  1. Im surprised there isn't a full blown IndyCar game as yet. But with Romain in there now and all his online IndyCar content he can generate more interest. I'm pretty sure EA or codemasters will be picking up on this. As for an FE game, to be honest if that series was ran on predominantly f1 circuits it would be a great series. For a game, I can see it being more of a SIM offering.
  2. I feel it's time for a refresh of the current career mode. F3 is a thing and is an exciting series. Why not replace the current career with one that you start in F3 and progress through F2 eventually making it into F1. Most importantly all drivers can move into different series depending on placement at years end...call it F1 Challenge 2022...Which includes the 2022 roster of all 3 series. Atm, the series is becoming too "make believe" now regarding the career mode.
  3. I've always been a Sauber fan.  I've been following f1 since the late eighties where names like Sauber, Tyrell, Minardi, Williams, Bennetton, McLaren, Ferrari were making the sport exciting.  To me Sauber is just as much an iconic name in F1 as much as McLaren is. Sadly, they've now built their team around 1 driver and his financial backing.  It's hard to imagine what will happen to Sauber after Ericsson leaves.  Honestly, that Honda partnership would have been the best thing for the team in the long run.  Although they have a long history with Ferarri, the scuderia wi

  5. Great news for Sauber and even better news for Honda. Can't wait to see what color livery Sauber uses next year.  I'm thinking the primary color will be red or black.
  6. Alonso racing at Indy is a sight of things to come...I'm pretty sure if Alonso does well during the race that he will be staying with Andretti Motorsports for the entire 2018 season. I've always said Alonso, Ricciardo and Hamilton will end up Indy after their F1 days.
  7. Isnt Projects Cars 2 going to be the official game of the Indycar series? I remember reading Ian Bell saying that. It won't have all the tracks from the season but it will have all the teams and drivers. Either way my vote is no. Let them get things right in their F1 games first then we'll see.
  8. Do you think Alonso will be at McLaren next year? I don't. That said, Alonso is working miracles with a crap car and an underpowered engine. If Alonso goes, which is more than likely, what options are available for McLaren? Let's see: McLaren stays with Honda; their driver lineup will consist of Vandoorne and possibly a rookie driver.  Mclaren goes back to Mercedes; their driver lineup will consist of Vandoorne and Wherlein or another Mercedes backed driver.  The future doesn't look good for neither parties after Alonso leaves.  No top driver will sign with McLaren and Honda
  9. That is the current deal with McLaren.  Free engines and Honda foots the bill for Alonso, or at least a good chunk of his salary.  Honda is still 2-3 years behind in the engine game. Data collection is more important to them at this moment in time than charging customers for its power units. Why else would Sauber even consider Honda? Anyone in their right mind would choose a year old Merc engine over the Honda engine unless an attractive offer was on the table, i.e the same offer as McLaren.
  10. If Sauber finish last this year, which is more than likely, they will have no choice but to go with Honda as they will be getting the engines for free plus Honda will be giving them cash.
  11. Might not be my color of choice but it is good to see that they are attracting new sponsors unlike a certain someone...Zak Brown...
  12. Ferrari has the better driver lineup to win the WCC. I think Kimi will be the one to watch over Vettel.  I really do hope Bottas doesn't settle in with Mercedes as a "support" role but I don't see him challenging for leads.
  13. I blame Arivabene for Ferrari's demised.  I still find it hard to believe he is still employed there.
  14. Would be awesome if the safety car gets a livery. Like green and yellow sponsored Rolex car.
