  1. For Disclosure, links to previous recruitment threads: http://forums.codemasters.com/discussion/4971/pc-horizon-racing-league-fair-and-competitive-racing-for-all-abilities-join-today-win-prizes http://forums.codemasters.com/discussion/4853/pc-horizon-racing-league-hrl
  2. http://forums.codemasters.com/discussion/4853/pc-horizon-racing-league-hrl Just going to leave a link to the original thread in here. Ps. By the way, my best game is league of legends, im not very good though to be honest, maybe i should start hacking ;) Zordo
  3. Just gonna repost feedback on this league from the previous thead for people to then make a decision on. Just going to make one final reply to clear up a few issues, and give some more feedback on this league, so people viewing this thread can make an informed decision of if they think joining would be a good idea. Firstly, I did not "refuse to show my tyre wear". I was asked to upload a ghost of me driving malaysia, to show my driving style + how i could make tyres last so long, i agreed and was going to do this, when gambler changed his mind and said this wasnt needed. I told him thats fine, but I wouldn't discuss this issue again if brought up, he was fine with this. When this issue was therefore brought up again, COMBINED with the new rule in the league that you have to qualify and race on the same tyres [which is clearly aimed to stop my stratagy of starting a race on primes and driving a measured race]. Once I saw both these silly accusations and rule changes, I realised I was going to be attacked every single race and forced out the league, so chose to leave sooner rather than later, as I was clearly being forced out. In regards to tyre wear, here is a discussion on it in the game, which I found after a 2min google search, which is surprising the admins didn't see, as they claim to have made such a through investigation into this issue. http://f1carsetup.com/index.php?/topic/28675-wheel-spin/. As you can see someone says they made a set of tyres last 50 laps in brazil, yet I am accused of hacking for making a set last 15-18 laps. Again, very surprising you didn't see this since the admins made such a "thorough investigation" and concluded "tyre wear is scripted", clearly this was a great investigation, and in no way an attack on someone who was faster than the admins . You also appear to refute my point that people who are faster than the admins are attacked in general. Well this video you yourself have posted to youtube appears to disagree: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=PDlp40zy1gM#t=0 At 1:29, [2te]Gambler [An admin] is clearly shown making contact with another car, going for a rash overtake which forces the other car off the track, and causes himself to spin out. After this happens, he leaves the game in a "rage quit". This breaks the leagues own rules: 2.1 It is the overtaking driver's responsibility to prevent contact from happening. 1.5 Rage quitting is not tolerated here, especially deliberately crashing out, except when you time out. If you have to leave due to lack of time park your vehicle far off the track or park it on an escape of a corner if possible. [Rules found at http://steamcommunity.com/groups/HorizonRacing/discussions/0/624076027587878761/ and posted in the 1st post of this discussion] Which should clearly result in a penalty. However for this race, the other driver in question [who was crashed into] was given a 10s penalty, for a collision which the video shows was clearly not his fault, again, quite clearly an attack on a driver who was / is competative / faster with the admins, and instead of trying to improve, they bend / break the rules in their favour. [Penalties handed out are at http://steamcommunity.com/groups/HorizonRacing#announcements/detail/145569291508134504] Incredibly, you can also see a contact at 4:00 from more poor driving between 2 admins in the league, yet miraculously, no penalty was awarded either way. Again, its quite clear the rules are not applied in the "fair and clean" way that HRL advertises. Again, I am just leaving feedback on my experiances in this league / what i have seen since leaving. The rules are not implemented fairly [I took part in races which were restarted until the admins - in particular Gambler had a good start], and unfair penalties / accusations / rule changes are aimed at players who dare to drive faster than the league owners. In my opinion there are far better leagues out there, and if anyone wants to have a SERIOUS league for competative / clean racing, i highly recommend you avoid HRL. Regards, Zordonado. / Zordo Quick edit: As you can see from this screenshot of the HRL comments page on their steam group, i'm not the only person who has to put up with this treatment, so it's not a "random" or "isolated" incident: http://s12.postimg.org/ggfjwrby5/otheropinion.png From http://forums.codemasters.com/discussion/4853/pc-horizon-racing-league-hrl#latest Regards, Zordonado

Just posting this message i posted in the horizon racing group so people can understand the league. If you are faster than the admins / mods, you are flamed in chat before / after races, threatened with penalties for collisions where you are hit from behind on purpose [for "brake testing"] and ultimately accused of ridiculous things, such as "hacking". The idea this is a "fair clean racing league" isn't true in my opinion, and this is just so people can have a balanced view before they sign up. "Not going to make a too long post, since it will just get deleted. Obviously that isn't true. I spoke to gambler about this after malaysia, and offered to upload a ghost of me driving the circuit / or let him watch. I was told after consideration this wasn't required, and said this is fair enough but i said this is the end of the issue and i wouldnt discuss it anymore. I said quite simply after the fiasco of the malaysia race to gambler i was considering leaving anyhow, as the league was clearly "kids leading kids". The idea of attacking someone who is quicker than you is ridiculous to me, noone complained at gambler when he was 1.5s faster than anyone in the first aussie qualifying, and noone complained at titan when he was miles faster than anyone at the last race [which i am not complaining about, titan won that race by being the fastest, comfortably] My reasons for leaving are partly to do with this, and partly to do with how i disagree with the way the league is run. To me it simply seems if someone is faster than the admins, instead of trying to improve they attack them [the new tyre rules for instance are clearly to stop how i started on primes and drove a measured race while other people wrecked their tyes]. Its also clear the admins take the idea of "clean racing" very liberally. If anyone so much as taps an admins car they are flamed in chat. However if an admin rams another car [as matt did to me in the last race] they are blamed for "brake testing". For those reasons i have chosen im not really interested in taking part in a league, since its just not fun. As i said, good luck with the league, all the best." Zordo
