1. A detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here. - First clip: none | Second clip: DVAH-KDRS-RKEM-HEPG | Players who left a ongoing race in multiplayer at any stage of the race won't be shown the 5 red lights which indicate when you get full control over your previous AI controlled car back. This feature was already a thing in F1 2019. Platform - PC What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen) - First clip: V.109 | Second clip: V1.10 Game-mode? - Multiplayer, Unranked lobby We need to be able to make your problem happen internally so we can fix the issue. Can you make the problem happen again? - Leave an ongoing multiplayer unranked lobby and rejoin, then take control of your AI car and you will see that there are no lights. How do you make the problem happen? - Leave an ongoing multiplayer unranked lobby and rejoin, then take control of your AI car and you will see that there are no lights. What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue - There is none to be done. What peripherals are you are using (gamepad, wheel make & model etc) - First clip: XBOX Controller | Second clip: Keyboard Any screenshots or video of the issue? If the video is long, please include a timestamp for when the issue appears. - The driver in this video has successfully reconnect to the lobby and there are no signals of any kind to show him when he gets the control of his car back. You can't prepare yourself for anything since the AI is doing the final steering movement before the player takes over. It is quite clearly that one second later he could have ended in the wall. https://youtu.be/6feACA0N96U?t=162 - The driver in this video has successfully reconnect to the lobby and there are no signals of any kind to show him when he gets the control of his car back. You can't prepare yourself for anything since the AI is doing the final steering movement before the player takes over. How would you feel driving around a street circuit, fighting for the championship and having no idea when you get the control of your car back after rejoining a session? Don't great, I assume. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J1AOStOJYmQ&feature=youtu.be We just don't understand the thought process behind such a decision to remove that feature which is implemented since F1 2015 or even longer before where you get the 5 red lights at the start of a flying lap in Time Trial. F1 2019 had the lights after a successful rejoin and I am absolutely certain that NO ONE in the period of F1 2019 being the current F1 game that they want that feature removed. Please add this back in.
2. A detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here. - If you are the host of a lobby and therefore the creator of a lobby, your lights will go out earlier. Platform - PC What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen) - First clip: Version 1.05 | Second clip: Version 1.06 (is still a thing in Version 1.10) Game-mode? - Multiplayer, Unranked lobby We need to be able to make your problem happen internally so we can fix the issue. Can you make the problem happen again? - Create an Unranked lobby in multiplayer with at least 2 people (more might be better), put a race of 50% length (also try it with any distance, we didn't try any other than 50% so far), formation lap and manual starts enabled and then see if the lobby host'S lights go out earlier. How do you make the problem happen? - Let a competing driver host the lobby of a race that has 50% distance, put formation lap on and manual start and see if the lobby host's lights go out earlier. What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue - We had to fix this with a rule that no driver is allowed to host the lobby anymore due to the fact that they would get an unfair headstart and everybody else didn't. Since then our casters are hosting our lobbies. Meanning a spectator has to host our league racing lobbies. What peripherals are you are using (gamepad, wheel make & model etc) - The drivers in the clips below are both using a racing wheel. Any screenshots or video of the issue? If the video is long, please include a timestamp for when the issue appears. - Hermann26, the Alfa Romeo (who is me) was also the lobby host. No jump start penalty was applied. https://youtu.be/9kirDycz-LM?t=5820 JJ, the Mercedes in P2, was also the host. https://youtu.be/ug55RQ34zr8?t=5450
3. A detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here. - A driver has had a disconnect at the start of the race and after finishing the races and therefore crossing the finish line he jumps to P1, removing the rightful P3 from the podium (which is a shame considering the effort you have to make, at least in our league to get there) Platform - PC What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen) - Version 1.07 (issue still exists with V 1.10) Game-mode? - Multiplayer, Unranked lobby We need to be able to make your problem happen internally so we can fix the issue. Can you make the problem happen again? - Start a race with at least 2 people, 50% race distance, leave the lobby (or fake disconnect: pull out your internet cable) at any stage in the race, reconnect, take control over the car and finish the race in any position EXCEPT P1. Then check if you are also jumping into P1. How do you make the problem happen? - By leaving or disconnecting from the lobby at any stage and then finish the race in P2 or lower. What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue - Nothing, programing issue once more. You can prevent disconnects. What peripherals are you are using (gamepad, wheel make & model etc) - Driver "Crysii" uses a racing wheel. Any screenshots or video of the issue? If the video is long, please include a timestamp for when the issue appears. Driver "Crysii" leaves the session at the start of the race. https://youtu.be/AFZYKeYAThA?t=5870 Driver "Crysii" crosses the line in P14, jumps to P1 and pushes P3 off the podium. https://youtu.be/AFZYKeYAThA?t=8363
4. A detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here. - The Safety Car teleports behind the leader and crashes into leader, causing him to get disqualified. Report code: JETM-TEPA-VEVP-HKKG Platform - PC What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen) - Version 1.10 Game-mode? - Multiplayer, Unranked lobby We need to be able to make your problem happen internally so we can fix the issue. Can you make the problem happen again? - We had this bug in F1 2019 before and I think it is linked to 100% races since that never happened in our 50% leagues since the first encounter of that issue and now. How do you make the problem happen? - We don't know. But I can tell you that we had ghosting off, 100 race with short qualifying, damage full, we are all from Europe (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). More information can be provided if needed. What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue - Nothing since this issues seems to be a programming issue and we obviously can't fix that by ourselves. What peripherals are you are using (gamepad, wheel make & model etc) - The driver in the video is using a racing wheel. Any screenshots or video of the issue? If the video is long, please include a timestamp for when the issue appears. - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIbwXQxAvBw

Skipping Q1 starts the race

Hi @RedDevilKT, I get the logical aspect of this idea, but in terms of a league racing aspect it is a horrible concept. A Short Qualifying session, since you are arguing with the the real Formula 1, is unreal meaning it doesn't feel like the real thing and is anything but entertraining, espcially when you are streaming your league races like we do. Secondly, I wish you guys had told that at the beginning of the game's life cycle, asking you once again for more transparency on the things you do and therefore consistency since this is costing us racing league leaders our free time a lot more (more details provided if asked). Thirdly, we are not against changes, but just having the abilitity to turn it on or off would help. Same goes for the grid penalties in practice sessions. We are in a league racing environment and we existed before F1 2019 where you guys brought the league system to life and sadly our concept can't be applied to your own, ingame league system meaning we are lacking improvement of life changes for Unranked lobbies, e.g. being able to turn off penalties [grid and under SC/VSC penalties for collisions], since we are handing them out under our own league rules. Greetings, Hermann26 PS: If there is a thread for suggestions regarding league racing on your game, please let me know. I love your games sine I started playing them and the enjoyment and pride to own a league with 60 drivers and nearly 5 years of experience is something truly amazing, but I also want the best for my drivers and I am here to discuss changes to make your game even better, I want to help. If there just was a council for league racing owners that can discuss topics with you guys at Codemasters who are working on the F1 game...that would be great. :]
6. A detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here. - When you are in a lobby with a full qualifying session turned on and you want to skip Q1 because you are 15 or less drivers, you are skipping the full qualifying (Q2, Q3) session instead of only Q1 and end up loading into the race. -------------------> JXDE-JSPV-MXPA-RSJE <---------------------------- Platform - PC What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen) - Version 1.10 Game-mode? - Multiplayer, Unranked lobby We need to be able to make your problem happen internally so we can fix the issue. Can you make the problem happen again? - Set up an Unranked lobby (multiplayer) , enable "Full Qualifying" and put a race of any distance, have at least 2 drivers in that lobby and start the session. After loading and being in your car, retire your car from the pause menu. If everyone in that lobby did that, you will, after pressing "Advance" when the Qualifying 1 result table is shown, load into the race and not Q2. How do you make the problem happen? - By retiring your car from a Qualifying 1 session in an Unranked multiplayer lobby What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue - None since we can't go around that. To go around the issue not being able to have a real qualifying session to determine the grid order, at least one driver hast to set a valid lap in Q1. If every other driver retires after one driver set a lap, you will advance to Q2. What peripherals are you are using (gamepad, wheel make & model etc) - The drivers in the clip were on keyboard for this test, but I am very sure since we are not racing in this clip, that this has no impact on the problem. Any screenshots or video of the issue? If the video is long, please include a timestamp for when the issue appears. - https://youtu.be/rboLswBMHCA Greetings Hermann26
7. Yeah, I saw this yesterday that hte report codes are back in the pause menu and yes, I know that this issue with the identical laps is difficult to replicate, but not impossible I hope. Greetings, Hermann
8. Hello Barry, thank you soooooooooooooo much, I really wanted to post those codes but I was firstly sure, that we wouldn't have to enable them (and that they were enabled by default) and secondly that you didn't removed then. Finally. :] And glad you are looking into it. I have more reports to come and wanted to ask you if I can continue posting like this. Greetings, Hermann
9. A detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here. - The driver in the clip, link below, didn't have enough session time left and didn't cross the line in time for a last qualifying attempt in Q1. Out of frustration he tried to crash himself into the wall below the Monza podium. While doing that he crossed the inner white line and received the message "This and previous lap invalidated - Exceeded track limits" which left him on the time sheets in P20 with "no time set". Platform - PC What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen) - Version 1.06 Game-mode? - Multiplayer, Unranked lobby We need to be able to make your problem happen internally so we can fix the issue. Can you make the problem happen again? - No since we do not know what caused the issue in the first place How do you make the problem happen? - [Pure guessing] Crossing the inside white line of the start/finish straight, below the podium and apparently it makes a previous set and valid lap invalid. What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue - None, it has do with programming and we can't change that ourselves What peripherals are you are using (gamepad, wheel make & model etc) - XBOX One controller Any screenshots or video of the issue? If the video is long, please include a timestamp for when the issue appears. -> https://clips.twitch.tv/TrappedQuaintStorkBleedPurple
10. A detailed description of the issue. Please include any error codes here. - When two drivers set an identical lap time in any session (P, Q, R) they will be sorted by name and not by time, meaning no matter how early you set your time if your name starts with "Z" you are screwed. There are no report codes since the launch of this game and yes, I am very aware where to find them since I have played F1 2019. Platform - PC What version of the game you are using (Shown on the start screen in the bottom left corner of the screen) - My example was on the 1st August, 2020 so Version 1.06 Game-mode? - Multiplayer, Unranked Lobby We need to be able to make your problem happen internally so we can fix the issue. Can you make the problem happen again? - Yes, have 2 devs drive the exact same time in multiplayer or check with the help of the AI by programming them to set 2 specific, identical lap times and check if they will be sorted by name. If not, you have to do it with players. How do you make the problem happen? - By setting the exact same lap time by 2 different drivers/players in any session in an Unranked lobby. What troubleshooting have you attempted? Please always try to attempt to fix the issue - None, since there is no way for the players to reprogram it. Only thing you can do is not to set 2 identical lap times and we know that if this was the solution to it, I wouldn't be writing this report. What peripherals are you are using (gamepad, wheel make & model etc) - Both drivers were using a racing wheel and pretty sure you don't need the exact names of them to solve that issue Any screenshots or video of the issue? If the video is long, please include a timestamp for when the issue appears. - [Start the video at 1:44:53 if the link is not working OR use this alternative one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6IkObmGzE3Y&t=9493s] You can see that the driver named "General-JJ37" has already set a lap time. The driver named "duza" (currently spectated) will set the exact same lap time as "General-JJ37". Instead of duza jumping to 2nd in the timing tower because he set his lap later, he ends up on provisional pole position. Take Jerez 1997 for example. If all these 3 drivers would have been sorted by (sur)name, we would have had Frentzen on pole, Schumacher P2 and Villeneuve in P3. I hope I didn't forget anything and the proof that report codes don't exist like they did in F1 2019 are the two pictures below. In the bottom right is only my steam name, nothing else.
