Well, it's perfectly fine for me not to have all tracks laser-scanned or with LIDAR data but to have some classic "evergreen" F1 tracks such as Spa, Monza, Brasil, Silverstone as accurate as possible would be nice, especially if you take into account the differences in altitude of the track. Spa, for instance, is actually a roller-coaster. Why not update just two or three tracks every iteration of the game with LIDAR data.

I doubt it, this will probably be the last version of the game on the current EGO Engine and for F1 2021 they will switch to a new one. F1 2020 won't be benefiting from more hardware power, I guess.

What I know for sure is that we have pointed out this "issue" very often in the past and nothing has changed.

The bump exists in the last three versions of the game (as far as I'm aware) and has been pointed out several times by the community. Why were no changes made?

Here we go again, I still remember the discussion about the switches, buttons and rotaries when F1 2019 was released. In this case you have to praise Codemasters, in the beta and shortly after release of the game nothing was working. The outcry in the community was insane and thankful they decided to listen and added the compatibility later on.

I don't get it too, laser scanned tracks would benefit everybody.

From a league racers perspective, we complain about the absolutely basic features a multiplayer-title must have in 2020 and makes races more enjoyable. I personally don't need a manager mode or ability to play split screen. I just want a virtual rear-view mirror, at least some laser scanned tracks (iconic tracks like Spa, Monza) although I believe this something we rather see with the next-gens, much better engine sounds and less bugs and better balancing. We have encountered so many stupid bugs and glitches during the course of the season that even league racing with people who take it serious and don't crash into each other really ruined the fun of the game. Fortunately with ACC coming to consoles this June, there will be another contender to choose from.

I can understand his frustration and for the whole player base of this game it's actually not bad. Lando has a huge reach in media and can therefore put a lot of pressure on CM to improve the experience in future titles. Liberty Media is certainly not pleased to see one of the most popular drivers throwing the official game into the bin and that is rather a problem for CM than Lando because it's not his fault.

Since the last update to 1.09 all buttons work (also the little wheels) on PS4.

I have no idea why everybody complains about that? I have TC and ABS off and reached gold status?!

Maybe that's because they have no idea how to solve this or don't want to. We still wait for a response regarding the Fanatec compatiblity problems.

We won't stop asking until we get an offical statement from CM. It feels like you just promote your partnership to generate better sales figures. Fanatec produces promotional videos about the development of F1 2019 and their Podium Series so that the customer believes that the complete product is fully compatible with the game. We mentioned these concerns during the beta and no CM-employee has ever responded, which is quiet dissappointing for the people which spent their time to find bugs and issues during the beta process. As already discussed a thousand times and CM not willing to give us an honest feedback on this. At the moment neither the encoders nor the Multi-Position-Switches work. Safe your money, if F1 is your only racing game, it's noth worth the money. Regarding the APM, they work on PS4 but not all of them. You have to do a firmware update of the base first.

I was refering to the PS4 compatiblity.

At least, there will be no excuses. From SDK standpoint, everything is possible but it's down to the developer of the game to implement it. I've attached a conversation with a Fanatec employee.

Do the thumb encoders also work on PS4 on the Fanatec ClubSport Lenkrad Formula V2 and the F1 2018 Special Edition?
