Don't know if this is still "Unanswered", but I just purchased Dirt 2 from a sister site (Steam Equivalent) a few days ago for PC @ $9.99 (steal of a lifetime, I'll say!). But, the best part was the fact that it was strictly to purchase the Software. After the transaction steam took point and I don't even remember the name of the website I bought it from. Did they ever bring this back?? I'm a old time PS3 Dirt Devil and just recently purchased the classic sequel of the series for PC and am living proof that true love can ( & WILL) Weather any storm.  One would comfortably assume that after so many requests to bring back, or continue, the online servers (basically waving our money in front of the creators saying, "Here.. take it!") -- the company would comply and seek to maintain the sturdy consumer-based foundation beneath their feets.  Is it really too much to ask for?
