  1. Patch 1.05 and no reference to the issues within the new League System.... sigh🙄
  2. There is something wrong with your Pic here... not only have you the ability to select AI Substitution on/off but you also have the option of Category MULTIPLAYER/2019 open too yet the privacy is PUBLIC? How is this possible? What platform are you on?

    enhanced understeer on or off?

I was always under the impression this option was dedicated to low end gear driven wheels like the G29. Belt driven wheels like FANATEC and Thrustmaster do not require this to be on. In fact I found it a hindrance with in on while using a FANATEC CSL ELITE wheel base.
  4. Before I go into detail of what I believe is either broken or a major oversight within the NEW League System on F1 2019, I want to explain what WE at FNL1 eSports run in our league. This may or may not be what other leagues do or offer but "I" assume most top level leagues run a similar system. We run a highly competitive PS4 league. With regular 18-20 car grids. These number can vary and often do when real life events intervene from time to time. We have learnt to be as flexible as possible but also fair to all drivers. In saying that, more often then not out of our pool of drivers there often is not a full grid of 20 cars. We use a system of 2 dropped rounds over a 21 race season. This is our way of being flexible to the odd missed race. As good as the AI option is we neither want it nor require it. As a matter of fact it is a particular hindrance to other drivers who race regularly. When creating a LEAGUE, at the FORMAT tab, we are presented with this screen: The AI option is available, but Privacy is by default set on PUBLIC and MULTIPLAYER Car is locked in. If we change this to 2019 Cars by setting the Privacy to PRIVATE we can see in this screenshot that the AI option now becomes faded out and by default set to "VISIBLE IN THE STANDINGS" and CANNOT be changed! This seems intentional... I noticed this basic flaw while watching F1® 2019 | DEFEAT YOUR RIVALS | LEAGUES . Here you can see when Chief Games Designer Gav Cooper selects the 2019 cars the AI option below fades out. Why? At the time i noted this as a concern, but I also noted that the "Allow AI Substitution" option was still available. So I assumed that by turning this off it would override the "AI" default option which is LOCKED in with "Visible in standings". As you can see in my 2 screen shots this option is totally unavailable in either MULTIPLAYER Cars or 2019 Cars. Why? So is this a bug... or is it working as intended? Either way this is fundamentally flawed and is the proverbial brick wall that prevents our league from using the new LEAGUE SYSTEM. --> THE OPTION TO TURN OFF AI MUST BE AVAILABLE WITH 2019 CARS --> THE OPTION TO TURN OFF ALLOW AI SUBSTITUTION MUST BE MADE AVAILABLE TO ALL CATEGORIES There are other issues with the League system that are not as critical but are no less vital to catering to ALL eSport Leagues. Here is a list of a few, but I'm sure others will have more. * Inability to have reserve drivers. This would be much better then having AI as the ONLY option to replace any unused slots. * Inability to populate calander with random dates. Some leagues follow the real life F1 calander which does not always follow a 2 week schedule as we all know. * Lack of a Constructors Championship. Thats the WHOLE point of using 2019 Cars

  6. I too could have swore that turning the AI on/off was and is an option. But only if using MULTIPLAYER Cars! MAJOR OVERSIGHT! From this screen shot we can clearly see the Option for the AI is available, but that is with Privacy set on PUBLIC and ONLY the MULTIPLAYER Cars are available. So lets change that so we can use 2019 Cars (which is what we use in our league and i know many others do to), by setting the lobby as Private. This is no big deal as most top end leagues are well organised outside of the game. Now we can clearly see that the AI option is faded out and not available. This small detail, but fundamentally flawed detail, has forced us not to use the built in LEAGUE SYSTEM for our league. It is a MAJOR oversight on top of many other small issues within the league system as detailed by Gussie in the OP. Also has ANYONE been able to turn off AI Substitution in either MULTIPLAYER Cars or 2019 Cars? it seems permanently faded out and unavailable. Yet its there as an option? This leads me to think this all could be a bug? An Error? A Glitch? Non intentional? If so... PLEASE FIX this in the NEXT PATCH! If this is actually working as intended (which would be insane to think it is).... then it needs to be ADDRESS ASAP. It has prevent virtually ALL top end LEAGUES from using the LEAGUE SYSTEM within the Game! I really hope CodeMasters sorts this issue out as it would be a real shame to NOT use the NEW league system and its DEDICATED SERVERS.

    Fanatec V2 functions on PS4

This most definitely needs to be implemented ASAP. The Flagship wheel of the co-sponsor of the OFFICIAL F1 eSports Series and half the functions do NOT work!? Codemasters... you guys have really dropped the ball, big time, on this one. The lack of ANY comment from Codemasters, in regards to this issue, is probably the most disappointing aspect of this situation. We, the consumer, have spent the BIG BUCKS and Codemaster simply refuse to explain why it's not been implemented. Massive lack of respect guys. Not Happy 😡😡😡
  8. Ahhhh.. Not to state the obvious, but going by the reactions to your post, you ARE the MINORITY!

    MotorworldHype Lee Mather Question Thread

Hi Lee, The burning question for FANATEC Owners is, will WHY is the ClubSport Steering Wheel F1® 2018 and 2019 NOT have FULLY Functioning Button and Rotary encoders within the game both on PS4 and PC?😡 Thanks in Advance!
  10. FNL1 eSports Concord Agreement Hey guys, with the new season of the FNL1 eSports F1 Championship around the corner, registration is now open. Round 1 will be on June 14. There’s quite a few changes heading into Season 4 so every driver is required to read the documents and fill out the form as acceptance and their commitment to the 21 race season. The Season will initially start with F1 2018 on PS4 and then eventually transition over to F1 2019 as soon as all drivers are comfortable within the new game. Races will be held on the Friday night, a week after the real FIA Formula 1 World Championship, with Full Qualifying starting @ 9:45pm AEST Sharp! 50% Race to follow immediately after Q3. All of the current drivers will get priority however it will be a FIRST IN BEST DRESSED policy for the newcomers to fill out the remaining 3 or 4 seats on the grid. Responses are time stamped at my end. We are also planning an F2 series which will act as a feeder series to the F1 league. So if you miss out don’t despair, you will be racing one way or another. However we will need at least 10 drivers registered for the F2 series for it to go ahead and be viable. So please share this around to anyone who you think might be interested and keen to have a crack. Registration link below. FNL1 SEASON 4 Friday Night F1 League
  11. Totally Agree. This is what creates the build up and tension to the last few minutes of Qualifying. A definite MUST HAVE for F1 2019 among a few other things like a replay function while Spectating for broadcasting/streaming purposes. Just like they have in the OFFICIAL F1 eSPORTS Series. 😉😉 🤔
  12. Highlights of F1 Friday Night League Round 2 in Russia. Awesome race which had so much action from start to finish with even a Safety car just to spice things right up.
