I was winning the second match until my phone rang.onetwothree said:To be fair @fIsince08, you did lose to me, so maybe the problem lies with you and not the game? -
The referees on FIFA 12 are the most bias buttheads I've ever seen. Larsson goes in with a, I'll be honest, rather firm tackle but got the ball first. Ref blows for a free kick, books Larsson and Van Persie of course scores against my goalkeeper. Then of course, my keeper seemingly has jelly on his gloves (and his legs) whilst their keeper saves every damn shot of mine bar one and their defence blocks every shot. Despite me playing 5-3-2 they can walk through my defence as if they are statues.I don't know how I haven't broken a controller after a 6-1 defeat. -
The new sky sports website is terrible. It's like moving from vBulletin to Lithium. -
HartJohnson--Cahill--Jagielka--Henderson--Gerrard--Sterling--Barkley--Lallana--Shaw--BainesIdeal line up. -
This will be Roy's only world cup.
Seriously, he'll be 70 at the next one for crying out loud. -

Come on Gus, get us someone good! -
Meh, V8s suck anyway. -
Gotta love Jozy.

I prefer the full Oulton Park. Does BTCC use the extra chicane or not? -
For what it's worth, England have lost every penalty shoot out they've entered in a world cup. -
A bit off topic, but that world cup logo does look a lot like a facepalm... -
Has anyone ever had a goalkeeper injured during a match on FIFA? Just asking as Mignolet got injured in training for me. I've seen keepers get sent off but never injured in a match. -
Ah well, I put a score in anyway :pTommig1995 said:
You only need to put a 'p' in the penalties column, rather than predict the penalty score. That would be stupidly difficult!fIsince08 said:Also another point, the first semi final prediction bit doesn't work - I have Italy to beat Brazil 6-5 on penalties yet Brazil progresses. And the same for the third place play off. -
RUB IT IN WHY DON'T YOU? >:PjordieDAFC said:One the Captial One Cup last night with a 2-0 victory over to be league champions, Man City. Also en route for the FA Cup final and Europa League final.
The triple is on.... -
Oh OK.SILVERARR0WS said:
No , it's winner of group A vs runner up of group B , Runners up of group A vs winners of group B and so on. (A + B) (C+D) (E+F)fIsince08 said:Just a thought, but how is the draw for the knock out stages calculated? Surely it's by chance? -

I say yes, they are racist. No, I wouldn't put them in the same boat as the BNP. Neither are really similar to the tories...onetwothree said:I want to know what the deal with UKIP is. Are they actually racists? Would you put them in the same basket as the BNP? I've done some research which suggests that they're quite similar, politically speaking, to the Tories and our own incorrectly named Liberal National Party. I also find it rather amusing that their largest representation is in the EU Parliament, despite them describing themselves as eurosceptics. Please enlighten me.
As for Europe, I don't really know what MEPs do tbh. -
They weren't the ones on the news yesterday...SILVERARR0WS said:
These rooms ? Or maybe I'm looking at the wrong ones ? :-/fIsince08 said:
Have you seen the England rooms?! I wouldn't be happy sleeping in them and I'm not a millionaire!SILVERARR0WS said:
Come on man ! FIFA will make sure that the streets are safe , and that accomodation is up to scratch etc. Plus , the stadiums are just finished , so nothing to worry about. South Africa doesn't exactly have the safest streets in the world , but there were no problems there.fIsince08 said:The world cup really should have been held over here. Certainly not in Brazil anyway - the accommodation is crap, the streets aren't safe and the stadiums aren't ready. Look at all the nice stadiums we have over here - Wembley, Olympic Stadium, Emirates, Etihad, St James', SOL, Old Trafford - even Craven Cottage and Anfield. Big mistake FIFA. -

It's the gear ratios that annoy me, 1st and 2nd are too short due to the turbo.SILVERARR0WS said:
I'll be honest , I didn't notice any of that . Still can't beat the Brands time with the Lotus . Too much understeer at high speed corners for my liking.PeteTheDuck said:I think the Paddock Hill Bend run off area was tarmac and now it's gravel, same for Druids. Back in the 80s the Graham Hill bend was just one nice long left hander and now it's tighter and kind of has 2 parts. Also, Westfield Bend is now tighter on the apex than it was, similar to Graham Hill Bend.
