  1. Austrian grand prix completed and another double podium. DSQs for Schumi and Hakkinen mean Im joint top of the WCC and Fisi has bolstered his WDC standings.

And Germany leads to some decent results too, but my cash sponsor negotiations aren't going well.

  2. British GP completed on Grand Prix World, and it was a little disappointing. Fisi had a poor qualifying and retired on the first lap with accident damage in the midfield, although Wurz did bring home a podium. As a result, I'm now quite far behind in both championships.

However, my 1999 chassis is nearly completed, meaning that I can start focussing attention back on the championship hunt. Furthermore, I've just created a fan club that'll provide me with an extra £200,000 a race. My sponsor deals are going well too. The R&D perks will be signed before the end of the season, meaning I can then lap up any cash sponsors that are left at the end of the season.

    Sunderland....................

    Enough said :joy:
I was at the match last night, I booed at half time as the defence was shockingly awful. The kids introduced were awesome though. Watmore scored the fifth goal thanks to some great determination and probably should have got a second. Gooch was fantastic on the right wing.

  4. French Grand Prix completed and Fisi now leads the WDC again. Wurz once again led a Benetton front row lockout, translated into a podium for Fisi and points for Wurz. I've successfully got Marlboro onboard, meaning I'm over £10 million up in sponsorship already with 4 cash sponsors still to negotiate!

  5. Just completed the Canadian GP on Grand Prix World. Wurz and Fisi locked out the front row, which transformed into a fifth and second place finish. Fisi and Irvine are tied for the lead in the championship and I'm just three points behind Ferrari in the constructors. I've now concluded works deals with Ford, Bridgestone and Mobil 1, and next race I will have Marlboro signed up too. Once I get R&D deals negotiated, I can work on pure cash deals. Also, my car design for 1999 is nearly done, which will then allow me to focus back on the championship fight.

  6. I read this on Autosport, and the first 6 have this message: these are the only messages that may be passed to the driver whilst he is in the car and on the track, from the time the car leaves the garage for the first time after the pit lane is open on the day of the race until the start of the race.

That surely means that nothing has changed for those 6?

Less of the PC > consoles please. I don't want to have to close this thread.
You mansack. Totally unnecessary and needless editing of my post, you can't understand that the peasant vs master race thing is just a big joke? And the only thing likely to close this thread is stupid editing of a post that didn't need editing at all. Censorship at it's best.

Consoles are potato's, a high end PC is like a chocolate gateau made by Gordon Ramsay.
I'm in a bad mood atm so jokes are going over me and it was in the reported threads section, don't take it personally.

  8. Okay, so I'm now allowed to reveal the reason why I can't run the predictor game anymore. Formula Update has joined the Fresh Press media group and has been renamed Read Motorsport. It's a big move, as I now have to write two articles a week and we get access to Getty Images, which we previously didn't. Even better, we may now get invited to media events, such as press conferences, shows (like the Autosport Show) and so on as journalists!
