was referring to Grid ,sorry about that

hows the physics on the hillclimb cars ? just curious as i may get this later ...............thanks
-
crazy to imagine how little the amount of people asking for VR and owning Dirt 2 and owning a wheel lol ...................its such a niche crowd. MY 1070ti plays Dirt and Projext cars 2 fine in VR and i hope thats the resolution tech will evolve to where we can all afford it and play it. For now , ill just plan a nice triple set up ...........
-
thanks for all the info........................would have thought we"d be farther along with this tech by now
-
well i have the Rift and was just hoping for a 4k set to buy. What about the many chinese ones out there that claim 4k ? anyone has them ?
-
Isnt the new Oculus 4k ?
-
cant attest to the extent of damage to cars that happen, but i can tell you that cars do some "funky" weird stuff on impact with certain objects. Not realistic i may say .
-
ok so i bought it last nite.Cant setup my Fanatec pedals and doing some wonky stuff with my 300rs wheel too.Like the menus bounce when trying to map pedals ,and will not recognize brake pedal, but does do the gas and clutch.I hope im doing something wrong, but its not intuitive setup screen. Also, i did drive with no brakes ,lol and i have no feedback at all.Just Cadillac smooth steering .So getting flustered ...................
-
thanks for clearing it up
-
so you cant get it til 18th on Epic either ?
-
My main concern is that it has to be nothing like WRC 7 as far as physics / feeback.....................that was unplayable after Dirt
-
well i guess ill wait for a review on wheel .............................btw where to buy PC version ? Cant find it ?
-
I will buy when out, but have a baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad feeling about physics.Revamped 70% still may not be good enough and looks like cars on edge in vids dont get lose when stupid driving inputs are made .Hoping.............
-
awesome news ,thanks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Guaranteed that the handling ,as though it may be "revamped" its not totally new and will be shiiiiiiiiite.Just my opinion, as all previous ones just sucked.Cool graphics aside,(not as good as Dirt 2.0) its a at best an arcade racer. Will get it after launch, but it will probably sit just like my WRC7 copy.

DiRT Rally 2.0 - Force Feedback
Madhun1967 replied to flowerdealer's topic in DiRT Rally Series Suggestions
so i took my Lexus Rx330 to NC hills on logging trails last weekend. In a luxury SUV with supple Tokico struts and 225/65/17 Nexens i felt every pebble on the trails through the rack , no joke . I would just love more vertical bumps, rattles etc. -
DiRT Rally 2.0 - Force Feedback
Madhun1967 replied to flowerdealer's topic in DiRT Rally Series Suggestions
Basically on tarmac we just need to make it feel more like Raceroom.Take a hillclimb car in one of the hillclimb tracks in Raceroom in practice mode ,and see what we mean.Just needs more "bumps and rattle and vertical vibration" lol on asphalt............... and steering needs to specifically alter effort as car slip angle varies. -
their FFB is junk and will be ..................cars handle like barges ,and in the visual feedback you can tell, that there is no "small" rattling bumps simulated, its all just "sweeping" undulating terrain elevations are mimicked .Besides that , no momentum and handbrake turns are like a joke. The lighting does look good and overall the graphics, though not as detailed as Dirt 2.0 look alright. Sounds are also stone age, including riduciulous arcade sounding codriver

real life 2020 FIA World Rallycross Championship
Madhun1967 replied to tbtstt's topic in DiRT Rally 2.0
I had real fun at Midohio ARX.Gotta meet all the guys and enjoyed the overcast ,as i didnt "fry" this way.Speed is beast, and i love how he races like its an all tarmac circuit. So tidy. Was lot of fun. -
Nice nice ! Lets do it.I can just post here a day before i go up onFriday.
-
Small world , in Columbus too.Ive been to STPR many of times .Whos going this year in the fall ?
-
I was there man ,loved it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Look how the Citroen "bleeds" speed in every corner ....................IMHO has no "weight" at all , loses momentum way too quick and then just chucking it straightens it out right away ,aka not real life

The physics are way off on gravel again and the sounds !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jeeeez , this is 2019 and ive seen 2 people mod teams do 3 times better sounds for cars
-
so my question is how they could do the correct driving physics if the models are off? just curious
