  1. Worth noting that 'a lot' of people got banned over the last week, most likely on the back of  the festive period.

Lesson to be learnt? Don't cheat, we may not catch you the first time but we will catch you and that ban hurts you more than it hurts us :)

  2. Ok, game has technical issues? Data is corrupted? Antialiasing doesn't work? Let's fire Loore, community manager! Why HQ generator of such stupid ideas doesn't fire himself?

Loore, you're always was patient and grateful. You're the last man I wanted to go. Good luck.

PS. Now you're a player, you can moan with us  :D
Trust me, moaning was something I did quite well :D

Unless he's lying, which I doubt, nobody fired him. It was his decision to leave.
Yup, this was all my own decision. You'll still have @justbiglee‌ and @hatta to poke and prod.

  4. Christmas and the entire festive season has a way of allowing people to take stock of things and during the recent holidays I came to the conclusion that it was time for a new challenge, and as such, this will be my last full week at Codemasters before I drive off into a new and exciting race.

I’ve spent my three years at Codemasters working across a number of games and have at some point worked on each of our major franchises but it was GRID that I would ultimately call ‘home’ and as such I’ll take a number of great memories of that time forward with me.

I’m incredibly proud of what we accomplished together, and it’s not often someone in my position can actually say that. The creation of GRID Autosport, a game born from Community feedback itself is something that will stay with me for many years to come. It really was the game that started to change it all and the future of Community involvement in Codemasters titles has never been more prominent.

Whether it was here on the forums, Facebook, Twitter, in-game or somewhere else entirely, it’s been a blast talking with you; hearing your ideas, reading your feedback and in some cases taking the proverbial bullet from you.

Suffice to say that it’s certainly been memorable and I wish you all the best for the future, the gaming world is very small so no doubt we may cross paths with each other at some point in the future, at least I hope so.

    Goodbye, and thank you :)

    (you'll always be my 5% :P)

  5. The plan was to talk about all of the teams, but unfortunately with only a 9 week gap between announce and launch there was only so much that could be done. In the end I thought prioritising tracks and other features would be a better use of time.

It's not impossible we can dig into them all, most of the information exists it's just a matter of putting it all together in a readable format. If there's a demand for such a thing I can add it to my backlog :)

  6. The only way this will be possible is if you previously had cloud saves enabled on Steam, if not, it's likely the save files went with the old version of Windows.

Of course, this could be different depending on how you installed Windows as if you created a partition to house your old data it could still be there. If it was a 'fresh' install then it'll be cloud saves or nothing sadly :(

  7. Hi everyone :)

As we're now winding down for the festive break I thought I'd stop by and wish you all the best for next few weeks with whatever you may have planned. Be it visiting family, filling up on turkey or playing games all day in your pyjamas I hope it's awesome.

It's hard to imagine that this time last year we were hard at work on Autosport, how time does fly! It's been a great 2014 and now all eyes turn to 2015!

Have a great holiday season and a super New Year, and more importantly, happy gaming :)

@Loore so any possibility of changes to the playlist? If so, I'll let you have my suggestions.
Not for consoles at this time, sorry.
Care to  elaborate on that? Surely it's just a case of changing a few values in a table. Any possibility in the future?
It was looked at but the extra memory required is 'outside of budget', we don't want any more leaks :)

We never say never but it is unlikely at this time.
