Lefebvre... I had high hopes for him after last year, before his Germany accident.

Couple that with their rather biased opinions (SLRE better than DiRT Rally apparently...) and... you can tell that there's definitely some shady stuff going with them. I avoid that channel like a plague... or even more actually. Nothing biased about disagreeing with the majority.

I'll go with purely awesome.

Hooray!  I've been planning to go to the rally for the past few weeks and the idea seems to be taking off so far. Who'd have guessed my first rally could potentially have snow?

What were Oliver's concerns regarding rally in that Facebook video and have you been able to refine them?

I had been confined to RBR since May when my GPU broke, until recently. Vanilla RBR is impossibly hard and just hard for the sake of being hard. However, RBR with Next Generation Physics mod (the one RSRBR has) is really something. The tarmac physics are spectacular, and the gravel physics are quite spot on too. When I came back to DR I tried to get the cars to feel similar to RBR and thankfully, on gravel, I got the fiesta to feel just the same. Can't say the same for tarmac, but oh well.

I'm already celebrating the fact that the title race is on, and possibly three way! It's been two years since Latvala had a chance at the title after four rounds, and damn it feels good. The long winter is over! It's a shame Sordo wasn't able to fend off Ogier, as it would have helped everybody. I think he might be nearing the end of his career soon. Breen pleasantly surprised me once again, and when Latvala retires both he and Paddon will be my favorite drivers for sure. Good on  Neuville for not making a silly mistake with the win in his hands, too. Evans and Lefebvre have been disappointing so far this season. When Evans and Tanak reached the end of theirr contracts in 2015 I'd hoped for Evans to stay. Now, my choice would be the other way around. Lefebvre too: he'd been so impressive in the DS3 and now he's without a doubt the worst WRC driver. I'd say even Hanninen is better; aside from his horrible inconsistency, he's shown pace on a few occassions, those few being greater than Lefebvre's none. Speaking of Hanninen, if Toyota are to really put up a fight against Hyundai this year they've got to get Lappi in the car ASAP.

Ooh, my anticipation builds! Latvala uploaded a video to his YT channel detailing how he felt for the rally and what he expected from it. I've never seen him as relaxed and lacking pressure as I have now. Toyota could be the team to win him a championship. I've always considered that, for him, it's a matter of when rather than if.

How can you possibly deal with the lack of total blindness in Sweet Lamb?

Wich video are you talking? In the one with the 208 the guy says thats arcade handling with no traction control He says he thinks it's arcade.

Will the drivers which crash out and are visible on the stage match the incident report?

1. Chase cam does have water droplets. 2. If you want it to be fair drive from either dash cam or cockpit view. 3. THERE ARE TWO WATER SPLASHES IN THE ENTIRE GAME. (Which begs the question: will D4 have water splashes?) 

But its the least important factor in any racing game, ever. Plus, think about it, cameras don't have wipers or any cleaning mechanism (in rally at least), so any water on screen would blind the player for two (decisive) seconds.

From what I saw of the video, the crashes look a lot better. Since I've come back to DR a few days ago I remembered the most frustrating thing about it: the rock solid ditches. Luckily, the guy in the Opel Adam went off the road, dug the nose of the car in the dirt and carried on without rocketing into space, and the guy from the video slammed into the walls in Spain without getting launched away. Thank goodness!

SKiRT 4!  :) It'd be cool to have that kind of diversity in the game. Might help attract more female players to the genre/sport. I see a black co-driver as well. Is the combination of  driver and co-driver randomized? @KickUp :) Your co driver's appearance will depend on who you choose as a staff member.  Do different co drivers have different accuracy or speed attributes?

Do any playtesters echo Oliver's concerns? How different is RX handling to rally handling, and if it is better in which ways?
