  1. just finished a long season in career, and want to do a medium length season just for the achievements and 100% completion, but can't find an option in the menus to change it. Does anyone know if there is actually an option to change this after you first select the season length at the beginning or season 1? Or do we have to restart career every time we want to do that?
  2. Just had a glitch where I was coming into the pits in Malaysia to change from wets to inters, got held for a lotus coming out the pits, but instead of releasing me out of my box, the game held me when there were no cars coming down the pit lane until the leader had passed me in the pits. Then I was released. No penalties given to me at all. Very weird.
    • the rev shift lights need to be fixed when you hit purple lights that should mean the end of the rev limiter not a few seconds before.
It's meant to be like that to help with fuel saving. In real life the drivers only rev to about 10k rpm when the limiter is at 15k

I have a question. If you delete your profile of a PAD and create a profile with a wheel, save and close on console. The next time that you start the game WITH a PAD, you will be able to disable all the AID? Or will still be the secret TC?
Im gonna try it tonight as I'm not very far into career, I'll let you know
  4. Yeah from everything I've heard, and I've played a little on the wheel myself, this years game is really good with a wheel. But for pad users it's just so dull. If they patch it I'm sure it'll be a much more enjoyable game all round

Not sure if it's a bug, but the steering is VERY heavy on a pad. Read that wheel users don't have this problem. Could be related to hidden assists. Again not sure if it's a bug.

Good of work putting it all in one thread with the links to each page. Great to have it all in one place

What do you mean heavy on a pad? Im struggling to get nice feel with my wheel as it feels light some times and heavy other times so not sure if it bug, me, my wheel or what but really struggling to get a good feeling from my wheel this year. Any other wheel users care to share there settings? Im using fanatec csr elite with formula rim if that helps?
It just feels really sluggish, lots of understeer on turn in, even in quali with fresh options. Almost like the car is fat with fuel at all times. Coupled with TC being always on it just makes the game.. Boring. Can't get any sort of oversteer out of it. Can't speak about the wheel as I don't use one atm!
  6. I think this game has the potential to be a really good addition to the series, all they have to do is to make the handling on the pad as similar as possible to the handling on the wheel. Of course there's going to be slight differences because of the different hardware, but having the software as fair as possible for everyone would go a long way to making this a great game online and offline.

Making the steering as responsive on a pad as it is on the wheel (it's very sluggish) and making traction the same for pad users as it is for the wheel. I'm a pad user and I want to be able to spin up the rears and feel the wheel spin!

Seems like CM will be ignoring this totally. Just saw few tweets about this posted to  @T4RG4 & he seeming was shrugging it off completely saying its fine :(
He seems completely delusional about the issues with this game. It's pretty obvious that everybody is unhappy with the pad handling but he just doesn't seem to get it. It's not fine at all, most leagues are in tatters because of it, basically putting fingers up to the dedicated online community
  8. I found one of those wireless speed wheels (I know it's not a proper wheel but it makes the hidden assists turn off) kicking around the house and used it for a few mins on the game.. The handling with it is awesome!! The power delivery is exactly what I was hoping for in the first place and the car actually turns unlike on the pad!

If CM can make the pad handling like it is on the wheel I would be one happy chappy. Don't have the money to buy a proper wheel so that was the closest I could get and it was a far better game experience
  9. Adjustable differential. Been dying to have this in the game for ages. Would be great to be able to control the car balance through the race as fuel comes down and tires wear.

also I think they should take advantage of gp2 and gp3 and put that in the game. After all, the motogp game has moto2 and moto3
