ok. This shouldn't be possible and CM has to look into it. Have you filled a bug report?

What has it to do with flashbacks? Do you want to say you can achieve a round under a minute by using flashbacks?

I think it's way to unbalanced. First @TheCroc84 is right, R&D should cost resource points and money. Second the income is to high, upgrade costs for departments are to low and damage costs are a bad joke. In my opinion a backmarker team should really struggle with money minimum first year. If you crash the car you shouldn't earn money, you should loose a big amount of it. If you get problems with money you should be forced to shut down departments, like @martbloke said. If you look at the picture above i think 115k for facility running costs are a joke. Maybe for electricity and water, but what is with personnel? You have six different facilities and only 115k per week for all? Compared to 200k from only one sponsor. Money in the game is a nice gimmick, but it has nothing to do with management.

I preordered the game and didn't know there was a myTeam mode until i saw the first youtube clips. So, the answer is yes.

So much beautiful liveries. It makes me jealous. I think i have to go back to spend more time designing my car.

From my point of view it would all be way easier if the clutch would work every time and not only at race starts. So we could practice race starts if we want and could get a feeling of a good start. I didn't know why it is programmed that the clutch didn't really work, only at race starts. I have a wheel with dual clutch and potentiometer for clutch bite point. It's impossible to find the right value without practicing race starts.

I normally drive in T-Cam and that is where i don't bother so much with setups. It feels different than cockpit cam. The same setup from T-Cam to cockpit can feel way to harsh. What i am missing in cockpit cam is to set the camera way more to the front. It would like to adjust the setting so that the rim is out of the view and is from perspective at the place my real rim is placed. So i would say i would try a back nose cam. I think the overall view would be horrible, but maybe in a few years we will get triple screen support and can adjust the camera to our real seat.

I don't think so. The difference between "a) second gear, lights out release clutch, accelerate and b) first gear, lights out, upshift into second gear, release clutch, accelerated" could be measured, but i doubt you will really notice it. Or is it blocked to upshift into second before you have fully released the clutch? I never tried it and never had the need to start in second gear.

Same discussion 2018 and 2019. Sad they didn't implement 75% this year. 50% is always a bit short and doesn't feels right for race strategy. 100% are a big step and can be really hard. For me especially on tracks like Monaco. 78 Laps high concentration is really hard for me. I would love 75% races.
-
That would be great, but i fear it would result in two weeks designing a car without driving.
-
This seems not ok. I'm not far in the game, but after watching some seasons on youtube, most people had no problems with early changing parts this year. The difference is they all do 50% races.
-
I thought the same. Didn't see any difference in upshifting before lights out or immediately after lights out.

What i mean is, if Spain is a weak track for you and your normal difficulty would 75 for example, you would be nowhere near Hamilton. So you have to lower it to 50 to get near. On other tracks you are better and you realize 50 is to low, because it's calculated by a personal weak track. That's why i proposed to test Silverstone and Bahrain too. I mainly set the difficulty by running tests in Melbourne. I think it's an average track for me and AI. This means i will be maybe a bit better in China or Austria (AI weak tracks) and worse on tracks like Silverstone, Bahrain or Spain (strong AI tracks).

Hope it will be fixed soon. This looks like a real game braking bug.

My Team - Performance just disappeared during race?
Akkan74 replied to SmokeyJoeSr's topic in F1 Chat
Or maybe engine overheating due to exessive use of rich mix. If the engine goes red, you will loose power. -
This absolutely depends on what you prefer. I never did it in the past. After i found my difficulty i let it locked. Means i had some tracks where i could made a unexpected good result compared to my car performance, where on others i was way behind. For me it was something i had to deal with. The only reason i adjust the difficulty over a season is, if i get better over time (e.g. way less lockups, because i got used to trail breaking).
-
Can't really say what went wrong, but it could be that Spain is a weak track for you. So you had to lower the AI way more than it should be. I would also try Bahrain and Silverstone. These are also strong AI tracks.

This is also different from player to player. First the tyre bug is patched. Other bugs in myTeam mode can happen. Some people say they never experienced a bug and some say it's broken. In my opinion it is worth the money and CM is working on future patches. The price will not drop so fast in the next weeks. So if you can handle some maybe bugs, than buy it. If you are a carefully guy wait for more patches.
-
Understood your position, but i hink it would be better to bump the bug report instead of creating new threads about the same matter.
-
Nobody can answer if it's worth for you. Some will say no some yes. There are bugs until now. I've had none luckily, other had some more. It could be that we see a perfomance update in the future. Maybe it will alter your career or you have to start a new one. But again, the decision has to be made by yourself.

Btw nice wheel and nice lcd. The lcd is the reason i bought a new wheel. Hope it will arrive soon.

Why you are always so negative? Don't say it's ignored if you don't know. Let them look into it and find a solution. Do you expect an immediate reply and a single assistance? They have a lot of things to do at the moment. All you can do is write a bug report and be patient. Spamming the same matter again and again doesn't help and makes the forum much more confusing.

I have also two rotarys at the side. One for Fuel +/- and one for ERS +/-. I have also assigned one Button as Overtake button. As i understood it right i could use the button in race and practice, but the rotary did nothing and i could use the rotary in Quali, but the button would do nothing. That was my understanding how it works and thats the understanding i have used for button binding, but i have to test it first. At the moment i did a lot of TT, where i only use the button for overtake. My new wheel has a lot of buttons more and two rotarys more. I hope this is enough for all functions.
-
You don't need to use shortcuts for MFD. You could do it also by going up/down and left/right in MFD directly, if you assigned buttons to this options.

Another thing, i also mentioned last year, would be to implement negativ effects to R&D. Maybe only for major upgrades, where you get a big boost and then also a minor negativ impact. If you don't upgrade your car in a stable way you could get really worse in some areas (tyre wear or fuel consumption...). As an example you boost your engine at the cost of less durability, or you upgrade downforce at the cost of more tyre wear... etc. That would make R&D a bit more complicated and you would have to think twice if it's worth or not. This combined with higher costs and longer upgrade time would make it way harder to decide what to do.
