Yeaaah... :p
Aah fair enough, tbh neither of the USA in Asia ones were good either, so just had to go for the one I felt best for (even though that was rubbish) :p Our hall wasn't too bad, it's the main massive assembly hall, but it was hot today. -
Oh Chris, how did the exams go today mate? One of the questions I did was good on the whole (Five Year Plans) but the second one on Nixon and Vietnam was shambolic unfortunately, just didn't know what to write about :/ -
I'll read the whole thing properly when I go to bed later but you have some good points there. Especially the fan interaction (and social media), which is dismal in Formula 1.
They need to take a leaf out of the WEC and Formula E's book. They upload short highlights of the races while they happen on Twitter and later to YouTube as well. The paddock was completely free, open and access-all-areas when I went to Silverstone for the WEC, it was so cool! Can't imagine F1 doing that unfortunately,
Heck, as I was walking out of the toilets, Neel Jani walked in to relieve himself! Imagine that with someone like Sergio Perez in F1. -
What if you just don't answer her question and send they exact same thing back, like:
'oh heeey! how's things?? z' -
Thinking of Rohan, he obviously used to do the awards ceremonies every August. This year he's unfortunately disappeared, so I was thinking about doing the awards in a slightly different way, combining it with some kind of 'Off-Topic Yearbook' style thing...
I'll explain it in further detail in a couple of weeks, but hopefully it'll be like a collection of memories, quotes, awards, etc.
I've got 100 days of summer holiday starting in June so I'll have time to waste doing it :p -
He hasn't been active on his Twitter since 2012, and his bio is something like 'Moderator on the soon to be famous NSP forums'. :pensive:
But man, that whole situation was the weirdest thing I've seen on this forum. I remember when Wooly and Killer found the image of the tattoo on the web and then it all got very odd.
No shenanigans like that on this forum, and I hope there won't be! -
Yeah I only found out you could do that just now when my Dad told me! Can't believe I didn't know about it before!
Oh right I see, well good luck mate! I have a couple of friends resitting a Maths module tomorrow morning as well so they'll probably be doing the same paper as you! -
Because my actual driving is seemingly quite good!
But seriously, I'm going to have to get the handbrake looked at and sorted out this weekend. I can't have this kind of thing happening again. -
@fIsince08 Thanks! You legend! And good luck tomorrow as well! You're doing your AS levels right? I'm doing A2 but I am resitting my AS history tomorrow. Is yours on Stalin, Korea and Vietnam?
Also, I have to tell you all about an event that happened with my car earlier this evening...
I went for a music lesson and parked it on the right hand side of a quiet, yet quite steep road, just outside their drive.
45 minutes passed, I came out of the house, got my keys out to unlock the car, but to my utter confusion, shock and fear, the car was parked up on the kerb about 20 metres further down the hill!
I ran down in panic to see what the hell had happened and checked for any scratches or dents (because while it was rolling it may have veered onto the road somehow and hit a car?), but fortunately there was nothing, no damage, so thank goodness.
I looked in and the handbrake was on, the car locked, and when I climbed in the car again everything seemed to work as usual, because I took the handbrake off and it started rolling like it would normally.
I can only assume that the handbrake somehow failed slightly and the car gradually rolled down the hill. I'm so lucky though that there's no dents on it because:
a) it rolled up and onto the kerb instead of the middle of the road (good job I left the wheel slightly to the right)
b) while doing this it would have had to have passed a lamp post which is bang in the middle of the kerb, so it must have just missed it
c) there were fortunately no cars parked in front of it for another 40 metres or so
Had the fright of my life when I walked out though. I assumed it must have hit something!

Oh yeah I remember that! That took me ages putting it all together, and coding the links so it all worked!RevolvingPrawn said:If anybody had asked I'd have just said you were mature for your age :p
Something kinda random, do you remember a post you did years ago on vbulls which had links to every single one of the race highlight things the BBC put up? Think you even put in brackets which were long highlights and which were short. I had that post bookmarked and watched every one of the links you put up :) That was shortly before I started posting much more regularly.
I wish that post still existed, as it would be great now to just go back to it and pick a random race to watch. I remember I put them into different events too, like all the old Aussie GP's, etc -
I think it was worse back then! Fez having two young un's move in with him: a 17 and a 15 year old!RevolvingPrawn said:
And imaginations :pPeteTheDuck said:Matt and Fez, do you remember that thingy a few years ago where you had like this massive house, and I was gonna come over and stay and you'd make me mash potato mountains for me every night?Ah memories
These days it might be kinda frowned upon, 2 older guys having a young 'un move in with them :p -

That surely doesn't break any helmet livery changes, it's clearly still the same driver. -

There's a few people I follow on Twitter who were so pro-Labour and anti-Conservative in the lead up to the election. It's funny now, but also quite annoying still to see just how much they are in despair over the fact their beloved Labour party lost so badly, and they continue to slag off the Tories. Seriously, change the record. -
Haha, 11 for me too :p -
I don't see why people are saying stuff like 'bye NHS'. Like really, pathetic...
Really pleased with the result, I can't believe how disappointing Labour and Lib Dems were though. Shame for UKIP though as Luke said, they deserve more than one seat, without a doubt. -

I don't understand the red bit half way up the nose? I'm honestly disappointed, I was hoping for better but I said yesterday it'd be a disappointment! -
Lets keep this thread civil please @flowaangelz -
Can guarantee it will be a massive disappointment. -
Watch this video and put on the automatic captions, they're quite funny :p

If I had to rank years in terms of my personal enjoyment (since 2007), I would go for...
1) 2012, probably because I thought some of the cars looked amazing, good success for the Brits, lots of winners
2) 2008, because there were some cracking races, amazing title decider and Lewis won of course
3) 2010, because it just felt good, Mercedes and Schumacher are back, close fight between McLaren, Ferrari and Red Bull
4) 2014, a good battle between the Mercs, emergence of Ricciardo and Bottas, resurgence of Williams and Ferrari and Red Bull weren't good
5) 2007, as Hamilton joined and he was epic, just loved the 2007 McLaren car too. Some dull races but good overall
6) 2009, as it was nice to have a massive shake up in the teams and drivers. McLaren and Ferrari were slow and Brawn and Red Bull suddenly come out victorious, but some dull races
7) 2013, was good for the first half of the year with a close fight on the cards, but the second half was zzzz
8) 2011, Vettel dominance, didn't like the look of the cars, only good races were Canada and Hungary.
