  1. I think you can have up to/just over 100 cars on track in rFactor from 2005 (and rFactor engined games). So I would assume a (high end) PC might be able to handle it! Especially if Stadia streams from one, potentially?

Off topic, but this trailer just dropped, looks cute!
  3. That's fine, but the rest aren't! There are plenty of games with laserscanned tracks (maybe not every circuit, but many). When I watched Lando Norris playing Montreal finding it surprising that the track had hills in the wrong place, etc, and saying iRacing is better (laserscanned) then it tends to reflect badly on the official F1 game!
  4. I remember back in the day, when Geoff Crammond's Grand Prix series went head-to-head with EA's F1 series, with other licensees like Eidos' F1 World Grand Pri, Ubi Soft's F1 Racing Championship, etc. In fact you can compare most PC titles (not all, as I have a few still to add from more recent times) on my YouTube playlist (press play then the forward/backward buttons to step through the games, or the playlist icon top-right). Currently 129 games included:
  5. Laserscanned tracks at some point perhaps?
  6. Regardless of the argument above, I hope the 3+4 season stuff gets a discount at some point; I like to pay around £25-£30 for a game, not so much for DLC that's a lot of stuff from DR1. Hopefully Black Friday might bring a discount?

    DiRTy Gossip about WRC8

I was trying my new G920 wheel on a fwe games last night and thought Dirt Rally 2.0 looks way more realistic than WRC 8, which looks a bit plasticky. Also the sharpen graphics filter always seems to be on, to some degree. I've still not got a wheel dialed in for V-Rally 4 or WRC 8 yet...

And we know where the Driveclub devs ended up... oh 😛

I'm still waiting to play it; CDkeys bumped the release date back to the 19th, I just checked and they've sent me a Steam key?! But the Steam version isn't released until Sep 2020! Either I have a long time to wait or they've somehow got access to the Steam version early, I dunno. Am asking them, as they say it's an Epic Games Store key on their site...

I think when I have a play around, the cockpit hands seem to match 360 degrees, but it depends on the car I guess. I often use 270 as my old MOMO Force only went that far, and many games expect that, but obviously with things lik DR2.0 you can use the full 900, if you want a crazy workout!

1, 2, 3, 4, 5... compare the McRae Rally series (not added the 2013 one or DiRT yet though!): Part of my "Every PC Rally Game" playlist, which has nearly reached 2005(!): https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLYDobL0b26ugFuXASCIC9qmFb9_k4_fqU

I've been continuing to make videos of every rally game on PC on YouTube. Xpand Rally had a driver injury system where you could (apparently) die, and you'd lose your saved profile if you did!

    Possibility of Purchasable Skins?

Why can't we have the one from Colin McRae Rally (mobile/Steam) 2013?

It releases next week, but there's still no page on the Epic Store to buy it! Although CD Keys has it for £20.99...
