Those are some cool cars. Funny to see they all have that Skoda Fabia WRC lookalike rear wing. The only problem is they currently not competing in ERX/WRX :S
I always would wonder how my daily driver, a Volvo V40 R-Design, would look like as a RX Supercar.
it is the same base as the Focus from the Hoonigan team, so it could be a cool looking RX Supercar 😄If Codemasters ever considers a full-blown RX game, maybe they should consider that you can build your own RX Supercar or Super 1600 or something else. Little bit with a builder module like in Need For Speed (but than completly RX focused ofcourse). That you can also choose the engine partner, which gearbox type, which electronics, different aero types, different suspension/damper, etc. 😮 Although I don't think this will ever happen, it is cool to dream about

Lets bring that Marklund Polo back to DR2.0! I already have one driver interested 🙂
Thomas is one of the top guys in ERX and a former NordicX champion and his Fiesta from 2018 is already in the game.
As @PJTierney said, bringin back the old DR1 locations is also easier with licensing, might this also be the case with the cars?
Ofcourse the car is not announced as new paid DLC, but could be as free content (like DirtFish), please?
Thomas Bryntesson (2018 Fiesta already in game)
Sondre Evjen (technically not a Marklund Polo, but a Kristofferson Polo, but very similar mostly) (His RX2 livery was in DiRT4)
Peter Hedström (if I understand well, he took over the Marklund Polo concept now, so I guess the licensing might be now in his hands?)

Aleš Fučík (also a Kristofferson Polo, but again similar to the Marklund spec)
Then there are more (not full-time) Polo in ERX: Christer Dalmans, Daniel Thorén and Alexander Hvaal
And in WRX there were guest entries.

Interesting news, sorry for being a bit off-topic. THQ Nordic took over Milestone

THQ/Koch do also things for Codemasters. -

The aero-free rallycross RS200 is still the best looking in my personal opinion and the primary Schanche RS200 is one of my all time favourites.
There are some interesting liveries. I found now a website who got a nice overview 🙂

A little sidetrack, but booted up Dakar 18 again on the PS4. As I not saw any Dakar 18 topics, I just quickly post it here.
Did the Desafío Inca DLC (its free as far as I know) to have some fun, and I noticed the game has improved on some points.
- It seems the cars go straight. In the beginning they always went to left or right, so you were constanly busy correcting it.
- The buggy type cars (MINI buggy, Pug 3008 DKR) now seem much better to drive, not constantly spinning out.
- The navigator not seems to be shouting constantly anymore. At the Desafío Inca the roadbook is sometimes a bit tricky, so sometimes also just follow your own instinct, instead of the co-driver, who only is activated on certain points. If you just outside that point, it doesn't say anything anymore, till you to far and starts to shout a bit. So important to keep you focus on the roadbook as well than only listen to your co-driver. I not really think this is a bug, but more part of the challenge the game offers.
I recorded all three stages. If you interested, here is the video of stage one.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=czPzaLcDykYThere is another DLC, the Desafío Ruta 40 Rally, which has 5 longer rally stages i believe compared to the 3 shorter but open area stages of the Desafío Inca DLC. I might plan to do that aswell, but than the first time I do it with a car, and possible with one of the buggy (MINI of PUG) and after will delete the game of my PS4 and maybe try it again in a few years. Also have ordered Wreckfest (Deluxe version) to have some fun (and my girlfriend like to crash things). So I kinda can create my own "career" with all of these games. Going from folkrace to rally(cross) to cross-country. 😄

And they removed it... 😢It was ok, but far to limited imo. Logos on strange places, just very few patterns, and for me the most frustrating part is that nummerplates depend on pattern instead of car/series/event

From last weeks weekly AI event

And an AI daily today at NZ. Beautiful scenary, even if its raining

@PJTierney about that Mr Rallycross trophy...
...can we maybe expect the real Mr Rallycross Martin Schanche RS200 livery or a kinda inspired livery of that in the game?

I know the cars have no real headlights, but F1 cars non either. And in F1 2019 they also have a night races including a night Monaco:
Okey, they have streetlights, but you can still put those moveable generator lightpoles from the rally stages to the RX track.
But it is just a suggestion to give the RX racing a bit extras.

I am not a pro, but I managed with a dualshock 4 controller to get this trophy in a daily at Argentina 🙂

If complain about dust, than the game is pretty good.
I only have two suggestions about dust:
- dust should a bit thinner in RX, but should hang longer.
- when jumping, the dust creating stops in DR2.0. Ussualy the car sucks the dust with it in the air and slowly becomes less in the air till it touched the ground again and creates dust. But really depends on the underground and humidity as well. So in Australia this is more than Wales.

42 minutes ago, tbtstt said:Yeah, the big jumps and motorcross style sections look cool, but I don't think rallycross needs gimmicks for good racing and, as has been proven in the past, these "spectacle" circuits just seem to result in drivers getting badly hurt.
Glad that the Euros were on this weekend, so I could watch some proper rallycross!
Well, I do understand, but I got into RX due to DiRT3 and... Global Rallycross.
Although the gimmicks are not needed for good racing, it is ofcourse an USP to attract new fans, together with a Foust, Block and Pastrana. And how more fans there are around the world, the better it is for the future of RX imo.
Most of the times I prefer the old school tracks. If that is RX or if that is with sportscar racing. But I think also the new Spa RX track is cool.
And I think if the NRX track would be in the game, it might be one of the most popular ones. Although it might be a bit difficult due to licensing, NRX is not from IMG ofcourse, but maybe add it might be beneficial for NRX, ARX and WRX. People who liked NRX might follow now ARX and WRX as well. More teams might consider doing NRX. Etc. And this could f.e. result in Hyundai and Honda returning.

1 hour ago, mats27 said:No idea how he managed that, last year most of the drivers were using an electric limiter for the jump to hold them at the perfect speed.
They now had to. I also think it not was the gap jump, but the double wave jump. I not think the last jump either, because the time would have been faster. Still amazing he finished the lap thought, must have been painful with three broken parts.
positive news though, it seems Speed will do a natural recovery without surgery.
It will take eight weeks and I wouldn’t be suprised after that he still need to do a lot of physical and possible mental recovery. His season is definitely over.

I wonder which livery the Peugeot will get.
The 1999 livery is also pretty cool.
Although i expect and also hope the 2001/2 livery will be there. So it matches the 2001 Impreza and the 2001/2002 livery also has the Total sponsorship on it, which still is on factory Peugeot cars nowadays. But on the other side, the 306 Maxi also has the Esso logo's on it, so that shouldn't matter as well.
Also most logo's/brands which are on the 1999/2000/2001/2002 livery are already feutured on other Peugeot in the game. So it should be possible to see some official livery on the 206 🙂
Event the Red tobacco livery could even be possible, as the Evo VI Lancer also kinda has it, and there is the blue/white Porsche as well.

4 hours ago, ianism said:ya Larsson is head and shoulders better than everyone in ERX, eh? hopefully we'll see him back in WRX next year
Although we have a RX topic about it. But Larsson is probably the best RX driver in the ERX at the moment, but also has the best car. Tideman and Bryntesson are also rapid, but their material is I think less good. It is a shame Bryntesson had an engine problem at Holjes, otherwise he would be second in the standings.

owh man, sorry to hear about Speed. Though I not read anywhere it happened with the gap jump. Because I haven't seen heavy landings with than one. There are other jumps which have tougher landings.

Did some events again. (PS4 Pro - no editing, no custome liveries. Pure DR2.0)
Fiesta R5 in Argentina
Impreza S14 at Sweden
Audi S1 RX at Holjës
Possible my favorite shots.
And than also bringing out the S1 at the Estering
Almost can't make it closer to the tyrewall (crappy shot, I hope CM makes it possible to zoom in and out again with R2 and L2)

DiRTy Gossip about DIRT Rally Games
in DiRT Rally 2.0
Posted
New
- Renault Clio RS RX
- MINI Cooper SX1
- Ford Fiesta Rallycross (STARD) (as far as I understand this is Stard's MK7 verion, based on a R5 shell, so completly different than OMSE's MK7)
- Ford Fiesta RXS Evo 5 (this is STARD's MK8 verion, different to the already available MK8 OMSE verion)
- SEAT Ibiza RX
Updated to 2019 spec:
- Renault Megane RS RX
- Ford Fiesta Rallycross (MK8)
- Peugeot 208 WRX
- Audi S1 EKS RX quattro
Dec 17th - 1 new, 2 updated
Jan 14th - 2 new, 1 updated
Jan 28th - 2 new, 1 updated
And I hope the livery packs bring some 2019 liveries to the older spec cars, and some extra 2018 liveries, and some 2019 ERX/ARX liveries. But that is just hope, gossip, speculation so far.
