  1. I loved this show with all my soul. Mikuru Asahina 4 lyfe Seriously though, I've never watched a slice of life that balanced all of the elements of a slice of life (humor, sadness, romance, intrigue, daily monotony) so well and so effectively. Kyon is absolutely my personality in a nutshell too which helped my enjoyment a lot.
  2. Just bought both of those blurays in the rightstuf sale, so excited to watch it!
  3. Okay, well, I'm glad you ended up enjoying it. I watched it when it aired so I just remember it being a massive buzzkill when the second arc got going, plus I hated the whole character/subplot with Lyfa. Still, I'm glad it didn't ruin your enjoyment of the show :) I've actually never made an SAO car, maybe I should do that next... As far as what to watch next... what genre are you looking for?
  4. hoo boy. brace yourself for that second arc. It starts at episode 14 I think and personally, I thought it took a serviceably decent show and dunked it in the toilet. Curious as to how you'll like it...
  5. I really have enjoyed Gakkou Gurashi! this summer, and I think everyone's excited for One Punch Man this fall....  I'm really not sure if I want to watch that one! I like cute comedy things and hate horror. I've heard it's both and it makes me uneasy! So I've been watching stuff like... Working!!!, Himouto Umaru-Chan, GATE and so on. Oh, and Shokugeki no Soma continues to be brilliant as well ^_^ It's definitely a cross between a slice of life like K-On! and a psychological thriller/suspense along the lines of Madoka or Mirai Nikki, except with much less portrayed violence than the

  7. 74 episodes is such a commitment that a show has to be genre-defining for me to watch it. I still haven't even watched FMA because of the high number of episodes, and that is genre-defining. Basically, godspeed, good sir.  Never seen it but I'm watching Gakkou Gurashi! this season and it's not your standard moe-girls-do-moe-things show. It's shocked me, I'm totally hooked.
  8. This was from when it was eating my posts and refusing to actually post them, so I kept editing it until it let me POST IT
  9. I always thought rallying would be the perfect motorsport discipline for a romantic comedy anime. I would love to see a short rally anime, similar to Initial D   It's funny you guys bring this up because literally as of a week ago I just started on this giant 18" x 24" piece that is going to be a mock poster/teaser of a rally-based anime. Sort of a slice-of-life/shonen kind of show (sort of like a cross between K-On! and Initial D, if you can imagine that, but with less tea drinking than K-On! and less teenage brooding than Initial D).  I'll post a WIP when I get more d

The genre I was looking to portray in my piece was almost along the lines of slice-of-life/magical girls (except no one is magical, of course - just very good at rally). I'll post a WIP when I get a little more done...

  13. New anime? Nah. But Mirai Nikki (Future Diary in English) sounds like it fits into that category. It's probably five years old by now but it's extremely good.  From what little I've seen of it, Mirai Nikki looks closer to Higruashi than Death Note and Terror in Resonance. I guess those two don't have much psychological stuff, more like thrillers with plenty of witty and clever things. Like a battle of brains rather than brawn.... still not sure how to properly categorise them. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion. That anime is on my watchlist. Hopefully I'll get round to watching it so

  15. @SynGamer, @Britpoint, @scarl3td3vil - it's funny you guys mention a rally anime because I'm actually working on a piece right now for a mock poster/advertisement for a rally-based anime. I'll post a pic when I've got more done, I don't have much yet. My goal is to make it look like a cross between K-On! and Initial D, but on dirt, lol (and with less tea-drinking). With the proliferation of weird titles like Rail Wars! and Girls Und Panzer it only seemed to make sense   And @789ifyz - I never keep up with the current seasons but I'm making an exception this year; I think I'm
  16. I figured you had but I had the template sitting there and I felt like I had to make you at least one Lancer   I'll definitely make some for DiRT Rally going forward, the only thing holding me back now is the FFB being too numb to let me actually drive... I did make one livery so far but it was my "team" lol so I doubt you'll want it. Anyway if you do play through after exams, hope you use it some
  17. Hey @789ifyz  I know it's been forever but I finally made one of your requests for a Mikasa car! I don't know if you're even playing this game anymore now that DiRT Rally is out, but I still play it, so since  I had a little time this weekend I thought I'd throw one together... I'm happy with how it came out and I know I'll definitely drive it, so I hope you like it as well!  It replaces the OXY livery.  high: http://www.4shared.com/file/PuBUFvNeba/mer_tex_high_02.html low: http://www.4shared.com/file/IAjhSG93ce/mer_tex_low_02.html http://images.akamai.ste
  18. I'm still working on making original designs, but I love to draw cars nonetheless - this is a drawing I did of a '70 Hakosuka with Copic markers and Sakura Micron pens on bristol, about 11" by 14". I used a Speedhunters photo as a reference.
  19. Yes, I was playing it on a DFGT last night. needs setting to 270 mode in the logitech setup, or saturation turning down in the game options, but other than that it's fine. thanks! I'll try that later today, I did play with it but it felt weird so I'll try changing those settings, thanks!
  20. God I love this, it was a blast. I know the suggestions are coming fast and furious but I just have two: Can you please make the livery files easier to get to? You guys can't hate modders that much  , and I just tried cracking open a few with Ryder's pssg tool, and it doesn't work, even after unzipping the file a la Grid Autosport (I should clarify, it works for specularity files but not for textures). Also, more forceful feedback when the car is starting to slide out would be helpful - I turned it up to 100% and I still didn't feel slides until it was too late. Things I love to
  21. Has anyone used this with a Logitech Driving Force GT yet? That's what I have and I'm absolutely DYING to buy and start playing this game (I could have sat down on Santa's lap with a wishlist and not expected something better, honestly) but I can't drive without my wheel. If no one's tried it yet I guess I can wait until it's officially supported but that would be painful, so I'm hoping someone's tried it! Seriously though, THANK YOU CODEMASTERS. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED, EVERYTHING IS PERFECT EXCEPT THE RELEASE DATE BEING THE WEEK BEFORE FINALS
  22. ACAT would be nice but at this point I just don't want to be at high levels to have access to certain liveries, since those are the ones I overwrite for putting in new liveries
  23. Hey guys, finally got around to playing some DiRT 3 tonight now that the force feedback fix is in - it's like falling in love all over again! I have a question though - I was hoping someone had figured out how to unlock all cars right off the bat. Previously that was accomplished by just removing database_restrictions.xml, I thought, but that doesn't seem to be doing the trick this time. I would just play through it again but I've already beat it entirely once on PS3 and about 1/2 way on the GFWL PC version, and I know I won't have time to beat it a third time now that I'm working and stuff (g
  24. Lee gives us a list of tracks, car class and deadline. You have 6 days or so to set your times, as many goes as you want, best time counts. Proof of times/car used is required. Times posted after deadline do not count. I'm in :) Awesome! If I can find time with finals I'll definitely join, although I may have to miss the first week or two until everything at school is over with. I'm psyched to get back into DiRT though now that the FFB fix has been released for the complete edition, so as long as it would be okay if I'm forced to miss maybe the first week or two, consider me in!
  25. How's this usually work? I think it would be fun if I can make it work with my schedule... I have DiRT 3 complete edition on both PS3 and PC, as well as GFL DiRT 3 on PC. so I can play on whatever system, although I'm still waiting for the wheel fix on the PC complete edition...
