    Colin McRae: FLAT OUT Pack

I'd say no actually. I've always digged the 22B but at the same time I've always felt that something is slightly off with it and it's the small darn wheel wells. A small detail maybe, but it makes all the difference imo. They make the huge wing stand out just like a 'HUGE WING' while it blends in more with the proportions of the WRC car. Now, roast me

Still, could be an individual desicion taken by somebody somewhere. I'm not ruling it out. Forget it.

So, I can't confirm it 100%, but I found this, and as the Japanese seems to be a superstitious bunch, I think it might be it. Edit: Apparently they skip 4th floor in buildings as well. Four is an unlucky number in Japan because it sounds like shi (死 – death). This is why there are two readings for the number four, shi and yon. Whenever possible, people try to avoid using the deathy one. The same is true of the ku (九 – nine), which sounds like ku (苦 – suffering, agony or torture).7 jan. 2019

Elura seems to disagree that you're nominated. You should probably double check.

This is the reason why they should add an additional type of daily challenge where it's a single car and not just class based. This would make people use cars that they never pick because it's not fast enough, which is a shame imo.
  7. This is why developers usually are very hesitant to speak out too much, because whatever they say, part of the community will perceive as a 'promise'. In this particular case she said "planning", which I'm sure they did. But anyone who's familiar with game developing knows that plans can and will drastically change along the way. Fires have to be put out to left and right and resources will have to be moved around.
  8. FFB is subjective. I feel it's adequate on gravel but it's too vague on tarmac. Then again, tarmac needs other attention before FFB. No Koly, don't count on any FFB refinement in DR2. That ship sailed a long time ago.

The tease from Grönholm RX as well as Pj's reaction pretty much confirms the RX version at least imo. I'm 100% certain the i20 R5 would be in game if they didn't get restricted by the WRC8/Hyundai deal.

What if the Hyundai deal with the WRC8 devs was a timed exclusive and it's now green light to add both the R5 and RX Hyundai?

He pointed out previous titles. I believe a handful of community members were invited to try out Dirt 4 in house during development. It was mostly UK based members I assume.

They've been allowed to switch tires after each stage as far as I know? Also, watching post stage interview shots at the tires it looks like the studs are surprisingly resistant.

If you're on PC turning off some graphical options does help. Bloom is one of them.

Why the **** is that late 90's beauty rockin' xenon bulbs? Like it wasn't enough with that hideous center yellow mark on the wheel. Pfffhhhttttt

Yes. I hope they make the whole wheel yellow now!
  17. Overlook the tire/grip effectiveness. As of now the tire model is too efficient in doing both lateral and longitudal work at the same time. For instance, just throwing the car mentally sideways reverse entry and just pin the throttle in the WRX Supercars is often the fastest way to get through a hairpin. More throttle control should be needed to extract the most amount of grip. Same goes with rally. When watching the big boys onboards they gradually increase throttle input through a hairpin and out of it. In DR2 you don't need to manage the grip as much. Adding tire temps and expand on the tire wear aspect should make it more interesting. All in all, it's very very good, but improvements can be made everywhere. The OP explained the tarmac/rear end issue in a good way 👍
