Dreams mate. Dreams! ;)

Yes, each location will have its own characteristics that will determine these factors. @KickUp Very interesting. Based on this, which locations would you consider slow rallies and which would you consider fast rallies? If the rallies reflect real life none of them would be considered slow like Greece/Monte in DR. With 13km max stage length the really fast stages won't last that long. Would be nice to have at least the length of the finnish stages when generating fast roads.

Are the surroundings part of each tile or are they a tile of their own? I mean trees, fences, cars, spectators on the side of the road. Will there be more true to life cuts on tarmac? There were a few in Germany, but in real life there are dramatic cuts more often.

If I were Mäkinen I would put Mikkelsen in Hänninens car. Same for me, but I suspect that they can't break their contract like that :-/ But one can hope. Contracts can always be broken ;) -

I just watched an onboard from SS9 - Knon. The second pass was cancelled due to high speed. My god that stage was INSANE. Ogiers fx camera on WRC+ sits between driver and codriver. Lovely view :) -
I've been collecting the stuff that's interested me: Gameplay and Stages Maximum stage length of 13 km No WRC stages Weather changes over running, rain/snow can intensify over stageRetired cars will be only AI cars on stage, no running cars Crashes play longerNo tire wearTV-style replays Repairs are quick fix/repair/replace, which affect chance of later failure Career Mode Career mode is similar to the first GRID's Male and female driver portraits No Fuzzynuts Livery editor includes templates, colours, number, sponsor placements Livery editor not available for all cars No custom names on windows Career cars for purchase are in different conditions Car upgrades are based on durability Free play cars are loaners from different teams Multi-class rallies, but separate Modern and Historic events No custom championships in career Online Cross-platform leaderboards and track-sharing Cross-platform clubs (leagues) CREST works for DiRT 4 Console DiRT 4 on Project Scorpio will be more like higher PC performance This one should have it's own thread. Got a question about Dirt 4? Check here before you ask! Yeah, right. Like people actually look at those. Yeah, but at least we can provide the link when questions is asked.

Yea, I was actually thinking about writing a summary of questions and answers but time isn't my friend.

They worked hard and deserve whatever success is coming to them. The Corolla still looked better though. fite me Ofc it does. I love the Corolla and the iconic livery. It's not hard to look better than the butt ugly Yaris though. -

If there was a rock there there is no doubt Thierry would have been vocal about it. -
@KickUp Not sure if this was asked already... The cars will have any kind of upgrades, in D4? I found a bit silly, how the car upgrades worked in DR ( very Arcade ), apart of being a grind ( drive X Kilometers, unlock Y ). It's probably, more complicated to simulate, and get it right, but i'd like to see a system where we upgrade/buy better Turbos, Differentials, Brakes, Exhausts, etc. Parts will upgrade durability not performance. So they will perform at their best for longer. @KickUp Will the default cars in freeplay have already maximum durability on them? In free play you will get a loan car from one of the teams. The team will determine the part quality. @KickUp Interesting. So factory teams like Audi, Peugeot, Citroen (if you by any chance have it), i.e. official liveries will have the highest quality parts? That is a fair assumption but not all cars will have factory teams. Hopefully the Fiesta R5's wing will be more durable than the new WRC car ;)

Can't stand Kon Desborough either. Gladly there is Swedish TV covering the live stages so I don't have to stand him ;) Gotta love Östberg. The only one really going for the jump! -

Ogier back to whining about being first on the road. Crying about the historic field making narrow lines. -

I have small hunch Östberg can set some fast times! -
As it was in french I had to use the translator. Smuts Rally/Smuts 4. That is pure awesomeness! Disclaimer: Only Swedes will get this one ;) The article is in English too in the end... :joy: Ahhh don't spoil the fun ;)
-
Smuts means dirt, right? Yep! Or well.. kind of. There's dirt on the floor = det är smuts på golvet. Dirt = Smuts This is a dirt track = det här är en grusbana. Dirt = Grus Put the casket in the dirt = Lägg kistan i jorden. Dirt = Jord But dirt isn't really gravel. Gravel is gravel ;)
-
Smuts means dirt, right? It does. It just sounds silly in your own language even if it's the correct translation ;)

The cars in recce are limited to normal road limits, so if road has limit 50km/h you've have to keep to that limit. At least that's how it's in our local rallies, not certainly sure about WRC but it shouldn't be different IIRC. Wrc has a universal speed limit on all recces, can't remember what it is though I believe it's 60 or 80km/h.
