  1. Any chances of getting this stage remastered? My favorite rally in Dirt Rally 1 is by far Greece, but I love Wales too as it's a great rally close to where I live, so getting Sweet Lamb back is a must, and the sound inside the forest was spot on.

Well I guess it makes sense, it an already finished product so the will just probably release the remaining DLCs and minor bug fixes. It's a shame as my connection often works in 56kb mode, I guess I will pass this time, see you in the next Dirt edition guys!

Having a extra rally game is awesome as it's good for anyone loving rally. WRC7 can be improved in many ways and so it does Dirt Rally 2, so I hope we see a step forward in WRC8. For me I see the two games as: Dirt Rally 2: - Physics (they are not close to real life, but they are fun and that's important in any game). - Collisions. - Good graphics. - VR Support. - WRX even though for people like me who likes pure rally is something it could be removed, but it's a positive. - Great stages but low amount. - Bad performance. - Good selection of cars including historical ones. - Price is too high. - Meh career mode. - Hype based experience (no demo). - Crappy DLC system, online requirement, bugs and also a few more bugs. WRC8 (based on 7): - Meh physics (as far as Dirt Rally from real life but less fun to drive). - Collisions feel more like bouncing. - Great graphics. - No VR Support. - Clean focus rally experience, you and the road, nothing else. - Awesome stages and multiple countries (a step ahead Dirt Rally) but some of them need improvement. - Bad performance. - Official rally cars, if they add old ones then awesome. - Fair price. - Meh career mode. - Experience based hope (no demo). - No DLC based, no online requirement and they fix bugs quicker (some of them).

Will you buy it at later stage? I'm on the same boat. Wanting to buy it and I've delayed it, but now I'm thinking about not getting it at all.

Are you Mesa, who gave the name to mesa drivers in Linux? You definetly deserve to be a game tester, you pic more issues in 1 hour than the whole influencers/press thingy since Dirt 4.

I'm looking into this not been always visible in the first page of the forum, I will update you as soon as I have more information. This is by no means an easy task without affecting other threads and comments from people.

Yay! Nice the developers will be answering questions. A few years back there was an article where one of the devs was explaining how the stages were created, even explaining technicallities. I hope is not a hyped marketing chat.

To be honest this forum seem to be as buggy as the game. Why some comments are listed in Spanish, Italian or French? So I might have misunderstood you.

Calm down! It's as simple as not buying the game, money is what hurts the guys taking the business decisions about Codemasters games.

Yay! Awesome! Nice to see they take time to remaster an impresive game like Dirt Rally. Any chances this can bring DLCs to the owners of the original one? Maybe cross game play? I can wait to play in rainny Greece!

    DiRT Rally 2.0 - V1.1 - found a bug? Post it here!

Many of us thought the same after Dirt 4 and we are waiting for the game to be completed before giving any money to Codemasters. The game is not ranking particularly well in the UK charts during the first week even though its a British game. That might be an indication of some people getting tired of the same problems. Still some people will buy it blind, which I understand if you are a rally fan, but not if you think twice about what they have done in the past. I don't know if they have financial problems or they need to release in a rush to keep the investors happy, but I'm almost sure that the way they are doing things they will not be season 3 (even season 2 could be changed as per terms and conditions) and Dirt 5 will be £90.

That might be an extra weather condition known as "black ice". I bet you've got the Deluxe version.

So the translation of this could be that it's not really broken, it's just the way it was designed. So I guess it won't be changed the same way the physics weren't fixed in Dirt 4 because it was affecting all cars and it was too much work. See you in Dirt Rally 3.0 (aka Dirt 4.2)!

Codemasters should react faster. Everyone knows how game reviews work now adays and how easy an idea spread. The game can have potential, but with all the problems the game have they have done nothing for 2 weeks, and that's a lot of time. They could at least explain the plan and release small fixes, they have gone quiet as in Dirt 4. Im sure the next thing will be: they have been working hard, much more to come, etc, etc. It's sad, but it looks like another game that will die early. You can not just base your game and player base on hype. And after all is a £70 game, that's an expensive one, people have rights to want a Deluxe support.

It seems like the technology is too advance, only Codemasters have the clue to understand it so far. But I trust them, the said its awesome.

Is this for real? I guess we could buy a few copies of the game just in case. That's the future of gaming. #NewProfileNewKeyYesBuy

It's Racenet protecting Racenet from cheaters. It's an AI technology developed by Codemasters to keep the users happy with fair leader boards. Imagine what people could do if they were allowed to restart their progress! They could look like they have always been that good! That way you can also track your progress.

And... here they are. So Codemasters customers are angry and Codemaster cheaters happy as always. I don't know what kind of verification the sever does (it would be helpful if they could explain it so we can make recommendations). But the always online does not add any extra layer of security apart from hanging a server even more (hence the connection problems).
