The dash in the Fiesta is still the roadmode Could be wrong, but I think the Polo R5 is too. Wonder if it's one of those annoying licence things? That would be a pretty weird thing to forbid. "You can use our car, but make sure you don't use the race mode dashboard."
-
The Ego engine was made for the PS3 and Xbox 360, so that shouldn't be a problem...
-
Putting RWD Group B as DLC would be very weird. The Manta has been here since DiRT 3 and the 037 since DiRT Rally.
-
Definitely a Manta.https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/b1/RussellBrookesOpelManta400.jpg

I'd rather have DiRT with lots of different cars and no WRC than a WRC game with the 4 WRC cars, some R5, maybe a few more cars and that's it.

Yes, the Aston Martin is a V8 Vantage GT4. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e60cf8tyCWY

That comment was made before we knew the Aston Martin existed so it was probably in relation to that. You're probably right. Still, we already knew about the 911 GT3 (obviously) and the pony cars at that time, so it makes me think she was talking about more than just one new car.
-
Well, don't get your hopes up, that's just wishful thinking. But Christina's comment about the R-GT class makes me think there's still at least one car we don't know about in that class, which could somehow mean we're missing even more.
-
What if we're still missing over 10 cars including F2 kit cars and a bigger 2000cc class? Wouldn't that be great?
-
So the Polish stages are supposedly located in Łęczna county, which is pretty much halfway accross the country from where Rally Poland actually takes place. You might want to check out other Australian rallies because the stages we have probably aren't located in NSW either.
-
I guess something that begins with C and ends with ar list.
-
I have absolutely nothing against the R-GT pony cars. They've become true sports cars now, and they're in GT4 spec.
-
I’d still say fairly low, until we know there is a 2000s class. At this point I wouldn’t mind the 2000s class being dlc if we get more cars in the class. You have to consider, as someone already said, that locking an entire car class behind a paywall isn't a good idea... So maybe the 2000s class will be present at launch with very few vehicles and they plan to expand on it with DLCs (which I'd be fine with because WRCs <3) Clearly they don't care about that.

You should play it again some day. It's an arcade racer, yes, but it really makes you afraid of driving fast, because a single mistake can ruin your race. You can even break your suspension after a rough landing.
-
FlatOut 1 is better, FlatOut 2 is too arcade-y.
-
Also it may mean we're getting more inspired liveries than we got in DiRT 4.
-
No livery editor, but no words on a photo mode.
-
Is there room for a second Porsche in the R-GT class?
-
Have you heard of a little company called Capcom?
-
This would be the best way to do it. Still, group B RX was in the last game so it's a bit disappointing to get it as DLC this time, especially if there's nothing more than what was already in DiRT 4.
-
You won't be able to play group B RX online unless everybody in the lobby owns the DLC. And as there's no lobby browser, you just get matched with random people who most likely won't all own it. It isn't a matter of choosing to play group B RX, it's a matter of being able to.

The way Forza does it is that everyone "has" the cars, you just can't drive them if you haven't bought them. Don't know how I feel about constantly having stuff installed you can't access because you didn't pay enough for it though. That's how everybody does it, and it's perfectly fine. The issue is that we're talking about adding a new separate car class, that would only be available to the people who buy the DLC. Things like this split the player base and can prevent people who paid from even using the DLC online.Adding new cars to an existing class isn't a problem at all.
-
Speaking of 2000cc, if they moved the Evo VI to that class, what would they replace it with in group A? Another Lancer? The Celica is out of the question...
-
@tbtstt Well there's a shot of the Silverstone starting line. :p Thinking about what I said earlier about DLC, if they gave one free car for each DLC car class, it would let everybody play together online. Then there's still the issue of DLC locations. DLC are pretty hard to implement within multiplayer.
-
Not sure how I feel about car classes in DLC. What if you want to play with them online? Are you restricted to playing with people who also own the DLC? And what about daily/weekly/monthly challenges? That's exactly what made Grid 2's multiplayer terrible, you'd buy DLC and wouldn't be able to use them online unless everybody in the lobby also had it. I also don't know if adding cars that were already in the last game is a good idea. Especially group B cars which will be in the game at launch too, just in another discipline.
