Well I got Renault scoring more points than Ferrari totally wrong! And Sebastian Vettel 'just' scoring more points than Kvyat was wrong too. -
I never used Excel when I did it, just good old pen and paper and a physical calculator!
And that's probably why it took me so long to do the results. -
Forgot to predict so it's my Brazil predictions for this round.

Thanks Chris for organising it this year! I know how much time it takes to calculate results and everything so I appreciate it! -
They have done a very good job at getting the growl of the engine on the downshifts. Sounds fantastic! -
I'm at uni so I only have a part time job, on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons'. It's a very nice little job, it pays well, but the hours are so varied. Like in September I worked 0 hours, then 21 hours in October, 18 this month and then 2 next.
Fortunately for me, my Grandad runs his own company so whenever I have a free morning or afternoon I can go there and earn a few extra bob. -
Yes, this post sums it up for me too, I couldn't agree more. As you say, Herbert's 'analysis' is utterly rubbish, and Crofty is getting tiring for me now. And even Ted's bias towards Hamilton is quite annoying, like When he asked Niki Lauda after Brazil Qualifying, he said 'something must have been wrong with Lewis' car'. It's like he wants the public to know who the real fastest driver supposedly is.VetteIfan said:If they could just replace Crofty it would fix a lot of things. The Sky pre and post race shows are unwatchable Hamilton or no Hamilton, because Johnny Herbert couldn't offer "insightful analysis" if his life depended on it. But during the race, for the most part Brundle and Kravitz aren't too bad, so without Crofty the Hamilton circle jerk would be mostly absent.
Although it's also quite obvious that Ted Kravitz has quite a big thing for Kimi. He always tries to hype up his race when in reality it's most of the time going nowhere. He also wrote in a recent article that he's around a tenth behind Vettel, and around 2-3 tenths behind Alonso. You don't need me to tell you that both those figures are very fictional.
And yeah, he's always said he has a thing for Kimi, but that's annoying too.
On a brighter note though, Simon Lazenby has really grown on me. I wasn't keen on him at first but over the last four years he has got better and better and he does a very nice job of presenting, even though he can be a bit quiet at times (you can tell this if he suddenly brings the mic up towards him).
I've said it before and I'll say it again, but I think Sky's analysis team is lacking an insight from someone who wasn't an ex-F1 driver. That's why the BBC pairing of DC and Eddie works so well. They have that driver view which is supported from another angle by an ex-team principal. The Sky coverage is literally all ex-F1 drivers, and their extras are always ex-F1 drivers too, like Anthony Davidson, Paul di Resta, Bruno Senna, Jolyon Palmer, for example.
They could do with someone like Mark Hughes perhaps, who has a very good eye for the technical stuff. Just another view on things would be useful.
I'd love it if Jack Nicholls was lead commentator come 2017, I think he'd bring a very fresh look to the commentary, and he's pretty young too which is good.

Moderator WAHEY I CAN CONTROL ALL OF YOU WITH A SINGLE CLICK MWAHAHAHA -
I donate all my money (£3.24) to kind Nigerian Prince. -
Yeah very good choice, I just hope they can fill out the huge grandstand full of fans. -
A pretty interesting fact I read the other day, if Raikkonen scores one more point than Bottas in Abu Dhabi then the top 10 in the championship will finish in team by team order. (So Mercs, Ferraris, etc)
Shows how important the car is this year... -
McLaren are looking a bit thin on sponsors aren't they.
Also, where's that Chandon sponsorship McLaren recently got? Remember they signed that deal the same time they re-signed Button, yet that sponsorship is nowhere to be seen on the cars.
-
Yeah I'm honestly getting a bit tired of the Sky coverage. I even watched the race on BBC today because I was fed up of listening to Crofty.
I think Sky should hire Jack Nichols, he's an absolute pro on the Formula E commentary, and I've listened to one of his F1 commentaries too when I've been out and about listening on radio. He's very knowledgeable, understandable to listen to, enthusiastic, he'd be a great lead commentator on the TV. -

It confused me too for the first week or so. I couldn't get my head around the upvote system and how some posts would rise and fall and whatever, but now it's actually so logical, it's awesome, just sign up, find some cool subreddits and you'll have a wail of a time. -

Bloody hell that is utterly tragic, this planet sometimes never fails to amaze me, there is some total scum on this Earth. -
That's epic man, I really hope your site goes even further than it has already, if you could end up going to F1 races and reporting on them then that would just be the coolest thing! -
Yeah I have never heard Vettel talk about Schumacher in the same way that Lewis has about Senna.Mexicola said:
You must be joking. Vettel has made it clear that Schumi was is hero but nowhere near to the level where he wanted to emulate him just has Hamilton has expressed at every opportunity he gets. Vettel's made it clear he wants to be the "new Vettel" rather than the "new Schumacher". Idolisation and outright comparison are two totally different things.GoldenColt said:But when Vettel does the same thing with Schumi it's ok.
I'm sorry but if you seriously believe that Vettel does the same thing with Michael you are truly delusional.
I like Lewis but as Jiggy said, it's getting a bit too much now, like the whole 'taking on the baton' and running for him and Ayrton, it's stupid really.
Just imagine when he equals Senna's pole positions... -
Rossi is doing a solid job so far, matching Stevens and beating him at times, I think he deserves a full season next year.
I will always support the British drivers, but aside from them I think my other two favourite drivers are Ricciardo and Verstappen. Ricciardo because he is so damn happy all the time, seems like a top bloke, superb social media videos and he's fast, and Verstappen, mainly because he's the first driver to be younger than me, as well as being quick and a future winner/champion. -
I think that Maldonado did deserve his break in F1 (he won GP2 after all), but shouldn't be there any more. After 5 years he has been pretty average, and he still continues to amaze me with his silly crashes and spins.
The thing that confuses me about him though is how calm and controlled his win in Spain in 2012 was. He was a completely different man that day, crazy fast, didn't crack under pressure, it was so odd.
I'd also argue that Perez is perhaps a pay driver due to his Telmex backing, but he definitely should be on the grid.
I think that Ericsson, Maldonado and Gutierrez shouldn't be on the grid next year. There are definitely other drivers who I think deserve a place instead (such as Vandoorne, Magnussen and Vergne come to mind).
Also want to wait and see how Nasr does in his second year before making up my mind on him, and also how Palmer does next year. -
http://www.mclaren.com/formula1/team/reserve-test-development-drivers/stoffel-vandoorne/the-unstoffable-stoffel-vandoorne/?utm_source=Twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=StoffelVandoorneQA
So Stoffel Vandoorne is the McLaren reserve driver for 2016, just reading this little article on the McLaren website and came across this questionL
'Q: Would you rather be racing next year than be on the sidelines?'
What do they expect him to say? 'Oh no actually I'm really happy that after dominating GP2 I'm now stuck without a race seat and I'm reserve driver at this joke of a team'.

Sorry lads I've been at work all day. I also haven't started online yet! -
