To any people in year 12 or 13, best of luck with the A level results tomorrow!@AMS97KRR we'll have to compare notes on the history paper :p -
The reason that F1 2010 worked for me is because it was immersive. The live the life bit in the paddock menus and interviews worked so well, and you felt like you were the driver. The games since then haven't had that same great feel.

I agree with you there. They'd be mad to put him in at just 17 years old, he needs another year in single seaters, at least. And yeah, it would probably break his career.

Radio commentary is so much better. As a listener you have to trust what they're saying is true, but if you are watching then you can make your own judgements. Like in tennis, on TV they'll say something like "Federer to serve", then the rally will happen with no commentary and then at the end they'll say "good stuff there from Roger, he played very well to earn that point".
Meanwhile on radio "So it's the fifth set, fourth game, 30-15 to Federer and here he is with the serve, great serve making Djokovic work hard, a good return though by Djokovic. Federer plays the forehand followed by a superb backhand from Djokovic. Federer just gets it back and he's gone high, Djokovic smashes it across the net but Roger hits it over and steals the point. Beautiful play from both of them there, incredible here at Wimbledon.
It's the same for F1 sometimes.

Hell yeah
Add Thomas the Tank Engine, Chuckle Vision, Blues Clues, Krypto the Superdog, The Batman and Dora the Explorer to that list and you get me!
Oh yes, how could I forget the legendary Chucklevision?! I went to see them live years ago, they're amazing.

Honestly, to live a long and healthy life.
The last year I've lost at least three people due to cancer, one just 40 years old, one 65 and one 80. One of my best mates lost their quite healthy Dad suddenly due to a heart attack a couple of months ago and he was just 45 years old, younger than my mum and dad. It made me think, I'm really not safe and it made me think 'that could happen to me'. So I want to live long.

@fIsince08 btw, that thread I you were asking about is called 'F1 2014 Q&A Thread' -
Can't believe the news about Robin Williams. He was in two of my favourite films, Mrs Doubtfire and Good Morning Vietnam. I only watched Mrs Doubtfire last week and it's a bit of an uncanny coincidence, but last night I was putting my younger brother to bed and I made up a story for him, and I the main character was Mrs Doubtfire, I was doing the voice of her too.
Awful :(

Crofty uses too many cheesy lines, like connecting one thing with another which is just cringy. Edwards and Brundle would be epic. Martin is just great with his commentary, and Ben is just awesome.

I can see Sainz possibly getting a drive next year in the place of Vergne, and I'd probably expect Lynn to have another year in GP3, or maybe even go to FR3.5. For Verstappen, maybe GP3 is good for him?

Thanks for the comments guys on the blog, but thanks to Mexi for the idea.

Well I took a photo of my sleepy town after the hurricane, pretty bad for the buildings

I've just spent an hour writing out a post to go on my blog on the F1 games. I'll probably upload it tonight or tomorrow. It's a bit of a long one, but I hope some of you read it.

I think the kerbs in F1 2013 are fine to be honest, I don't have any problems with them. Maybe the odd spin every 20 races, but that's nothing.
F1 2010 was awful, especially Singapore, you couldn't complete a race without spinning.

It could be called 'Formula 1 2015' instead of 'F1 2015'. :open_mouth:
But on a serious note, I'm intrigued to see what it's gonna be called, and just why the name change is necessary. Maybe it's gonna be to do with the fact there are live updates. Does that mean we can effectively race against the real drivers during race time?
Imagine that, the race or practice session is actually happening, and the game relays their actual track position on your game, and then you can choose your driver and you take their place, and you race against the real people, at the same time!

James Allen is awesome! I remember the start of a Monaco GP in something like 2003 and he was shouting 'Are you ready, are you ready, ARE YOU READY? ......................... GOOOOOOOOOOO!'
That's what I want again.
