Simple answer to everything. Get the fastest gfx card you can afford, i5 cpu. 16 gb ram (debatable 8or16). Everything else is a bonus for what you have left... ssd, etc The price difference between 8 and 16GB of RAM is so negligible these days compared to the rest of the cost that you might as well go for 16, SSD though is most definitely worth the money even only for the OS Not in Portugal. 16GB is exactly the double of the price of 8GB and if I choose to go with 8GB (DDR4) the money I safe is enough to buy an 120GB SSD.

real life 2020 FIA World Rally Championship
Azoresst replied to Fedemaisonnave's topic in DiRT Rally 2.0
Meeke is off the SS14 stage. -
Just saw this one now, nice interview to read: https://twitter.com/Kick_Up/status/829395500621320208 But the most interesting question, IMO, was this one: LMSA : Will you model Luke Harvey’s Peugeot 106 GTI in DiRT 4? Do you have any future projects as co-driver or as driver ? PC : Sadly not, we have introduced the Peugeot 205 GTI as there are probably more of those used in junior competitions than the 106. I’m hoping to do some more co driving with Luke or Jon Tucker later this year or early in 2018. Hopefully I can get a few more finishes because I’m hoping to upgrade to an International FIA Navigator license soon.Sadly we won't see @Rallycameraman Peugeot, but @KickUp plans for the International FIA Navigator license sounds awesome!

Too much DiRT 4 for Meeke, apparently: https://twitter.com/RallyingUK/status/828324595128209411 -
@KickUp Just a quick question: can we do custom championships/events in the career mode to earn credits like in DiRT Rally?
-
Sadly the vfx won't be quite that fancy, we still have to hit 60 fps :P Even on PC? :'(
-
I wouldn't be surprised if that happens until the DiRT 4 release.

Its been said that cars are no longer grouped by age, but on performance instead, so the 2000's are likely just regrouped within some other class Pretty sure the MODERN RALLY R5 Up to 2000cc (4WD) part of the list are separated, it should've been MODERN RALLY: R5, Up to 2000cc (4WD),.... Two different classes. Mr. Coleman forgot the commas :D There you go: https://twitter.com/Kick_Up/status/827242562616455168

I was following the Reddit AMA and one thing that I noticed is that Paul said the max stage length is 13km, but it was mentioned here (I think) by @Rallycameraman that there was a stage with 18km. Can you talk about this again @Rallycameraman?

According to Christina the DiRT show should be up within the next 2 hours!

https://twitter.com/sound_fx/status/825104524251643909 Dunno about the rest but I would assume that some cars are in the same situation (pretty much final except for the mix), It could be purely the fact that I'm not used to hearing cars from Chase Cam, but both the Evo & 205 didnt sound how I expected? :/ Can you tweet at Dave? I'm sure we will answer you. If you can't let me know and I'll ask him.

I believe it's 12 stages per event and 12 events per championship. (Because it fitted nicely on the screen) Well on one of the gameplays posted, there was 6 event slots and 12 stages slots, for a moment I thought the "Mystery" location could mean something and not because "it fitted nicely on the screen". B) That's 6 location choices (including Mystery). When you set up your championship I believe you can choose up to 12 rounds. The big question is, what is the Mystery location? A sixth one or a random one? :o

On the last page Paul said that the Evo X will make into the game, so I doubt that we will see the IX (at least for Rally), but lets wait for a confirmation.
