From DiRT facebook: " We've got PvP Rally and Team Development, and we're not going to suck anything pal.". So for those who asked, PvP Rally is a go. And there'll be a "DiRT Show" next week.

My honest opinion about DiRT 4: I'll buy it, don't know If it will be in June, but I was expecting a "true" DiRT Rally sequel focused on both Rally and Rallycross and like @RyuMakkuro said I wouldn't mind to wait until 2018 for the "next game". I'll wait to read more info about it, but like @bogani said around 50 cars seems many of current cars are being left out and 5 Rally locations seems a bit low, I wish this time they release DLCs with locations (specially Finland and Monte Carlo). About the new disciplines, I will probably drive them one or two times, I believe that can be fun, but it's not a must have for the game. "Your stage" sounds interesting, but I will need to see more details about it, If it can create a realistic/accurate feeling then it will be a great adittion. The improved Career and Rally School are without doubt great adittions. About "Your Stage" for those who tried it out, it's just a temporary thing or can we save them and drive later? WIll it be part on the career?

So the game releases on my birthday. :#

According to Eurogamer: "For more traditional rally, Dirt 4 boasts five locations - Australia, Spain, Michigan, Sweden and Wales" So 3 new locations (from DR - Michigan was present in D3, right?) but some dropped from DR.

About RX: "FIA World Rallycross Championship, Dirt 4’s tracks include Montalegre, Lohéac Bretagne, Hell, Holjes and Lydden Hill. "Source: Polygon

real life 2020 FIA World Rally Championship
Azoresst replied to Fedemaisonnave's topic in DiRT Rally 2.0
Hum, I would agree with Neuville, Paddon and Meeke, but I would include Tanak too, If it wasn't the problems with the car he would have finished in 2nd and he showed some speed and consistency. -

Well the number 13 turn out to be very unlucky for Hyundai. Both Sordo and Neuville with problems. -

IMO this is not the best start at all for this WRC season. Only 8 cars left with 11 stages to go and already a huge gap between the 1st and the 4th (yes, I know that a lot can happen, this is rally, but with only 5 stages, it's a big difference (almost 1 minute and half)). Neuville and Tanak with a strong start, tho. -
Sure, btw what have you done yesterday?

There are 2 patches queuing according to SteamDB, but none of them are actually for the current version of the game, instead they are for a macOS version and a Linux version of the game. Oh, ok. Thanks for the insider info. It's no insider info, just look at the depots on the steam db and you will understand.

Well If it's Fafe at least we will have one done right, since WRC did it wrong

Can you translate that to human language? We missed some chests when playing Destiny and now we cannot get the loot till we do it again next week. :( It barely give exotics to you and you can get it if you have the patience to run the raid again

https://twitter.com/Rushy33/status/719522827536351232?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw From this tweet I can assume the Evo guys will make a new engine or the Ego engine will be "upgraded".

According to Eurogamer (UK sales): "Chart-Track said Dirt Rally beat launch week sales of 2012's Dirt Showdown by 197 per cent. But it's third in launch week sales terms compared to other games in Dirt series, behind Colin McRae: Dirt 2 and Dirt 3." But the sales charts are only for physical copies, the digital market for consoles is bigger now then when DiRT 2 and 3 were released.

Just saw this on Twitter, I assume that DR did well on sales (at least in UK): UK Video Game Charts (Week ending Apr 9): 1. Quantum Break2. DiRT Rally3. The Division4. FIFA 165. Far Cry Primal

If game price is a reason to go for consoles, then I'm Queen Elizabeth II. Games on consoles are usually about 30-50% more expensive than their PC counterparts. The main reasons for going with a console are indeed the exclusive titles and... simplicity. Or should I say "noob proofness" and complete lack of any... meddling with it. You just turn it on, click play, and off you go. PC's require more than that, which for sunday gamers and generally people who don't have much free time this is a lord Bahamut sent. You can build a more powerful PC than what you would spent on purchasing a console anyway, so price is really not the reason at all. It was up to the previous gen consoles, where each one was enough for about 5-10 years without any changes done to them, so you were better off on the hardware side. But now, with the current gen that is already outdated and new version of at least PS4 supposedly coming out... nope, consoles lost completely on the pricing side. On US/EU market, yes. I'm not sure If you know this, but there are ways for PS4 players (I'm not sure about Xbox One, but I heard there's a way too) to get a brand new game (digital) for ~20€ (sharing it with a trusted partner tho). It's certain that this is not quite the "legal" way (I'm talking about how the games are bought and not the sharing thing) but Sony haven't done anything yet and I doubt they will and no, I'm not talking about the "ghost accounts".

Did a quick run with the 207 S1600 RX. IMO it's a really fun car to drive.
