    2020 FIA World Rally Championship

Hm, maybe I'll wait for that this time if that's the case. I finally got the "Pay Now" button to work by trying in a fresh user account, but I'm still sore about missing the 30% off and don't want to settle for the 20% off now.

Black Friday was 30% off, but 20% is usually the best.

Live maps and access to all the on board videos, plus anything else they might be planning to add for 2017. Last I checked I still couldn't pay for WRC+ on the website, so I'm pretty happy with the Red Bull coverage. I'll renew WRC+ if I can (and if there's a sale), but this'll be great until then/in addition. And the sight of Webber was one of the things that got my wife to follow F1 (and hating a Seb)—didn't work for WEC, but hope springs eternal that it might finally hook her on WRC...

Thanks. I saw others commented on that Facebook post about having the same problem, so I left a comment too. Hope they can resolve it soon.

Kind of on topic: I'm trying to subscribe for another year of WRC+, but the "Pay Now" button isn't doing anything. I cancelled my sub and am trying to sign up for another 12 months with the BF2016 promo code, as I do every year (don't auto-renew me for full price when you offer 20-30% off promos at the end of the year, WRC), but "Pay Now" does nothing when I click it. I've tried multiple payment methods and browsers. I sent them a support message, but was wondering if anyone here has had that issue?

The Black Panthers were absolutely not a racist hate group equivalent to the KKK. Anyway, BlackPanthaa could be named after the Marvel character. And Slap's videos are really hard to watch.

Fixed :p Definitely can agree with this. Every single time I try pCARS with the gamepad, it's a struggle that ends up with "%^&* this" cause in the end it's just undriveable. I'm driving with a gamepad in PCars just fine with default settings. Turn 10/Playground, Codies, SMS, and SimBin/Sector3 I've found are all really good at nailing controller feel for this type of simulation, both settings and rumble feedback. Turn 10 might be the best, especially for rumble, since it's the primary input for their games. Even rFactor 2 is doable, with a lot of finesse (though I only drive the BT20 in that game). I've not played a Kunos or Reiza game.

I suppose. Tucson is pretty cheap for fuel. Little while ago it was back down to $1.80/gallon Which is still high considering all the gas sources we could tap on American soil. I've also heard that the British economy is better than Americas, so even with those high taxes and all you guys have more spending money, then again that was also a few years ago. $1.80 a gallon? Damn! Last time I filled up it was about £1.15 a litre. If my maths is correct that's roughly £5.20 a gallon, so about $6.80 a gallon at the current exchange rate! At about CA$1.19/litre, we're paying twice as much as Americans. I was going to feel bad until I read @tbtstt 's reply. This is why I'm too much of a party pooper to dream properly—I'd love to own an STI! Oh but then I'd have to pay for premium. Forget it.

Oh, I agree completely there. But as you pointed out, it's final look, not "intended" ;) This might be the same for a console game, but on a PC game... well, given that we have graphical options, the two have to be separated. Naughty Dog sure can put out some awesome stuff out there. I'm still amazed they managed to make a game look that good and still run smooth on the PS4 :D That article also shows how good the "base" they made is, without applying all the post-processing tricks. Sit back, game developers, I read most of an issue of Edge once, and now I'm going to school you on your jobs! Once we get this post-processing thing sorted, we'll put multiplayer in No Man's Sky, one week, tops.

Rally China cancelled due to storm damage after organisers request: [R]oads damaged in storms last month were unable to be fixed in time for the rally, leaving the organisers with no option but to cancel.Really too bad, I was looking forward to the return of more "world" in the World Rally Championship.

That is the opposite of a good idea. Maybe for the F1 games instead: a State Oil Sponsored edition, a My Dad Was in F1 edition, and a normal edition.

I don't dislike Ken Block, I dislike American-style in-your-face brotitude (best exemplified in D2). I like what I've seen of Block's personality in his interviews, I like that he competes when he can, I like his gymkhana videos since they're basically non-stop stunt driving (3 is still my fave). I don't even particularly care one or way or the other that gymkhana was in D3—that was a CM decision, not Block's. And we still got DR. I just don't like hearing "dude" and "stoked" and looking at day-glo inflatable airmen. Same criticisms apply to the Forza Horizon games: great driving, repellent brostival presentation.

Honestly I would like to see it in every motorsports game since 2008. The last time I remember feeling that invested was decorating my garage in Auto Modellista. :P And yeah, I meant functioning cockpits. I still used cockpit cam in GAS with a no-blur mod. I can accept if the low-quality cockpits was a cost-benefit thing. All these games are some permutation of the EGO engine so I couldn't imagine why it would be a technical issue. Also, speaking of Auto Modellista, secret wish for Dirt Rally 2: optional cel-shaded filter like Uncharted 4 has. Where did the cel-shaded racing games go?

All GAS was missing for me was cockpit cam, Le Mans, and most importantly G1's team management. The way GAS did season contracts was good, and I'm enjoying PCars' contracts and invitationals, but after getting to name my team, design my own livery, pick my sponsors, choose my teammate, and fill my garage, it's hard not to miss that. I'd rather beat Ravenwest with my own team than drive for them!

Remember last season I think it was, when the WRC showed Ogier signing a last minute autograph for a kid before heading off for a stage? It happened like a day after another one of his petulant tantrums, and totally didn't look staged for the cameras at all. They'll have to hire that kid again in Portugal for another "look how nice Ogier is" moment, but put the kid in a wheelchair this time, and also have Ingrassia rescue a kitten.

Untrue. Ogier cries way more than my little girl ever does.

Neuville is the one I worry the most about. Paddon is doing already what Neuville could and should be doing. Imagine if Hyundai had Neuville driving at his full potential paired with Paddon. Speaking of, this was a fantastic result for the new i20 too, not just winning, but nobody rolled or crashed or broke down (too much). That's pretty positive for a not-totally-VW-dominated 2016. Other highlights from the weekend for me were all the awesome drone footage, especially the straight-down views (let's get those in DR!), and Paddon's bumper cam. The top of El Condor was harrowing from that view. So many legs to crunch.

hmm, ok my bad, thought it was still Redbull WRC Promoter is Red Bull and Sportsman Media. It's a joint company, so I don't know why Red Bull's promotion of WRC on their own media website has taken such a big step backward compared to last year. Good point there, I didn't do my research right ;) It probably is about money, what else?  I would think directing people to WRC+, but I don't see any mention of it on Redbull.tv. It's like when they don't have a highlights episode to host, then the WRC doesn't exist for them. Maybe Red Bull is less involved with WRC Promoter this season, I can't find any information.

I know Matt Leblanc, and unlike the American Top Gear idiots (minus Faust) he actually at least knows and races cars. Alright, if only they'd hired Chris Harris instead of Evans, that would give a professional touch to an automotive program; however, I doubt Chris Harris turned down the offer.  I read they're both involved along with Sabine Schmitz, and some other retired black F1 driver guy? Heh. The hosts are: Chris Evans Chris Harris Eddie Jordan Matt LeBlanc Rory Reid Sabine Schmitz
