http://youtu.be/c67hv9S0WbY I love my M3 :#
-
Co driver in heli view is not a bug. Its used in real broadcasts.
-
Agreed. I have a stupid smile on my face all the time when driving the M3.
-
I'm not really fond of the monte tarmac and RWD either, but on gravel the RWD cars handle as close to reality as I have tried. No other game /sim has been as close as this. I do have real life experience competing in 60-80s RWD cars on hillclimbs and circuits with mixed gravel and tarmac. This is ofc only my two cents. Btw, you're a game dev too right? ;)

Did you try the tweaked FFB from RD forum? It does improve the feeling quite a bit. I do agree on slightly too much grip, not much though. I have no problem steering the M3/Escort MK2 with throttle input.
-
Wheel animation matching real input. Larger startlist. Different classes. I win my class but only finishes 12th overall for example.
-
To be honest, this is the official forum, but the devs answers more on the steam discussion. And then there is a subreddit. Where do I leave my feedback best?

I use 900 degrees with 100% saturation. The Escort MK2 feels quite awesome with this setting. However, choosing other cars can sometimes feel alot more twitchy even with the same settings. I saw someone mention "twitchy steering bug". That would explain that.

on the racing wheel with TC SC abs set to off. I had my issues with losing control at 80-100 throttle and becoming unsettled in non ebreak corners. (see Profile/Game Preferences) Did you mean they don't slide enough on e break turns (inertial drifts, is that the term?), or snap on you during non e-break standard bends. If anyone else wants to add there 2 cents feel free. Hmm. Not sure I fully understand you. But I'm not talking about handbrake turns I'm talking about applying throttle in general. These cars should really step out sideways when the diff is firm.

- Sound. More gravel slamming against the bare metal of the car. - Wheel animation should match the real degree of turning. Preferably I would want every car to use the correct steering ratio automatically. - A true broadcast style replay. If we want to change to incar view, we can do that manually. - Less grip! RWD cars are not tail happy enough atm.

Grip seems to be too high in general. RWD cars should be waving their tail more to be honest. There are some occasions when stepping on the gas out of a tight hairpin my awesome sounding Escort MK2 really feels like a proper RWD car on gravel, but in general there is too much grip. FFB needs to be looked at. It's nowhere neare pleasant as of now. Drivning the M3 on the tarmac of Monaco did not feel good at all. I hope tarmac physics is goin to be improved. Alot. I usually drive with my Wheel set att 900 degrees and saturation set a 50-70. Driving the Grp A Impreza felt quite good, but jumping in the Fiesta with the same settings was awful. Way too twitchy around the center of the Wheel. I also noticed that the same car and the same Wheel settings, can feel different from stage to stage. First stage feels good and without a crash, next stage it feels like my settings have changed, the steering does not feel the same. Anyone also noticed this?
