  1. The "hello i am 13 yrs old lol" font of the driver names on the window doesn't help either. I was wondering whether to mention that for fear of sounding too old - I'm bitter enough about the concept of numbers not being determined by seeding still... Flag, first initial & last name in Helvetica, optional blood group if you want to look cool - driver & co-driver. Time for some Horlicks... Think my beef with the Polo may be how far forward the front wheels are compared to the previous model WRC version. And the flag should be to the front of the car from the name. And the top
  2. SNOW CONFIRMED FOR DR2.0!
  3. Take a look at this: https://youtu.be/DRW61GDIlAY The Porsche should be very stable in terms of body roll. Biggest issues I see in the DiRT Show Porsche footage are three things: 1) the car reacts way too quickly and harshly to steering inputs, 2) car indeed looks like it's "rotating" instead of turning with the front tires as mentioned above and 3) the transition from wheelspin to tires gripping is too quick; it magically finds the grip instantly when the wheels are straight instead of the driver having to end the wheelspin with throttle control. The real onboard video I posted above is a
  4. I pointed that out on Twitter immediately after watching the video but after further investigation I found out that FIA actually multiplied the engine displacement of turbocharged A8 cars by 1.7 for reasons I don't know of. Take a look at this:  https://www.fia.com/sites/default/files/regulation/file/05_BRIDE_GroupeA-22-11-2010.pdf This is also worth reading: ""To determine the cubic capacity of forcedinduction cars a multiplication factor of 1.7 willbe used for Petrol and 1.5 for Diesel. Cars up to2050cc running Forced Induction in modifiedclasses will have their “cc” determined by am
  5. Camaro is eligible for RGT class indeed. Here's what Wikipedia says about the technical requlations: "The technical regulations are described in Appendix J, article 256 of the FIA sporting regulations. The category is for series production GT cars, that must be two-wheel driven. A car with four-wheel drive cars can be used as basis, but must be transformed into a 2WD version. All cars must be fitted with a restrictor whose diameter is determined by the FIA in order to achieve a weight/power ratio of 3.4 kg/hp(4.6 kg/kw)." Car models don't need to be homolog
  6. Can't even explain how much I missed you!
  7. Seems to be a naturally aspirated car because it doesn't have a boost gauge in the HUD. Call me crazy but the bonnet shape really reminds me of Vauxhall Astra Kit-car:
  8. I remember one of the first gameplay videos that popped up from D4, when an Opel Adam rolls over in helicopter view. It picked up momentum during the roll in a very impressive way.  You probably mean this one: https://youtu.be/984Ogu2pbbM
  9. Mobile site's front page has been ruined by some hybrid hoovers
  10. The French recording sessions begin next week, so stay tuned! I'll try and snap some pics. ;)  Tres bon.  Trop bon, faut emmener les baguettes pour en célébrer  https://youtu.be/8nW3-9gdjYA
  11. The bonnet is from a Fiesta R5 99% sure Yep, definitely a Fiesta R5. Here's a bonnet view of Fiesta R5 in DiRT 4:
  12. R2 class is a lot more popular than R3. Also no such thing as BRZ R3 exists because the Toyota GT86 CS-R3 is the only car classified to R3 class from the FR-S/BRZ/GT86 lineup and we all know how the relationship between Toyota and Codemasters is. We’re getting a Camaro GT4, used for racing on normal circuits, in DR2.0, so there really is no excuse anymore not putting in a fake BRZ R3. :D Here is a video of a rally spec BRZ. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GxmrxvmbKYI Technically it seems to be pretty close to the GT86 R3 https://youtu.be/GrKUNB55g3E Of course it's possible to crea
  13. I guess it will be as dominant as Skoda so far in R5 class.
  14. Sorry about "off-topic" but just had a laugh at Assetto Corsa Competizione's update 0.2 changelog which included VR support: 0.2 – Fixed “No VR no buy”

  17. Not sure if the camera angle affects this but the steering column seems very short from the dash to the steering wheel compared to Fiesta R5 for example. https://twitter.com/volkswagenms/status/1048137710601478149?s=09
  18. FTFmyPTSD. Yeah wasn't sure what to call the game since its official title was as simple as "World Rally Championship". :joy:
  19. Just realized that after all this VR support talk the only thing missing anymore is the helicopter camera view guy who filled this thread about posts how the first WRC game on PS2 had perfect heli-cam prior to DiRT 4 release :D
  20. Ehhh... I'm getting into the idea of a kexchoklad simulator in VR. I speak on behalf of Finnish people here and we absolutely need a Kismet DLC for that simulator so we could enjoy it. #NoKismetNoBuy
  21. We have this in Finland and I guess it's the same thing:
  22. That was still the Golf 19:39 https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=54&v=w6NXyxQmMQ0 Yup, still Golf.
  23. Well, actually the often mentioned Richard Burns Rally had this feature.  What? I have zero memories of that other than that there are ruts here and there.  Or are you talking about mods?  No, vanilla game. Have you beaten it? Or at least finished some championships? There are ruts but they get deeper over time depending on your starting position and also some cuts on inside corners get really rough, really fun:]  Interesting. Can't really remember, such a long time ago.  As far as I remember it was only visual, didn't really affect the grip or anything.
