What do you mean? Those little rocks that were only visible at the start of a stage? It was only a visual effect AND it always looks the same.

But are there any other random rocks? I'm 131 hours (I've been playing for the past two months) in and didn't notice anything like that
I think I have played about 300 hours and I remember seeking 1 or 2 random rocks in wales lol, but it is true. Pretty interesting

    Sorry, (not sorry).

  2. LOL, I'm such an expert cryptographer  ;D

Okay, fun fact in return. The cheat code for CMR2.0 "TURNONTHEICE" was a secret I originally added to the game as two samples that played on loop, a normal one for the interior, and one with a filter so you could just hear the bass for external views. The sample I originally used was from the immortal tune: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-ng7rl5pzM&feature=youtu.be&t=1m7s

They don't make music like that anymore...

3:30 pm in UK maybe we’ve been trolled again.
Yeah, it does seem rather late for an announcement. I guess there is still a (perhaps unlikely) chance that CM will post a trailer last thing on a Friday and let us all have a meltdown over the weekend.
1pm this Monday or the one after, trust me, DiRT Legends will be announced then.

I have been wondering for a while a way to work Solberg’s name into a DiRT title, but I couldn’t come up with anything that sounds good.
    Dirt: Mountain of the Sun?
Dirt: Black Gold of the Sun

    :D

OK code breakers, get on it!
If only somebody had recently posted a code...

Anyway, no mistake Ryu, I prefer to the Evo IV to the VI. Had a better livery and made a name for itself in gaming earlier in the original Gran Turismo, V-Rally, Colin McRae Rally and unlockable in the home version of Sega Rally 2, etc. ;)
    But... but... CMR 2.0  :'(
I waited for the Dreamcast version of CMR 2.0
    Then Codemasters cancelled it.
The Evo IV had already made its mark by then anyway. :P
Hey, I worked on the Dreamcast version of CMR 2.0, then Codemasters cancelled it!

Code the VMU management screen they said, it'll be fun they said...

    This thread!!

My first job after university was at Codemasters, coding CMR 1, 2 & 3. Things blur into one, but I definitely remember coding up the 3-2-1-GO  :D

I'm going to have to watch all these videos now  :D
That is awesome man! I loved going back and playing this game, even if I am still pretty bad at it!
Ha, sounds like me playing DiRT Rally. I enjoy it, but I'm not exactly top tier material. I did break through 100 hours on my personal Steam account today though. One thing I would say with modern driving games, is that they have a lot more scope for driving just for enjoyment. I can only imagine what they'll be like in another 17 years  :D

  6. @MrJamieLowes I made a full playthrough of the expert championship in CMR2.0 - watching this, you'll have even less time on your hands. ;) You can thank us later.

That's my lunch breaks sorted for a while then  :D
