Yea it sounded like a good atmosphere watching the video.

Yeovil are a bit messed up at the moment, we 6 injured players, most of which are midfielders. Then a CM player got a red card Saturday, so now we only have 1 midfield player... :joy:
Play the classic 5-1-4 formation? :p

  2. Monaco done on Grand Prix World. Wurz took pole with Fisi third, but the race saw Coulthard win, Fisi second and Wurz fifth. Fisichella leads the WDC, whilst I'm second in the constructors - a point behind Ferrari. I've also signed a works deal with Goodyear for two seasons.

  3. Wait, what is a 'good' mark to get in your A levels? Or how does the marking scheme work? What even are your A levels?
    There are 8 grades (A*, A, B, C, D, E, F, G, U). C or above is a pass and they are exams you take between 16-18 years old. Most unis look for passes in 3 A-levels.

  4. Race five (Spain) and I've gone from 4th and 7th on the grid to a solid 3rd and 5th. Irvine won the race, meaning Ferrari lead the WCC (with me second) and Fisichella leads the WDC as Schumacher was third and Hakkinen retired with an engine failure.

I've just worked out that if I manage to get the title sponsor and works deals I'm aiming for, I could earn and extra £12,745,000 next season without actually signing any further cash sponsor deals! (Currently only Komatsu are signed).

    Things are going well!

Ok guys, I'm going to say this now to give you plenty warning.
I won't be able to continue running the game after this season due to something that's happening, and the fact that I'll be at uni next year. If you're interested in taking over then PM me about it :)
Not to be a bad influence, but the first year of Uni is just a giant p*ss up. With a bit of work in between. You would've been fine to run the game alongside that, but I'm sure afrodude will do a great job as well :p
Ah but there's another reason on top of that which will be revealed soon ;)

Hmm, are you getting married? :p
My guess would be that he's either replacing Crofty for the Sky F1 commentary team, or he's been offered a paid job to write articles about F1 (both would be pretty damn sweet!).

Or he's going to Uni in India so that he can pose as Mr and Mrs Rohan already grown up child, but because the internet out there is patchy at best he may not be able to run the predictor game properly ;)
I could do a better job than Crofty ;)
If all goes to plan I can say what on Sunday.

  7. Races 3 & 4 done with another 2 front rows. Fisi brought home a podium in Argentina, whilst I finished fourth and fifth at Imola. With my staff deals sorted, I'm now working on sponsors. Marlboro look set to become my title sponsors, with me also getting works deals with Ford, Mobil 1 and Goodyear soon I hope. I've started work now on the chassis for next season too, and my new factory upgrades will be ready for next year.

  8. Race 2 and a fantastic bit of timing on my behalf led to Fisi leading a 1-2 off the line in Brazil. It was raining and I sent my boys out on inters straight away, handily just before the rain came down heavier. The race itself and Fisi dropped to sixth, whilst Wurz brought home another third place.

I've managed to sign Coulthard and Diniz on three-year contracts. Diniz pays for Coulthard's salary (and a bit more), whilst I've managed to get some great deals with staff too (mostly on two-year contracts). I've had to settle for a three-star chief designer, but I could do worse and he's only on a one year deal.

    So for 1999:
    Driver 1: David Coulthard (1999-2001)
    Driver 2: Pedro Diniz (1999-2001)
    Test/Reserve Driver: Pierre Raimbeaux (1998-2003)
    Commercial Manager: Ekrem Sami (1999-2000)
    Chief Designer: Osamu Goto (1999)
    Technical Director: Pat Symonds (1998-2000)
    Chief Mechanic: Mick Ainsley-Cowlishaw (1998-2000)

My god Football League highlights on Channel 5 is beyond shit.... It's more like s chat show than a highlight show.
I thought it looked better than what the BBC used to do.

Did you actually watch it though? It was awful, there was more chat than highlights, and no structure as they went to Championship then L2 and so on. You should read the tweets about it, 99% of people hated it. I love watching football highlights, but I'll never be watching it again....
I only watched 20 minutes of it until MOTD started.

  10. Started a new Grand Prix World save, this time with Benetton. It's immediately harder, but a long term project. First race done, Fisi got pole on softs and Wurz was fourth on the hard tyre. Finished first and third in the race, and hired David Coulthard for next season. Now I want to try and get Diniz as number 2 to pay his salary.
