Don't panic, it's worth mentioning that I'm level 30+ as I've been playing a bit. Some of the accounts shown may be our QA team / people who have had the game early / combination of both. -
It's a bit more work than just copy + paste, if it was then yes, it'd be great to have access to that full roster of F1 tracks. Think from an art stand point, there's still a lot of work involved there. Plus with things like AI etc, every card needs 'trained' to drive around every track in the game. Then there's licensing as well. Suffice to say, there's a lot of things to factor in!MTonly said:@Loore:
Why not all F1 tracks in Autosport?
Why not all GRID2 tracks in Autosport (California, Cote D'Azur and Miami missing)?
Couldn't they be just copied to Autosport given that the games share the same EGO engine and are (unlike first GRID) quite identical as for graphics? Thanks. We focused firmly on circuits this time around, unfortunately Miami didn't quite make the cut, we decided to bring back San Fran / Washington isntead. -

@P380R1) That's correct2) You can only apply custom made liveries to cars that you own -
We've spoke a lot about Autosport over the last nine weeks but now it's your turn, we want to hear what you think, the likes, dislikes, what you think we've done well, what you think we could improve upon. While this covers game mechanics and features I'd also be interested in what you think we could have done better in the run up, what did you like about the content we put out, would else would you like to see, what could we do better to improve? Please use this thread for all your GRID Autosport Feedback, we look forward to hearing what you think!(EU players, I know it's hard, but please don't use this thread to curse your North American colleagues, your time is just a few days away) -
It's a fictional car made by us :)RobertKNL said:Has anybody got any idea what an ADC Presteza-14 is? I've been googling it for a couple of times, but there is really nothing to find about that car. Is it some kind of concept race car designed by the people at CM? @Loore can you shed some light on that, or will we have to wait and see it for ourselves ;) ? -
We improved the AI lately, after the preview build but before the review build. You should see an improvement in the latest batch of videos that go up, especially after the review embargo later today.KazzyMac said:Nice video. Is it just me or are the AI's braking/racing line massively improved in the build you've got? They seem to be braking far later than they did on the videos I've seen. -
There will always be those retailers who let the game out a bit earlier than they should, that's largely out of our hands sadly :(RobertKNL said:I'm seeing a lot of let's plays of this game on youtube already (most of them on ps3, somehow). I get it that people can get their hands on it early by buying it off the record, but it is really unfair towards the people who came here for the past six weeks and share our excitement :(. Anyway, enjoy the game in a couple of hours, Americans! I can't wait to get started myself the 27th -
At this moment in time they aren't planned to be used in career.Cheesenium said:
I mean, does the DLC cars come with extra fictional team liveries for single player?Loore said:
We'll talk more about the DLC cars later on, but I believe it it'll be a bit of both.Cheesenium said:

The mini-expansions all have single player integration in the form of new championships :)BAB0 said:Will the DLC be integrated to the game career or is it in quick race only and the season pass is for mini-expansion only or it will include car packs?Season pass covers all car packs and mini-expansions.
How about the liveries? Do I get a selection of liveries to choose from? Or I am stuck with the stock manufacturer liveries?
Just guessing, will Touge come back as part of the Season pass? :D
Liveries? You can always use the team liveries and online, create your own.
We'll see, would you like that? -
If you can drift faster than driving properly, I'll be the first to shout at Britpoint, you can't though :)DarkRedslayer said:
If I can be faster drifting than driving correctly, I'm not going to be civil o.o lolBritpoint said:Complaints are fine as long as they're civil. Life would be boring if it just consisted of everyone telling me how great I was all the time. ^_^ -
From 5,000 in game credits up to 6.7mil -
You 'should' be ok :)
Best thing to do is just install it and if it doesn't work you can disable it via the Steam DLC manager. -
Just a note:The Steam date has changed for North America, it's now moved to June 24th in line with the console versions. -
So here we are, practice is all but done and there’s just a few fleeting moments of qualifying left, we’re on the final lap and copies of GRID Autosport are currently being placed upon the shelves of games retailers worldwide. It seems like yesterday since we first announced GRID Autosport to the world, (April 22nd to be exact), and since then we’ve been detailing every inch of the game. In case you missed anything here’s everything you need to know! -
It releases worldwide on Steam on the 27th -

You'll notice the difference. The liveries on the cars will be a lot smoother, especially around any text or numbers.Bob422 said:I have a question about the high resolution pack for pc. And please forgive me if it has already been answered, but I couldn't find it.
Will it make any noticeable visual difference using a 1920x1080 monitor or is it more for people with 2560x1440 and higher resolution monitors?
I'm not worried about the performance hit with 2 GTX780 cards in SLI, just curious as to what resolution is needed to see an actual difference.

The Steam version is the Black Edition,Is worth mentioning that come release day the Black Edition will go, it's only available at this time to pre-orders only.Green Man Gaming also have the Black Edition - http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/gb/en/pc/games/racing/grid-autosport/ -
No, it's worldwide on PC on the 27th.joepineapples said:S does the steam digital version unlock for America on Tuesday?. Thinking we might be able to use a VPN in the U.K and get earlier access too (?). -

I feel the same way :)
Launch day can't come soon enough now! -
You sell to the game, not to other players.BioShockerUK said:you mentioned selling cars, does this mean we can sell car's to other players like in forza or dowe just get a set amount for said car from the game itself? -
We're planning on some stuff focusing around the RaceNet Challenge but I'm quite keen to do some Club based competitions too :)@Hatta has done some great stuff with the Codies F1 Leagues and it's something I'm looking to replicate over here for Autosport. -
Alll depends on where you've bought it from, a lot of places will be different. I'd suggest dropping them an email or support ticket and asking :)garyjpaterson said:@Loore, ive noticed Pre-loading for Steam is commencing. What happens if you pre-ordered a Steam key from somewhere else, will they get supplied keys early so we can pre-load too?My internet is so slow, its probably going to take a couple days to download overnight, and i want to play on launch!
