God she sounds awful, some people are just so unnecessarily rude when it comes to things like this. You are kind and calm and then they snap for no reason and blame you :(
One of my mates did something like that before Christmas, it wound me up to so much. Basically he organised a Christmas concert at a yacht club in London and I found out a couple of weeks before the event that I couldn't make it as I was going away on holiday at about 5am the next day. Anyway, I sent a very calm and collected message of apology and then he just flips for no reason, being ridiculous in his reply, then calling me a 'whiny little sh*t' behind my back! Well first of all I'm a lot taller than him and he was the one doing the whining.
I don't know why I'm still mates with him because any sane person would have left him behind if he said to them what he did to me! -
Here's another concept from the same artist, Bruce Thomson. I actually wrote to this guy last year asking him more about his work and any tips he had, he was very helpful in his reply!
I love this though, the black on the sides gives it that edgy feel. I can't help but think that Honda and Movistar wouldn't want orange though. Movistar and Telefonica would probably want some blue on the car to match their branding.

That's a very nice concept! -
'And if you no longer go for a tablet, then you're no longer constipated' -
Pinch punch first day of the month no returns. -
No they don't they can just pull up and drive away, because I think Alonso did that in Bahrain in 2013, when he came in the second time. -
I've started making some 2014 car illustrations and I'll share them with you when I get home from holiday, but so far I've done Ferrari, McLaren and Force India. I'm really pleased with them! -
Well we said that was probably likely after winter testing at the start of this season, but that never happened.
I'm sure Mercedes won't be caught next year, and I can only really see them winning the championship, and I think Hamilton will win the drivers', he's on a roll now I think.
Rosberg, I don't think he'll be as much of a threat to Hamilton for some reason, probably because Lewis has that upper hand with the title. I expect Red Bull, Williams and McLaren to be pretty close to each other next season, followed by Ferrari, Force India and Lotus with Toro Rosso and Sauber bringing up the rear.

No I haven't but I think I'll watch it when I'm home. Have you?RevolvingPrawn said:So switching the subject because those who aren't from the UK won't relate to the previous debate :p
Has anybody else seen The Interview? -
Oh right, the little slots in the 'rudder' of their front nose?
I remember in 2008 Ferrari and McLaren revealed their cars on the 5th and 8th January, but now they all usually do it on the day of the first test, with the exception of McLaren, Ferrari and Lotus often it seems -
Seb, you said that Red Bull are expected to keep their S duct for next year. I've not actually heard of that (unless my mind is going on a complete blank), so what is that? -
Has that been updated on the official FIA entry list?
It's just because I noticed that the tweet you retweeted was from Planet F1 and obviously, y'know... -
Time for my rant. In short, this has probably been my least favourite Christmas Day ever.
First of all I have had a cold, headache, general limb aches and sore throat for the last two days and I woke up very early this morning at 6am. I'm in Barbados so the time difference is 4 hours to back home, so it felt natural to be awake then. Then I waited around for a couple of hours for other people to wake up and then we opened presents. As we're away we didn't have loads though and of the ones I did get, they were alright. I got an iTunes voucher, F1 2014, chocolate, a keyring and a water bottle.
anyway, we had breakfast but then today has just gone on for so long. At 11am I felt like it should be about 2 in the afternoon, and as I'm ill I have no energy. I then had very bad stomach ache for 30 mins but luckily that and my limb aches have gone. However, I how have a cough and oh yeah, still got mosquito bites wh -
I got F1 2014 for Christmas!
Buuut I can't play it til I get home from holiday, which isn't for another 10 days... -
I've been ill the last couple of days too, and even this morning I Still feel naff. Got a cold, headache, achy legs and neck, sore throat. And out here I've also got mosquito bites :/ not a great holiday so far, and I don't feel like it's really Christmas out here :(
but have a great one everyone else! -
What's happened to Mexi recently? -
You've made me read old messages now too aha. There's one girl who's in a similar position to your situation actually, blatant signals but I did nothing about it. I didn't fancy her though which makes sense. Her twin sister now happens to be going out with one of my best mates (not the same guy as the other one I mentioned)!onetwothree said:There was this one girl who, now that I've re-read it, was sending clear signals. Stupid me was either utterly oblivious or in denial which is a darnn shame considering I kinda had a thing for her too. -
Dear me, why am I telling a public forum about mine and my friend's love life?! -
I hate going through old messages because they are just so cringe-worthy! When I was 14 there was this girl who I kind of went out with (went on like 5 dates), but nothing ever really happened in person; It all happened over texting/Emails. Anyway, we'd say the most cringey stuff and looking back now it was so stupid. 'I love you so much! xxxxxxxx', 'I'm gonna missss you on holiday xxxxxxxx', are such examples. When you're 14 you think you're so grown up but in reality you're just immature.onetwothree said:So recently I've been going through my old messenger chat logs, and believe me when I say that future generations will use this as a fine example of cringe-worthy behaviour. On the upside, I got a girl to divulge two of her passwords (no euphemism, I was 12)
Anyway it's great now cos I'm actually going out with a girl and nothing of the sort happens! As if happens, one of my best mates has been trying to go out with my 'ex' for about 5 months now but it's obvious she has no interest in him.

Also there hasn't been a rookie champion since Hulkenberg I think? Valsecchi, Leimer and Palmer all kinda won the championship because they were in it long enough to get used to the cars and have the experience to win it. I was so impressed at Vandoorne this year, he's a star of the future in F1. -
In recent years you could argue FR3.5 because both Magnussen and Sainz have won the championship and have then progressed to F1. The last 3 GP2 champions (Valsecchi, Leimer and Palmer) have all missed it (so far). However, there is some serious talent in GP2 which I can see making the step soon (Vandoorne, Marciello, Evans, maybe Lynn if he takes part next year). I still think GP2 is the best series though, especially as it's on the same weekends as F1, it gets more attention I think. -
Ahh memories eh! -
