  1. Such a shame the BBC lost the coverage and really makes you wonder what will happen with sport on the BBC as a whole. It'll also be interesting to see if any BBC personnel move to C4. If I were them, I'd go with the following if they could:
    Presenter: Maurice Hamilton
Pundits: David Coulthard and Martin Whitmarsh
Commentators: Ben Edwards and David Coulthard
    Technical Reporter: Gary Anderson
    Pit lane reporter: Tom Clarkson

I still remember the butthurt from all of the golf-fans in the UK last year. That was even better than Lewis winning tbh.
    That was fantastic.

"BUT HE DOESNT PAY TAXES, RORY HAS SO MUCH HONOR"
    *wins 3rd title*
"OMG LEWIS THANK YOU FOR SAVING BRITISH HONOR"

*Honour* It has a "U" in it!!!

    (Sorry, pet hate)

Oh wow that's cool! How did that come about then?
He was returning to his old school at Yarm (about 45 minutes from my house) and gave a lecture for the Cleveland Institute of Engineers on the "Design and Engineering of a Formula 1 Car". Needless to say I wanted to go and he stayed afterwards to let people ask personal questions. He's a really nice guy, humorous and was down to earth. He's my inspiration! :p

Pretty shocked how well league 1 is going for me. After promotion from L2 the goal was to avoid relegation, after 3 games I have won 3 games, and haven't conceded a single goal. I also beat Bristol City 3-0 in the Capital One cup. I have only added 2 players from last season, one for just 75K and another on loan, I feel like a genius at the moment. I'm building it all on a strong defence, as last season I conceded the least amount of goals which got me promoted and the attacking players are scoring goals :D
    Hello Big Sam ;)

The films and everything are great, but the music is what gives me the chills. Such an amazing soundtrack.
Film soundtracks don't get enough credit, they can completely transform a film.

It sounds stupid but in that particular trailer, the bit that gives me the chills isn't any of the music in the actual trailer, it's the bit at 2.02 where it just says 'Star Wars'.

Firstly it's an E major chord (probably my favourite note), and the horn melody is just so good. The whole balance of the chord is spot on, amazing bass and then subtle strings at the top.

    Oh god yes.
I didn't think you liked Star Wars?

  7. "FIA Formula 2 Championship

The World Motor Sport Council gave a mandate to the President to formalise the contract between the FIA and the GP2 promoter for the establishment of the FIA Formula 2 Championship to complete the FIA’s single-seater pyramid from Karting to Formula One."

It'll be interesting to see what this means for GP2...

    21. Abu Dhabi, Yas Marina, 27th November
    Power Unit:
The token system has been opened up a little.
    2016: 32 (Up from 25)
    2017: 25 (Up from 25)
    2018: 20 (Up from 15)
    2019: 15 (Up from 3)

The sections previously closed off for 2016 have been reopened. Essentially the token system has been pushed back a year. Any new manufacturer gets 15 development tokens in their first year and 32 in their second.

Also, manufacturers are allowed to sell year old spec power units and the FIA has confirmed that Ferrari will supply a team with a 2015 spec engine (hello Toro Rosso).

    Virtual Safety Car:
DRS will be enabled as soon as the VSC period has ended. The VSC can now also be used in practice sessions.

    Tyres:

    • Three tyre compounds will be chosen by Pirelli for every race
    • Thirteen sets of dry weather tyres will be provided to each driver, the same as in previous seasons.
    • Three of those sets will be chosen by Pirelli. Two will be chosen for the race, whilst the third will be the softest compound and will be used in Q3.
    • The driver may choose the remaining ten sets from the three compounds available.
    • In a dry race, each driver must use at least two compounds.
    • In a dry race, each driver must use at least one of the tyre sets chosen by Pirelli.
    Bernie Ecclestone and Jean Todt
Bernie and Jean have been given the power to make suggestions regarding F1's governance, engine regulations and cost reduction and should have a conclusion by the end of January.

Meh, only 61 - certainly not enough to win. Thanks for organising everything @fIsince08  this year though, it's been good :D And good job @Chadwick8505 - we did pretty well in the team standings :)

It would be pretty cool to see some stats of the season if you have time/motivation to do it - like the highest score, lowest score, highest scoring race, lowest scoring race etc.
I think I could do that. Need to get the results done first though :p

Matt ain't the only one to appreciate it ;) I totally get why the wait for results has become longer, I was guilty of it myself lol. Good job though Chris :) I imagine you're now looking forward to handing it on like I did, even though it can be pretty fun at times :p
Thanks guys and best of luck to @afrodude41 next year! I've tried my best not to fall behind, but university applications, school work and writing for two websites has taken it's toll.
Does @afrodude41 have any sort of excel setup? I have a bit more free time these days and can finally work on a proper template that should easily and quickly add up points.
You'll have to ask him. I sent him the way I do it, but it's totally up to him.

    6+54=60.

Thanks for having me in your team Seb, it was a pleasure even though I know that we were both going for the win. ;)
Of course ;) I'm not going to add up everyone's score but I feel fairly sure we got 2nd in the team's championship. So we didn't do too bad :p

Unfortunatly I think I saw someone say here that Lee has left Codies or something, so it doesn't look like the top 3 teams will be getting a prize anymore :(
Lee left a long time ago, but when I get the results done I'll ask Jenny if there's anything she can do.
