I am 99% sure they'll still be last... -
The game looks decent, but why is the McLaren so dark at Singapore? -
-
And the time before! In fact, each time I've said that (Italy and Singapore) he's won!!mike96 said:
Ιt worked well the last time you said it, didn't? ;)PeteTheDuck said:

I'm pretty sure it's because they can get the game out on the same weekend as the Japanese GP. Really not sure why we can't have it at the same time though. -
I really like this circuit, and driving it on the game it's probably in my top 3. I love the feeling when you get the first sector of esses just right, with high speed, left right, then the degners are awesome. Spoon curve, oh yes. I love it.
Come on Lewis! -
Great thread! I think this should be used for anyone to show off any art they've done. We used to have something like this on the old forum and some of the stuff was awesome!
I'll try and get some images of my recent stuff together soon for you all to see.

Happy birthday Rohan! -
Yeah, I went yesterday and had a go.dirt3joe said:Did anyone get to EG to play this on the consoles ?
Some of the reports seem to suggest it was a bit lacking ...
I went to EGX with this as the game I couldn't wait to play, but I left slightly disappointed. Not at the game really but what was on offer.
There were just two tracks on offer, Silverstone and Dubai Autodrome, and only about 3 cars I think? Really stupid considering the mountain of cars and tracks that are on the game! I only got to try the game out on a pad, but the handling of an LMP1 style car was poor. Very light steering, just not what you would expect. The other car was better, an Aston Martin GT car.
The graphics were stunning though, and I played it on a PC eventually running about 60fps I think? Really impressive, with great weather and sound, and in the low sunlight it's very good. The HUD is great, and you can change what you see in game by pressing a button which is great. So you can go from nothing to everything pretty much! They have a great driver cam view too, which leans into corners, really good.
Didn't manage to try it on a wheel (there was one stand) as the queue was stupidly long, but apparently it was much better there.
I was slightly disappointed though. Why couldn't we play all those cars and tracks. GT6 last year, you could drive about 25 cars on about 12 tracks so I spent hours there. Here, probably 20 minutes?
Honestly, LBP3 was my favourite game from the day... -
I went to EGX yesterday and queued for 45 mins to play this game with a mate. So here is my short and not well written review.
I had no idea what to do when I started. I had a gun and I could run, then there were these monsters and I shot them but I was smashed by them about 10 times in the space of 7 minutes. I was on a team I think but I wasn't any help so sorry to my team mates. But the graphics were fantastic, sound again, great, and with the headphones on full blast, sometimes quite scary!
A great game, but I had no idea. -
What a crazy crash. Must have felt like an eternity for Collard as that whole thing lasted about 8 or 9 seconds, and he probably was thinking cars would pile into him, and then ending up on the roof. Scary stuff. -
Time for another question, and this week I'm asking you for your opinions on the online section of F1 games.
How do you use it? Do you want to see added extras to online game modes, how would you improve it? How can online be better adjusted to suit racing leagues? Any thoughts, pop them here! -
I do laugh at a lot of these 'facts'. If they're so sure on Alonso to McLaren then why aren't they doing all they can to spread the word to the journos, getting their name there as the people who discovered the move was happening. Where do they get their sources from?
I don't believe anything I've read until it pops up on Autosport.com -
I know when it's obvious when you think about it, but this is weird in a way
*attempts to touch right elbow with right hand and fails miserably -
OMG, what a coincidence. We leave our dog at home and leave him in the lounge, but today we left the TV on for him! He was watching Top Gear on Dave hahaHughesy said:Came back from work and one of the dogs had changed the channel from watching cartoons to watching This Morning....lol I always leave the TV on for them. The youngest loves watching it, especially when there's fast moving things on o:) -
Quite spiffing to be honest, beautiful day. -
Just realised I forgot to choose a Lifetime Achievement award winner: I nominate @Lukedfrt -

No, @JensonBottom used to be AquaF1, also called Tom I think. The Big A is definitely gone.RevolvingPrawn said:@PeteTheDuck I'm pretty sure The Big A is @JensonBottom now :p And I feel old ;) -

Anyway, my nominations, and it's a shame we don't have a full year of stuff to review when making these nominations due to the forum situation, but here we go...
Best Thread: The Stuff Thread, it's there every year and still going strong
Best Young Member: f1since08, he's doing a super job running the predictor game this year too, better than I did :p
Best Old Member: Well, to be classed as old here you're still actually very young, so I'd probably say RevolvingPrawn
Funniest Thread: The .gif Thread
Funniest Member: onetwothree
Plonker Award: AMS, sorry but some of your motorsport related posts really make me laugh, a lot
Best New Member: sjsharp2010, he may have been here longer but he seems new to me
Love Guru 101: Rohan, he's finally pulled the bird
Troll Fighter: Platy
Most Missed Member: The Big A, he's been gone a couple of years now but he was great on the vBulletin forums. He was about the same age as me too which was cool and he went to a similar school as I do, so we were quite similar, and he posted so well for his age. Also a shout out to AL0NS0FAN even though he can act like a douche on Twitter
Worst Thread: Wanna Play Thread http://forums.codemasters.com/discussion/481/wanna-play-thread#latest
Epic Thread Revival: The Weather Thread, it dies 10 times every year but still remains on the first page of the forum
Best Community Manager: justbiglee, when there was a problem getting my competition prize bundle to me he was so cool with it, awesome, and he does so much work on the forum, interacting loads with the DiRT guys
Worst Comeback: Probably AMS or GoldenColt as they're usually embroiled in some heated F1 debate battle, there's normally a cringy post somewhere
Best Post: onetwothree's birthday wish to f1since08 http://forums.codemasters.com/discussion/comment/47052#Comment_47052
Most Changed Member: Mike96, he's become really funny!
OT Member of the Year: RevolvingPrawn -
Happy Birthday Dave! -
I like the current system to be honest. You get given more for winning a grand prix which I think is a good thing, and you get points down to 10th place. -
Oooooh, right! II get you now :pRevolvingPrawn said:@PeteTheDuck Lol, no no, I said 'butt in' meaning I was tempted to reply to the guy. We follow notgoingtouni :p
