  1. every codies f1 game since 2010 has been a stinker anyway, league racing is ruined by codies inadequate coding so whats the big deal. 2 million people have moved on from cm and don't buy there games now and I think the rest should follow suit. would be much better if a bigger games company took it over

Out of interest, do you have a source for this piece of information? If you do I would love to see it.

  2. I'm not sure I agree :p When you're an adult you can buy video games when you want, and afford the consoles to go with them, you don't have to rely on parents or birthdays. And for me, when I get home I've usually got around 6/7 hours free if I wanna game, and the weekends too. Plenty of time :)
That's my thoughts right there. When I get a job it's pretty unlikely I'll be working extra hours at home and therefore I'll have a couple of hours each night to spend on games. At school you get tonnes of homework (and I'm at a grammar school so it's pretty tough) so you don't get much time.

I honestly can't wait til I go to uni and get a job. I currently have to do French and History which can sometimes be a real drag, so I can't wait to drop them. I know what career I want, so lets hope it works out.

  3. I'm so annoyed, I don't have the time to play games like I want to anymore with all the homework, wider reading and exams to revise for now.

When I was in Year 6, I would have easy work at school with relaxing days, and I would get home and I could do anything, I would get home and go on my PS2 for two hours and then have dinner and then play on it for another 2 hours, every day pretty much. At the weekends and during half terms I would be on my PS2 non stop and I would have so much fun on the games.

Now I get home and I have to get on with work for an hour and a half, then dinner, and then I have to work for another three hours, and then I go on the PC to check out social media and do other stuff and then I'm in bed. At weekends I am working so much and same during half terms, I don't get the time to sit down and play the games anymore. I do one league race per week, and maybe 2 hours at the weekends, if that.

  4. 1) I had the privilege of being at the 2008 British Grand Prix when Lewis took the win in the wet, so that is the best race I have been to. When he came around the final corner at Woodcote (where I sat), the crowd went absolutely nuts, I won't forget it. He won the race by over a minute or something, an incredible atmosphere. I was so pleased.

    2) The best race I have ever seen, that's tough. I am actually gonna say Brazil 2012. A race with mixed weather conditions, Vettel had to work his socks off to get back into championship winning position, Button winning, Hulkenberg and Hamilton battling for the lead, such a good race.

  5. My ideal meal,

I would go to a nice restaurant and firstly order some garlic bread topped with mozzarella cheese, and a rum and coke. For my mains I would have a burger and chips with a pepperoni pizza, and then for pudding I would have a chocolate and biscuit ice cream with vanilla ice cream, chocolate ice cream, chocolate chunks, chocolate coookies and chocolate sauce, washed down with a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows

I started watching the odd bits of F1 races in 2007, I think after Monza. I've always had this memory of my Grandad saying "Let's see how the boy's doing" (meaning Hamilton) and I can remember Hamilton running through the escape road at turn 1 at Monza.

I watched the odd race in 2008 (I loved Brazil 08) and then watched most of 2009 (I can remember being so bored at Abu Dhabi I kept flicking over to watch it whilst playing F1 04) and most of 2010. I never missed a race in 2011 (bar the end of Canada) and I've just got more and more into it.

Then I started moving into other car racing - the stuff that's on Channel 4 on a weekend morning (Mobil 1 The Grid, Caterham and VW racing, FIA GT, Blancpain etc) and watched the last few rounds of the BTCC in 2012 (I remember Shedden winning the championship) before tuning in for most races in 2013 and going to Croft that year.
    Past your bedtime? :p

  7. I'm pretty sure at this time last year Codemasters had a private press event for F1 2013, of which some YouTube gamers were invited
Yes, that's correct. Those people were allowed to take some videos of the game and then Codemasters made the game public and the YouTubers were free to upload their content.

I don't think that has happened this year, so I'm just expecting a blog announcement post and some gameplay directly from Codemasters.

  8. Some rules need to be changed mid-season if a particular event happens which means it needs a change (I'm thinking about Nurburgring 2013 when the cameraman was struck on the head with the loose wheel. After that they reduced the pit lane speed limits and all cameramen had to be on either the pit wall or the garages I believe). But on a technical point, something that affects the cars, it shouldn't be changed. I don't understand the need to ban the FRIC now, it seems really silly.
