On the latest Dirt Show, Paul Coleman said they're aware of the grip complaints and are looking into it; for the last two patches, Christina McGrath has invited feedback; and other Codies have been active in the forums responding to players since launch.

That was better than any of the footage from the live stages last weekend, and the best I've seen the 2017 cars looking. I'd show that to anyone who asks what's so great about rally.

That's how I hire them. I have Robert Altman wrenching on my cars in Dirt Rally, and Umberto Eco driving trucks for me in ETS2. 

Meeke was only getting stronger in the DS3. Now the C3 has undone all that. Compare the C3, where Citroën and Meeke had a year to work on it, to the Yaris, whose development looked in trouble, was restarted midway through, and then was practically overhauled with a few weeks before the season start when Latvala finally got a seat. I can only echo everyone else here, and wonder what the heck happened with Citroën.

I read that review. It was so empty of info on the game, more like a quick preview than someone who played it properly and explored all the features. There was so much that wasn't mentioned, like the DirtFish rally school.  I think it must take a special kind of patience when you are a developer and spend months on the game putting in features only to have them completely ignored at the review stage.  Eurogamer's isn't the only review on the Internet, and they're not obligated to list every feature in the game. There's IGN's review for that. EG focused more on the experience of driving, and I thought it was a fair review (but I've always enjoyed EG's reviews, ever since Kieron Gillen's Fable review).

WRC started requiring a transverse gearbox, which the boxer engine doesn't use, so that effectively wrote Subaru out of the competition AFAIK.

Trees and trackside objects don't cast shadows on console? :open_mouth: Even my humble 750M can handle night lighting on high in DR with no performance hit. Those shadows make night driving look so real. :love:

I thought this fog was much more convincing (enters the fog at 1:10-1:30 and again at 2:50-3:00, and leaves the fog at 4:10-4:35).
