Thanks a lot! Yeah I have a Canon EOS 1100D, but I haven't saved up and bought any other lenses for it, so still using the one it comes with. The zoom is awful but the quality is so good and close ups are great, as well as wide shots. It's got so many settings I still need to experiment with.Tommig1995 said:The first one is beautiful! Love the really sharp focus of it!
I take it you have a DSLR? My camera's only a point and shoot, which make getting the right focal length for photos like that really difficult.
Something I'd really like to do is having the shutter speed really long, and going to some busy place with lights and cars so it is a nice blur. -
So most of you have had the game for a few days now, so what is your favourite circuit to race on in F1 2014?
Do you love the challenge of the tight streets of Monaco? Do you love the undulations of the Suzuka esses? What about the run up the hill on the Circuit of the Americas? The new Sochi circuit in Russia? Let us know what you enjoy -
Here's some of my best photography so far.
These first two are images taken from Marbella in Spain.

This photo was taken in Oxford and whilst the picture isn't amazing, the shadow of the bike is just awesome.
The following five were my final submissions for a GCSE photography unit, called Surface and Texture.

This final image here was taken after some floods in the Summer last year, some great reflection.

True, and that's your decision so that's completely understandable. I wouldn't mind a couple of kids, no more than 2, but despite all the issues it'd be awesome to have a kid for me.

But think about it, a little baby you would be awesome -
7301 points for that one -
Guys, you may or may not remember but a few months ago I said that my choir got through to the category finals of the Choir of the Year competition.
Well yesterday was that category final for the final 16 groups of the 150+ that entered. There were 4 categories (Adult, Children, Youth, Open) with 4 groups in each and the winner of each category go through to the final, plus two wildcards.
Anyway, our group is a close harmony barbershop group from my school and we were in the Youth Category, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but we won the Youth category, giving us the title of Youth Choir of the Year!! So we're into the grand final which is in Manchester in December, and it's being shown live on BBC 4!
So yeah, absolutely amazing achievement, we're so pleased, and if you want to, tune in and watch it on the TV!! -
That was very well put, and I completely agree with you tbtstt. It's always been the case when there's been a big accident that the broadcasters don't show the incident or replays of it until they know the driver is OK. Unfortunately Jules isn't OK so they haven't released it.
So a cover up? Get real son. -
It's so good Formula E are uploading stuff like this for everyone to see. Come on F1, get with the times -
Bahrain is only dusk for what, 15 minutes though? Then after that it is just pitch black for the entire thing. It's probably not worth the time or effort at putting in those few minutes of dusk, because it will probably take up a lot of space on the game too getting that done. I'm no expert obviously but I suspect that may be the case. -
I am going to get the game eventually, maybe around Christmas time when the prices go down, but at the moment I don't have much time to play games and I just don't feel pumped for this game. I will get it though, just not right now. -
I played Project CARS at EGX last month and the helmet camera is one of the standout features for me. If the new-gen F1 game could have something like that then that would be incredible, one where it leans into the corners, you see the visor, etc. That would be epic. -
I know Codies went around all the tracks taking loads of pictures when they first got the F1 game license back in 2010, but I wonder whether they've been back to take more photos? Places like Monaco have a lot of little track details missing in the game. Same with Canada too I believe. -
Have any of you lot listened to or seen Derek and Clive/Pete and Dud? I lost my breath briefly yesterday laughing at them, they're disguisting but hilarious :D -
That point about the Woodcote kerb is really good and I've never noticed that before. I'm surprised there are still bollards even though they've not been there for years. -
It's good there's been a couple of modifications to Monaco, but still, there's a lot of small things missing which I and other members pointed out in threads on this forum a while back. Such as the yellow sausage kerbs, bollards, kerb placements, etc. Little things that make the difference.

Well that was, erm, interesting... -
1) I don't think there is a published list of the different ranks, so I'd just look around and see how many you can find.
2) I believe there is no set system, it's a combination of stuff, such as posts, the points you score (which I want to know more about), whether you answer questions, etc. -
I have some stuff to show you in the next couple of days hopefully, it's from my art A-level project and I hope you like it.

Which game are you talking about here? -
3rd place baby, gonna get you Prawn! -
This. I love F1 games but I'm just not feeling pumped for F1 2014 at all. The build up has been crap tbh so I'm not excited about the game. If there were some dev diaries then that would have been great. As you say, when it's cheaper I'll buy it.Hughesy said:Nope, which surprises me as I'm a sucker for F1. When I can get it for a good price then I will. The fact they are selling it at full price is silly imo... I can get it for £21 something which isn't too bad.
F1 2015

I obviously know nothing about game reveals and what you can and can't do with announcing stuff, but I hope it's a bloody good reason you're not revealing anything this year. Even if it's some tiny details, some screenshots using 2014 cars for previews (like you did for F1 2010 using 2009 cars), anything is good in my eyes.
I also hope the build up to the game is considerably longer and more vigorous than it has been for the previous couple of games. Something that made F1 2010 so popular for me and many others was it's hyped build-up with constant gameplay and trailers. We've not had much for the last couple of games.
I am gonna take an educated guess and say I reckon F1 2015 will be revealed in May/June time, so I really hope you can start talking about it even in January. Give the next-gen F1 game the treatment it deserves. It's a big re-vamp for F1 on more powerful consoles so I hope you guys do it justice.
