time :p
And thanks again Chris for running it! -
Super photos man, always been nice to look through them all whenever you post new ones up, looks like you've had a fantastic year! -

This was my last purchase. Worth every penny. -
Yeah DapperLaughs can piss off, I don't find him funny at all. -
I don't mind it, I've just never been able to get into it, the music is epic though.fIsince08 said:
I didn't think you liked Star Wars?MBKF1 said:
Film soundtracks don't get enough credit, they can completely transform a film.Platy said:The films and everything are great, but the music is what gives me the chills. Such an amazing soundtrack.
It sounds stupid but in that particular trailer, the bit that gives me the chills isn't any of the music in the actual trailer, it's the bit at 2.02 where it just says 'Star Wars'.
Firstly it's an E major chord (probably my favourite note), and the horn melody is just so good. The whole balance of the chord is spot on, amazing bass and then subtle strings at the top.
Oh god yes. -
Stumbled across this rather epic Ayrton Senna illustration just now.
Ayrton Ayrton AYRRRRTON SENNA DO BRASIL! -

Damn if only I got a solid 184 from the last round! -
Unfortunately I don't! That would be so funny though :pHughesy said:@MBKF1 Do you have the power to changes names? Change all the Aussies name to something funny, that would be amazing! -
What a fantastic idea fellow 'bastard', who do you have in mind?mike96 said:
Yeah it's Tom. By the way mr "Bastard" perhaps you could ban a few people from posting at this forum? :p ;)MBKF1 said:He used to be called Tom M or something, ridiculously fast at the F1 games. Shame he's not here posting any more.
I'm thinking maybe that sly Aussie pairing. -

I reckon it won't be the same as it has been unfortunately. GP2 has worked so well because it isn't an FIA run championship. I can only see the FIA introducing a load of stupid rules to make it duller. -
It is quite tempting to officially warn Matt for saying that, not gonna lie. -
Oh wow that's quite interesting. I obviously have no idea of the area at all, I just looked at the Google aerial map and got to work designing :p

Thought I'd share this with you guys. Over at the /r/RaceTrackDesigns subreddit, they are running a little competition called 'Chaos in New York' where you have to design a facility at a place called Barren Island.
We had to design a facility that can host Formula 1, MotoGP, NASCAR and drag racing. The rules are quite strict in terms of what you can and can't do, and the facility has to meet various standards by FIA/FIM, etc.
So this is what I came up with!
Click the image to see a higher res version, but hopefully the illustration can speak for itself. I may upload a timelapse video of me creating it on my iPad if I have time.
