What camera do you use?

Hi guys. Is it possible to adjust the height of the camera while in nose-cam/bumper-cam view? I always thought the default camera for nose-cam was always too low. I'd like to raise it to something along the lines of where Gran Turismo Sport has theirs.

4 Reasons why Autosport is better than grid 2019

Heh. It's funny because there are more reasons why GRID 2 is even better than GAS. Vehicle physics and handling being one of them. I've said it many times and I'll say it again.....the handling in GRID 2 is the most fun in all of the series by far. Drifting around corners in every track never felt so satisfying as it does in GRID 2. The game is a love letter to Sega's old arcade racers such as Scud Race, Sega Rally Championship and OutRun 2. However, if you hate arcade handling in any way, then disregard this post 😛

FFB - thoughts and impressions

Hmm, thanks for the heads up on the FFB. Guess i will wait until a patch is issued before I start playing this game. My Bodnar doesn't like exposing itself to games with lackluster FFB.

Grid Autosport 2?

I don't understand how you guys can say G1 had good handling but G2 doesn't. The handling in G1 was *EXTREMELY* arcade to the max!! I mean the amount of GRIP most of the cars had was LAUGHABLY over the top! The touring cars for example could take most corners with ease and with only the slightest touch of the brakes. The Indy car could take 90 degree turns full throttle LOL!! I love G1 but I mean C'mon guys. Let's not pretend it has even an ounce of sim physics in its handling. G1 and G2 are both arcade to limit. Can't speak about GAS since I haven't played it yet, but plan to when I get my other wheel. I don't expect GAS to be wildly different from G1 and certainly don't expect it to resemble anything close to say iRacing, AC or rFactor. I love sims too but then I want to play them, I play the three games I just mentioned, instead of expecting Codies to make a real sim. Not gonna happen, gentlemen. I love Codies because they make great arcade racers, and hold no shame in doing so. GRID 2 should be accepted as the brilliant arcade racer that it is. It's not a "let down" or a disappointment....in fact it's the complete opposite, and the other 1000 or so players online seem to agree with me. Seems the vocal minority here in this forum don't enjoy drifting. Fine, play GAS, but don't bash those of us who enjoy driving cars that drift. Understand that drifting is a huge culture around the world and Grid 2 is the game that satisfies our needs.

Grid Autosport 2?

Please tell me you are trolling, GRID 2 handling was awful... Heck the whole game was awful. Go back to your Need for Speed or whatever drifty crap you like. Umm, why don't you take some time to do some research in the thread below, before running your mouth. Then you'll see why there are actually MORE Grid 2 players playing online than GAS. Let's start with this post..... http://forums.codemasters.com/discussion/comment/57603/#Comment_57603

Grid Autosport 2?

I'd rather see GRID 4 come to all platforms, with the same physics and handling as Grid 2, nice and drifty. Then give it online cross platform support between PS4 and PC(ie Street Fighter V)

There are more players on Grid 2 than GAS. Why???

Loving the GRID 2 numbers lately. So awesome to see so many people still loving the game. Great work guys, let's show Codemasters we want MORE of this type of arcade drift style car handling! I seriously can't wait to start playing again sometime next year when I get my new wheel. To the haters: want realistic? Play Iracing, Assetto Corsa, PCars or rFactor2. Plenty of sim choices out there....

Out of curiosity, does GRID 2 support the Oculus Rift?

There are more players on Grid 2 than GAS. Why???

LMFAO! That has got to be the stupidest comment I have ever read on this forum! I'm not a racer? GRID 2 = Nothing to do with racing? LOLOL. That is comedy my friend. I've been playing racing simulations *and* arcade games probably since before you were born. Carry on....
16. I heard the game is actually pretty good

There are more players on Grid 2 than GAS. Why???

It's because GRID 2 is a better game, and people are finally starting to realize it. The game was raked over the coals and absolutely crucified for not having a cockpit view when it was released. Many people including myself could sympathize and understand the disappointment with that issue. But after a while GRID fans started warming up to GRID 2 and started realizing just how fun it really is. Many people who wanted the old TOCA or GRID 1-style handling are actually in the minority. Most people from what I've seen and heard, actually enjoy the drift-y handling of GRID 2 and prefer it over both G1 and GAS. I have tried to explain time and time again on these very forums, why this game is an underrated gem from Codemasters. If you are a Sega racing game fan, and grew up during the height of the arcade racing scene in the mid-90's, you'll recognize that GRID 2 is a love letter to us Sega fans: the people who love games like Daytona USA, Daytona 2, Super GT, Sega Rally Championship and OutRun 2. GRID 2 falls into that same handling style, where you're required to drift in order to maintain speed and obtain a good track time. I suspect the majority of people still playing GRID 2 are part of that group, but are the silent majority who you won't see post on the Codemasters forum. They will simply continue supporting and enjoying this underrated classic. I'm on a haitus from the game for the time being, because I no longer have my steering wheel, but trust me when I tell you I will personally be playing GRID 2 for a VERY long time to come!!! It's because I simply adore the way these cars handle, and there is no other racing game on Steam/PC that handles like it. Hopefully CM will do something in the future, and maybe give us a spin-off GRID game that has the exact same handling as GRID 2. Maybe call it GRID: Sega Drift edition or something  Loore, if you read this post, please pass it along to the developers of GRID 2 and let them know there still a lot of people who love and support this game, and would very much love to see another one with this style of handling!

Grid Autosport

I like the idea of a new GRID game and I'm somewhat excited about the new features, but in all honesty I am very disappointed in the decision to make the handling more like GRID 1. I know I'm in the minority but I really really REALLY loved the way the cars handled in GRID 2. I hope this game does not take too many players away from the online GRID 2 community. I still would like to drift around in the game with fellow GRID 2 fans even after GRID Autosport is released :(
