  1. If anything, its more that Hamilton has had clean weekends since the radio ban without any technical/mechanical difficulties.
  2. I agree Chadwick, it completely kills off any side by side action between drivers and its a shame everyone does it.
  3. It's so that the gaps are maintained. For example, Hamilton is leading by 6 seconds and passes through the slow zone. By the time Rosberg gets their, the slow zone is clear and cars are back up to racing speed. Rosberg wouldn't have to slow down, but Hamilton would've done so the gap has come down. See? Then you could just impose the VSC until every car has passed through that zone an equal amount.
  4. It was a joke. sorry if I offended you. sarcasm is not offensive but it is the lowest form of wit, no need to apologise You're not exactly helping yourself with backhanded comments like that to be honest. lol ok im just being honest, nothing backhanded at all You do know you can be offensive whilst being 'honest' too right?
  5. I'm assuming with the soul comment you mean about how Austin has replicated parts of the track from other circuits. All the newer tracks nowadays tend contain loads of boring and uninteresting corners, so I'd rather this circuit have copied epic bits of other track than face that usual criticism. It's made a brilliant circuit in my view, plus Austin has still got it's own party piece in turn 1.  To add to the topic of "soul" as well though I'd personally say it makes up for itself in that by being one of the most unique races on the calendar in terms of surroundings and culture.&nbs
  6. I personally think Austin is an awful track. No soul and all the wide apex entry corners are really awkward to drive on. From a spectators point of view its not so bad though.
  7. What racing games are yet to still be released this year?
  8. And that it has happened after the Russian GP.
  9. Like I said, the Mercedes didn't need to pit for wets whereas others did so there is no 'cut off' point where everyone should be forced to pit. Its not like DRS at all.
  10. And how exactly would you decide what the cut off point is when teams are forced onto wets? Hamilton was saying how they didn't need the wet weather tyres when others were pitting.
  11. Perhaps the FIA should introduce harsher penalties for not complying with yellow and double yellow flags.  Binachi had failed to sufficiently slow down enough for the double yellows considering he was traveling at 130mph on the exit of the corner, in the wet and the rules say that ' two waved yellow flags at the same post means that drivers must slow down and be prepared to stop if necessary'.  A slow down zone shouldn't be necessary in Formula 1. Its not like Le Mans when there's different classes with different speeds which led to awkward situations under yellows when a faster c
  12. Le Mans is a massive track. F1 circuits are not.
  13. I'd be satisfied with that outcome.
  14. What benefits? "Yeah we'll have oil for a few years but after that we'll have literally nothing" I heard someone say you'd have 25% unemployment over night because business would move to the UK.  Maybe don't just rely on what you heard "someone" say.  A Scottish goverment would have had the power to foster the right economy to create jobs. If business leaves, jobs leave. You cannot stop them leaving. Don't forget that the SNP threatened businesses supporting the no vote by nationalising them. :stuck_out_tongue:

Isn't that what you're doing too? It's a debate. Everyone has to decide who's right and who's wrong and the most convincing argument put forward was from the Better Together campaign which was clearly reflected in the poll results, despite
  16. This.  What country rejects their own independence?  We might as well be governed by Mars. When its pretty blatant a country would be worse off independent...
  17. Mercedes have rubbished the claims. Why would Nico purposely go off, locking up and hurting his tyres in the process, when he could simply pull over to make the win hollow for Hamilton. Moreover, why would he do it the first time when Massa was in 2nd?
  18. Great race today. I'm surprised Rosberg isn't kicking himself for giving away the win and a 36 point lead in the championship. Bottas and Ricciardo drivers of the day for some great moves, especially Ricciardo schooling Vettel on how to fight with the dummy move. Only downside is I got my top 6 prediction wrong . At least the top 6 grid slots were Mercedes cars.
